And after falling in love with her work, I contacted her to do a maternity shoot for my growing belly :) We booked out a few months, for when I would be between 7-8 months pregnant. My boyfriend and I had SUCH a fun time shooting with Melissa. She is an absolute sweetheart and made us both so comfortable. We never once got bored or felt awkward. She listened to what we wanted (my requests were far from demanding, we just wanted a few nice black & white prints.. and we both have tattoos so we wanted to look as tasteful as possible.. the rest was in her creative hands!) and she worked masterfully- quickly & precisely- behind that camera! When we did our ordering session, we had the hardest time picking out just a few to print.. but we finally narrowed it down to 6 favorites and we are so happy with the quality of the matted prints (I've got them all framed, they're just waiting to go up on the walls!) We have just scheduled our Baby's sessions! I'm not looking forward to that ordering session because I already know we are going to want them all haha! Whatever your photography need- boudoir, wedding, family, baby.. she does it all.. and she does it perfectly. Her style was just what I was looking for......sexy, sultry, mysterious and playful. She was very easy to get in contact with and more than accommodating when making my appointment. She helped me with any questions that I had (and I had a lot) and sent me lots of information that helped me tremendously to prepare for the shoot! When I showed up for my appointment, I was amazed at the studio and all the options. Then came the VIP treatment.....a glass of champagne to calm my nerves while Angela did my hair and makeup! And what an amazing talent she is!!! I wish I could look like that everyday! She was so fun and personable! I felt like old friends within 5 minutes! Then it came time for the photoshoot! Being a mom of 4 my body is far from perfect but I quickly forgot any imperfections or hang ups I had about myself! Stefanie makes you feel confident and empowered! She guides you through each pose and really makes you feel like the most beautiful woman! I also wanted to do some in my boyfriends firefighter gear but didn't want them to come across as cheesy or too costume like! I looked at reviews and emailed a few boudoir photographers but kept going back to the Pouting Room. She does have a tasteful photo on YouTube . https://youtu.be/3-PDVTmSaZc Stephanie meet with me in her studio (btw was a candy shop of lighting, furniture and opportunity for photos ) and over 10 years experience of Boudoir. She had a straight forward contract but it covered everything and a deposit was required. The photoshoot , makeup and prints or canvas are a separate cost. It took a while to find the shoes and outfits but get extras and not the same type of outfit or color. Put your clothes and everything in a suitcase. Her makeup artist Angela ( so pretty ) and understanding of my makeup concerns. The makeup was thick and I was concerned it was caked on ( I'm a more natural girl but I really don't know how to apply it properly) Angela had examples of how my makeup would translate in a photo. Stefanie didn't make me feel rushed and took tons of photos! You need to tell her your comfort level ! I told her absolutely NO nudes and she respected me and my comfort level. She will narrow them down to the best of the best photos when you do the reveal at a later date. It was really hard to only pick a few from the bunch to make an album. She will send you a link to approve or change the layout of the album. My fiancée got his album the night before our wedding. Let's just say we didn't need the gift he gave me for our wedding night.
