This review reflects my personal opinion and recollection of my experience working with this…read moreattorney. It is intended to share my honest perspective, as is my right under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). Readers should conduct their own research, form their own opinions, and proceed accordingly when choosing legal representation. My overall experience with this attorney did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I did not achieve the objectives I had hoped for, and my situation worsened during the course of representation. My case took a significant amount of time to get filed, and communication with the attorney was challenging. During our three in-person meetings, no clear goals or deadlines were established. As a result, my family and I faced serious consequences, including the risk of foreclosure on our home, the repossession of my truck, and significant emotional distress. An emergency bankruptcy was filed only after my truck was repossessed, which left me unable to earn income. This, in turn, affected my ability to make Chapter 13 payments, leading to the dismissal of my case despite my efforts to secure employment. I was not notified when my case was closed and only learned about it through a letter from the court and a different attorney who informed me that my mother's home was at risk of being sold by the bank. I found the lack of communication and clarity regarding my case deeply frustrating. In my opinion, the attorney abandoned my case and has not responded to my attempts to seek clarification or answers about the court correspondence I have received. While I acknowledge that my financial difficulties are ultimately my responsibility, I sought this attorney's help in good faith to navigate my circumstances. I had hoped for more proactive communication and exploration of alternative options, such as filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which might have better addressed my situation. My mother also had a case with this attorney, which was similarly discontinued. However, in her case, the attorney made an effort to notify her and connect her with a different attorney. It remains unclear to us why her case was not pursued further. I want to emphasize that my experience with the attorney's paralegals was excellent. Carmen, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me and was consistently available to address my concerns. I greatly appreciate her efforts and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not work with this attorney again. However, I encourage others to conduct their own research and make their own decisions when selecting legal representation. Edit: To retaliate is to return a harmful action with another harmful one, often in an attempt to get revenge or "even the score". Some examples include throwing a rock after being hit with one, a manager firing an employee for filing a complaint, or a country imposing tariffs after another country imposes them. Writing a fair and honest account of my experience with any business is a Constitutionally protected right. The implication that my review is retaliation in and of itself suggests that harm was somehow done to me first, so what exactly is being said here? It is categorically false and I can assure that my fair and honest review was posted simply to share my experiences with this attorney as many other people have done. It's not irregular or retaliatory for customers to review their experiences. It's part of a healthy open market system that promotes transparency and helps others make informed decisions. The personal attacks posted in response to my review are shocking and unacceptable. Revealing private information about my case is highly concerning because it violates the duty of confidentiality. This duty is protected by strict professional rules. The narrative presented in the comments is missing context and for the most part untrue.

Trusts are complicated and my mom isn't an attorney so she relied on them to give her solid advice and she told them what she wanted. The meeting was about an hour and it was with the owner of the firm and one of his associate attorneys who was female. By the time it was time for my mom to sign the trust a couple of weeks later, it was not what she expected. I was in the room and expressed my concern at the outcome. There was a big problem with the trust that was not explained to her beforehand. She asked for it to be fixed and this is when the female attorney started blaming us for wasting her time. She didn't use those exact words, but she blamed us for the mistake, which seemed odd because it was something they should have warned us about or explained to us. She was making it all our fault and then saying she didn't have time to fix it. She had another client right after us. The trust would have to be completely redone and this time it wasn't a packaged deal...meaning more than $3,000....lots more. My mom was very upset by this and I was trying to help by pointing out the issues but the attorney kept interrupting her and I and the next thing you know, she's yelling at both of us. At this point, we asked if we could just meet with the Mr. Dallara himself but she said that wasn't a possibility at all and she was offended by what we wanted...because it was clear we did not find her professional at all. That's when it went completely off the rails. More yelling and turning the tables on us. By the end of all this, my mom is very very upset, and she gets up to leave and I go to get her walker and by that time this attorney is telling us she doesn't want us as a client anyways. I literally had to hold up my hand to motion for her to stop yelling at us as we were leaving the room. How completely rude! My mother is elderly and disabled and this was completely unprofessional. If something is not done right, you should fix it. You should not be blaming people who don't even understand the law...that's what the lawyer is for! We were not unreasonable. We were not rude to her. Both of us were shocked by the treatment we received. She's simply not the type of person who likes to be wrong and she was and was embarrassed by it and make it OUR fault instead. [Even though this review is in my hand, my mother has read and approved what I've said. She has a broken hand from falling the other day and cannot type on a computer. I was also a witness to everything that happened. ]

Warning to Simi Valley Residents: Experience with Attorney Stephanie White (Bar #250725)…read more I want to share my experience to prevent others from falling victim to poor legal representation. I retained Attorney Stephanie White to handle the completion of a QDRO following my divorce. Despite paying her $3,113.63, she failed to complete the necessary documents in a timely and competent manner. On top of that, I continue to receive bills from her totaling $4,600, despite her failure to provide the services. Her handling of my case forced me to hire additional counsel at a cost of $1,200 to correct her mistakes. Stephanie White appears to take advantage of clients during difficult times. I have filed a formal complaint with the California State Bar. If you are considering hiring her, please proceed with extreme caution.

More importantly, the outcomes were fair, balanced, and grounded in the facts, which was exactly what I was hoping for during such stressful times. One of my cases was especially contentious. It involved significant conflict, serious accusations, and repeated attempts to challenge my custody rights. Throughout the process, Stephanie and her co-counsel Jessica Zylak remained steady, strategic, and fully prepared. They've never reacted emotionally or escalated the situation unnecessarily; instead, focused on presenting clear evidence and advocating firmly but professionally for what was right. Their approach brought credibility to my case and kept the proceedings centered on my child's best interests. Her team operates with the same level of care and precision. Every question I had was answered thoughtfully, deadlines were never missed, and I always felt informed and supported. They clearly pay close attention to detail and take the time to build a strong, well-documented case rather than relying on theatrics. If you are looking for a family law attorney who combines sound judgment, composure under pressure, and a deep understanding of the court process, The Law Offices of Stephanie White is an exceptional choice. I'm grateful not just for the results, but for the integrity and professionalism shown every step of the way. Extra thanks to Jessica Zylak, she is a stand-up representative. Because of her diligence and commitment, I was able to center my focus on my son's well-being. I am exceptionally pleased with their services and grateful for their help.

We received a email with a video discussing the many issues we needed to include in our trusts. We received Homework to complete such as what are our memorial arrangements, names of doctors, allergies, specific gifts we would like to give to family. Most important were things like quality of life, what would we like if we were placed in a home. We're impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of both lawyers and the knowledgeable employees, and the invaluable guidance we received from this law firm. We especially enjoyed how personable and thorough Rebecca and Dinh were in executing our two Trusts! We highly recommend this firm they are experts at handing Living Trusts.
