Excellent Asian grocery with a delicious restaurant in the back! It's not fancy, but the food is delicious! They have a great selection of dim sum, steamed and stir fry dishes and some tasty looking soups as well. My friend had some yummy beef and broccoli, while I chose a few dim sum dishes. We are on the hunt for furikake because we were down to one container and my girls weren't a fan of it. We found so much more. Mochi in the refrigerator section and in a box. Lots of instant ramen and udon. Our favorite senbei is here too, and a different kind to try too. Cooked sticky rice for when I don't want to make a whole pot. My girls found some Ramune and other drinks to try. There's only one person to check out but that's okay, he's quick. There's a restaurant in the back that we want to try next time. I prefer to go to Rice n Spice but I come here when there's something I need that Rice n Spice doesn't have. It's your typical Asian grocery store and I'm very thankful that we have this in Corvallis. I've never had any problems with my change or missing items. Lots of reviews here saying the cashier is rude but that's just how Chinese people are... dont take offense to it. read more

Be sure to check your change when you pay with cash! This place is very different from Rice 'N' Spice. I only go to this store when I really need something and doesn't have a choice. My experiences were always bad. I always come out of the store feeling angry. Cashier is not professional at all. She would pull my receipt while I was still signing. I pay with cash there for the second time today. I got a torn $1 back among other cash the first time. This time I got a coin that I can't even use here. It was partly my fault for not looking at the cash before I get out of the store, but it is still not professional. I would not be paying with cash if I ever have to go back there. read more

Considering that Corvallis isn't the largest city in town, this is definitely the best Asian market in terms of selection. There are only two others in town and I also do not think that they compare in terms of size and price. You can find just about all that you need in terms of dry foods, ingredients, beverages (including alcoholic), and miscellaneous kitchen supplies. As well as a modest refrigerated section and a wall of frozen items. They do a great job at keeping things well stocked. Keep in mind that a lot of the items do not have English labels, however it can be fun to poke around and try new things. A lot of the staff do not speak English, so be aware of that. Also, they do prefer cash for purchased under about $10. Definitely check out their little restaurant in the back. They have a pretty extensive menu, they even have a Dim Sun menu! I like to order and shop for groceries while I wait. It never takes to long, the food is great, and the portions won't leave you disappointed. The location isn't far from campus or Fred Meyer, so it's a great option when you have to get all of your shopping done in a short time. I believe they only have one day during the week that they are closed, I want to say that day is Tuesday. I'll always keep coming back to this market! read more

When Went in here looking for a space that is traditionally used in Hawaii on fruit. Single employee was very curt and dismissive pointed me towards the spice aisle with an abrupt it's over that way wave of the arm. It looked like they had a lot of Asian office options and the prices seemed not too high but I really have no experience. It look like compared to the other Asian grocery store in Corvallis they were banking on the depth of their product offerings not necessarily their pricing or service. It may not be a great experience but it's probably more convenient than going to Eugene or Salem which are your other two options. Much of the signage is in Mandarin and it's quite possible that the employees English was very limited. read more

Selection was very limited, the store was very unclean with high levels of shelf over-hang, which made me very nervous. There were multiple wet spots near the cold case as well. Cashier was quite rude when checking out and threw my debit card back on the table when handing it back to me. The cashier was on their phone throughout this whole interaction and did not greet me in anyway. Also, the prices on some of the items were completely absurd. I understand there are costs associated with importing some of these foods, but the prices were borderline scams. read more

Love this place. Good protective measures (large plastic guard at cashier, hand sanitizer station), great selection, courteous staff. They carry boba, sweet bean paste, an assortment of ramen bowls and bamboo steamers, plus all the cute snacks. I think they just started selling sake and plum wine too. The "surgical masks" they're selling are FAKE. I'm a health care worker and with everything going on right now with the shortage of masks and PPE in general, coming upon their bundle of masks was a godsend. My work gives us one surgical mask to protect our residents and ourselves and that's it for who knows how long. So when I came upon their stack of masks I was overjoyed to be able to share with my coworkers and not have to wear the same mask for over a month. They did a very good job of making them look like they were REAL surgical masks, but don't be fooled. The simple blowing a flame through the mask test exposed their deliberate attempt to capitalize on people's fears. It's horrible that they are making some people feel safe when they're not very protected at all. So very disappointed. If I could give them 0 stars I definitely would. read more

The selection was horrible. For example, they did not have hoisin sauce. I asked and the woman hadn't heard of it. Perhaps hoisin is a regional sauce but it has been in every Asian grocery I have gone to. I also did not see any Thai fish sauce but I didn't ask since I was going to Rice n Spice for hoisin. read more

Came here for the first time a few days ago, and went back today. It's a great little store! Coming from Portland I was spoiled by tons of very large Asian supermarkets, so I wasn't sure how this place would measure up. Obviously they don't have the selection of places like Hmart in Portland, but they have all of the things I like to get! A good selection of Asian vegetables, lots of noodles to choose from, and a decent selection of sauces. Also a decent amount of home goods! All at a great price, I'll definitely be coming back regularly! read more

They offer a wide selection of east Asian foods. The staff seem to do the best they can with moderate English.

So happy to have a bigger and more comprehensive Asian market in Corvallis. It is much needed here. There are fresh vegetables, meat, frozen foods and many different types of sauces, snacks, noodles, dried food and some household goods available. It's a very pleasant surprise to have so many selections. The place is very clean and bright and spacious. Looks like they are still stocking up their shelves. I hope they will add more merchandise like canned goods. But I'll definitely shop there often. read more

Great Asian market (and needed in Corvallis) that carries all your needed ingredients for whatever dish you're cooking. I was making Dan Dan noodles and bought everything I needed at this store. It looked still a little bit empty because there were only 2 people working (that I saw) and it was quite busy. I also like that all the prices are marked out in the open and not for guessing when you go to the register. I will definitely be back! read more
