Made with a fresh ingredients and no sugar added I had a delightful oatmeal strawberry ice cream from the greenery creamery the blend was perfect and it tasted so fresh. I absolutely loved it. I didn't indulge much, but it was definitely the kind of drink that I could imagine having over and over again. The service was great. The area was a little bit small but that's OK. It's great to get it and walk around and enjoy it.
Overall, good ice cream flavors. I tried quite a few and some flavors seemed a bit mild. I went with a seasonal flavor with walnuts. It was delicious and a bit of a small scoop for $5. My favorite flavor normally is the Triple C. I've visited their location in downtown Orlando before and enjoyed it, but this is my first visit to their Sanford location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Located in a cute food hall with plenty of seating.
After going out for dinner in Sanford, we were looking for an ice cream place nearby, and saw Greenery Creamery on the map. What we didn't realize at the time is that it's inside a food hall! This made it a bit confusing to find, but all the more fun inside. It was a super cool atmosphere and there were quite a few restaurants inside. The Greenery Creamery itself had such good ice cream! They had plenty of unique flavors, as well as several serving options. I went with the cherry flavor in a waffle cone. Delicious!!
My favorite ice cream place in town! I got the black coconut ash ice cream flavor with the homemade black cone. I got the fruity pebbles topping. I asked for the lavender sprinkles topping but the employee said the manufacturer discontinued it. The service was fast and the ice cream was delicious. We all had to try some. The flavors are all homemade here and so creative.

Still completely in love with this place two years after my first review! Tonight I was at Henry's Depot and the kiddos needed their ice cream so obviously we stopped by GC. They each got two scoops of the Black Ash Coconut ice cream in a waffle cone. I had eaten a large dinner so didn't order anything for myself, but I definitely made the kiddos share with me lol. The black ash coconut is seriously such an amazing flavor. I can't get enough! Service is always great as well. This mama gives two thumbs up. Please stop on by if you haven't already!
The Greenery Creamery is located in a busy and loud food hall with many different cuisines and choices to pick from. Their ice cream is always unique and they let you try up to 3 flavors. The service is a hit or miss as many times I went there, the store front was empty with no one manning the desk. The store wasn't closed for the day, the workers just weren't there. My go-to favorite is the Triple C's and it is super good! Their price point is a bit high but it's a good treat for once in a while.
There are no samples allowed, and half of the flavors are dairy-free. We got the trio in order to try the Coffee cookies & cream, Sour Florida Orange Pie, and the Peanut Butter Brookie (which I liked in that order). Overall, they were all good but there was something slightly 'watery' tasting with all of them like they had a bit more milk vs. flavoring. It wasn't icy, and it was very creamy although it melted on the quicker side - again, not bad, but I could have appreciated more flavor if that makes sense. I knew I would like the coffee cookies & cream, but the Orange Pie was a surprise hit - I was afraid it was going to be too tart, but I actually would have appreciated more tartness for this! It's what I always hope an orange creamsicle would taste like with the added bonus of swirls of 'graham cracker crust'. The peanut butter was for my girlfriend who really likes peanut butter flavors.

Inside Henry's Depot, my go to Ice Cream boutique, they have the staples, Vanilla bean, Belgian chocolate and also Monthly flavors. I usually purchase a pint and eat it over time, by over time I mean a week lol. They also have dairy and gluten free flavors which are also delicious, even if you're not looking for dairy free you'll still love the black ash coconut. Staff here are great and friendly!! read more
The Greenery Creamery is an artisanal ice cream shop co-founded in 2018 by Marie and Mo in the Thornton Park district of Orlando. On a visit with my daughter a few years ago I fell in love with their high quality, locally sourced ingredients and unusual flavors. Fun fact, Marie is a trained opera singer. She has gone on to open Sampaguita, a Filipino dessert shop in the Mills District. I was in Sanford stopping for dinner at Henry's Depot and was surprised to discover that Greenery Creamery had opened a second location, a stall in this food hall. It was so hard to pick from all the amazing flavors so I sampled a few with the help the very nice young man who was working and ended up giving great recommendations for dinner. After I ate I came back for the iconic Black Ash Coconut in one of their famous charcoal activated cones which is reputed to have health benefits like helping stomach pains and curing hangovers. A single scoop of ice cream in a charcoal cone was only $5. Other ice cream flavors that were offered on my visit included Dad's Actual Favorite Flavor, Peach Cobbler, and Ube Brownie which is a purple yam ice cream. They also had a collaboration with Bungalower for Planet Earth, a coconut lime and melon ice cream in a naturally colored blue and green hue. Some of the flavors are vegan, dairy, and gluten free. They had June specials and they even have pup cups. I was so happy to be able to reconnect with the amazing ice cream at Greenery Creamery. read more
This is inside of a food hall! At first I had a little trouble finding it but I'm sharing a picture of what the outside looks like in case anyone is clueless about this area like me. They have a lot of fun flavors! Half of them are vegan. I ordered a Triple C - which has coffee and chocolate cookies in it - with chocolate sauce on the top. $5 ish for one small scoop plus another dollar for the chocolate. The coffee flavor was lovely and mild. Paired well with the chocolate and cookies. Service was friendly. I wanted a milkshake originally but apparently they only do that with vegan flavors. read more

If you are on the hunt for delicious ice-cream with a modern, eclectic feel-this is the place for you! Tucked away in downtown Sanford, this gem of an ice-cream store has both milk based and vegan varieties of ice-cream. There is truly something for everyone! And it doesn't stop there! The flavors are well thought out and many are unique. They offer anything from Ube, Tea Cake and even Black Ash Coconut. These flavors are both unique and delicious! I got a scoop of Tea Cake with hibiscus and rose crystals. They were like sprinkles but even better! My boyfriend got a scoop of the "Triple C" aka coffee, cookies and cream in a waffle cone and loved it! I sadly had to remove one star because my cake cone was stale but the delicious waffle cone made up for this disappointment. All in all, a great ice-cream store in Sanford! I have been multiple times here - and realized I never left a review! Let me tell you all - I have a dairy sensitivity. Their vegan flavors - FANTASTIC!! It tastes like ice cream I had growing up, but BETTER! By far not only the best ice cream in Central Florida - but the best ice cream PERIOD. The people there are always so kind and helpful, and I love that you are a block away from the waterfront. It makes for a great meetup spot for friends and family looking for a great ice cream experience for dairy and non dairy lovers - look no further than the greenery Creamery! read more

If you're one of the few people out there thank likes Ice Cream, then you may enjoy this location of The Greenery Creamery. They have both dairy and non-dairy (vegan) flavors to scoop as well as Soft Serve. You can choose to have the ice cream in a cup or in your choice of cone (I love their black ash coconut cone). I wish they had a menu/price board behind the counter so you can at least see the price per scoop, cone, etc. They have a tiny laminated menu to look at and if you don't want to grab something everyone else is touching, then it's tough to get a read on what to get. The scoops were a tad on the smaller side, especially for the price. I guess if you get multiple scoops, the price per scoop goes down. But starting at the $4.25 mark for one scoop is kind of high, especially for the size. Look at the pics and judge for yourself. They need to be consistent as looking at some of the other pictures from other Yelp! folks with more than one scoop, their scoops look bigger than mine. The black ash coconut ice cream was good, but not as good as the black ash cone. The speculoos was good as well (cookie butter flavor), but some of the pints you can get in a grocery store can be better than these. And at $5.50 for two tiny scoops (before you add any cone), you have to think if you really want to pay a lot for that amount of ice cream. Same with the ice cream sandwich, pricey! They do have lots of interesting flavors that I'm guessing will rotate around based on ingredients and seasons. They also have some baked goods (vegan and non-vegan). read more

Maple pumpkin spice latte is in! But only for this month so come and get some! I prefer the triple C. But the MPSL is strong and there's no denying the real pumpkin flavor in there- not the fake syrup stuff. This is legit! read more
Happened to just stumble upon this place as we were focused on finding the pizza booth! The girl at the counter was super helpful and gave us great recommendations. I picked the Triple C which was coffee ice cream and Oreos. No disappointments there!! It was the perfect amount of flavor of both. My fiancé ordered the Cookie Monster which was blue died vanilla ice cream and Oreos and that also looked great! Toppings are .75 cents extra per topping. I ended up getting sprinkles and these mini cookie bites that tasted like a cone but with cinnamon sugar sprinkled and MMMMMM that was my favorite part, I think! I mean who doesn't love when we can make foods look like a hidden Mickey?? read more

This was my first greenery creamery adventure, i have been hearing great things about it so i was excited to try! There is no signage whatsoever indicating the name of the establishment so if i hadn't looked online beforehand i wouldn't have known that the ice cream place inside Henry's Depot was in fact Greenery Creamery. Not sure if they're a new vendor and just haven't gotten their sign yet or what. I opted for the double scoop because i couldn't decide on which flavor i wanted. I ended up with speculoos and birthday cake. I got it in a cup with a waffle cone on top. By far, the waffle cone was the star of the show, it was easily the best waffle cone I've ever had. I'm not sure what they do but it was different in a good way! As for the ice cream it was good but not as good as i expected due to all the hype. It tasted kind of chalky which is kind of ironic since the word "cream" is in their name. You hear creamery you think of creamy ice cream, this wasn't the case. All in all, i ate the ice cream, it was fine. The waffle cone is what will bring me back though. read more

I'm not a big ice cream person but I will try ice cream from small businesses, always. This one of my favorite thus far. Unique flavors like Thai iced tea, and cool topping like ube condensed milk. Cones are made right in front of you and it just smells amazing! read more

We decided to stop at this stand after running some errands. The whole location is pretty cool because it's like a food market so you can try different restaurants all in one location. The ice cream stand has about 15 flavors. These flavors are definitely different from your average store. One thing enjoyed was that they had vegan and dairy options. Being that I can't eat too much dairy this was a huge plus. My wife got coffee flavor ice cream which we both thought it was amazing. It had the chocolate malt ice cream and it was alright. The one set back about this ice cream parlor is the fact that you can't sample the ice cream. Especially with the flavors of ice cream being so different than your average parlor you're kind of guessing which one is best. read more
