Erected from the ashes of a derelict Hollywood Video, this place has it all! Buffalo nuts, asparagus, expired soda, 5 pound bags of blue cheese, frozen enchiladas, light and heavy flow tampons, a full deli, and who's that? Mandy Moore? No, it just the Mennonite cashier. I like what they've done here, but to remove 1 star for the Jesus music, then 1 star a couple of days later when getting a sandwich because I noticed the air supply and air return vents were absolutely filthy. I primarily use Grocery Depot's Deli Department witch is very good however on this occasion I purchased 3 or4 different lunch meats and cheese. I ordered 1pound of corned beef the lady that was cutting it got a new package and opened it up and sliced up a pound bagged it and I paid for it and was out the door. I was in a remote area when I open up the bag of corned beef to find it was at least 75% FAT I was extremely disappointed. When I got back to Lebanon I called Grocery Depot and asked to speak to the owner and was told he was not in and was asked what the problem was and the young lady said we id have some bad corned beef and she took my phone number and she would give it to the owner. Over the next 2 weeks I called 5 more times and left messages for the owner and never received a call back. On the last call a young lady told me he owner said I could return the corned beef for a store credit or a different product. I really wanted to talk with the owner because the corned beef should have never been sold in the first place. I asked the young why the owner didn't call me and I was told he was to busy! Which I replied " I am to" A simple 1 or 2 minute call from one of the owners Mr. Hiebert or Mr.Hostetler would have been common courtesy. read more

I like this store better than the Albany location. It's bigger and has more selection. We come to Lebanon once a week for Girl Scouts so I'll be coming here when my daughter is at her meeting. I didn't really look through the refrigeration section because we were going to be hanging out in town for a while but they have a large selection of refrigerated goodies and freezer goodies. Customer service was great as well. We were greeted when we came in and they were really friendly. Can't wait to come back! read more

You can always find a deal at Grocery Depot so long as you don't look at expiration dates. That first line sounds bad, doesn't it? I know it does. How do you open up a review on the Grocery Depot and other, similar, chains around Oregon? I dunno, it's tough. Let me start this review over and try again... Cheapskates of all stripes shop at Grocery Depot risking life and limb for a good deal! That's better, I think. Grocery Depot's shelves are stocked to the brim with good deals on, what I assume, some other poor b******'s cast offs. Looking for discontinued ice cream that may or may not have gone bad last month? Grocery Depot is your place! Look, as the cheapest of cheapskates I'm willing to risk that popcorn that expired last week for 89 cents. Don't get me wrong, not everything is expired or discontinued. There's stuff here that will never go bad! My goodness, this review isn't going well. It sounds like I hate this place, doesn't it? Am I making this place sound awful? Maybe I need to try a new tact. Great store for bargain hunters and the adventurous because you never know what you'll find. I've been introduced to many things that I really liked and would like to keep buying there or somewhere but most things are only available there for awhile and I can't afford them at a supermarket. But it's fun to find things and I like the faith based music they play-it is Mennonite owned. read more

My wife and I shop here 4 times a month. We enjoy going into this store and have been shopping here for almost 3 years now, they know us very well as they also know my parents. There food is cheap and well priced. It is also clean and well maintained. I enjoy shopping here because I know I will get more for my money then I will anywhere else. When you enter the store there is a feeling of family and freindship that you dont get in super store. read more
