I've worked with Matt on 2 occasions and both times I was very pleased with the experience and outcome. Initially, Matt took some professional head shots for my company's website. Matt took a ton of photos with a variety of lighting effects and backgrounds. He's in the South End, so he had some really cool outdoor shots as well. I chose 3 photos with different backgrounds and Matt cleaned them up nicely. For my second experience with Matt, I asked him to take some family photos that included our 5 week old baby. I needed a business photo for an upcoming speaking engagement. Matt was very responsive to my initial email and questions. In addition to scheduling an appointment that worked with an upcoming deadline, he also scheduled a hair and make-up consultant who worked with me prior to the photos. I am an actor who needed to get my headshots done last minute. I contacted him on a Tuesday and he was able to schedule me for that Thursday! He brought in a professional hair and makeup person to the studio (at an extra cost, but it was well worth it! I didn't even need retouching with the amazing job they did!) and he made me feel right at home. He is so much fun to work with making you laugh and smile, really bringing out the best in you. I usually don´t feel comfortable being photographed, but Matt does a great job making you feel relaxed and more natural in front of the camera. He has a great ability to capture different angles, lights and expressions, even if you lack basic posing experience (as in my case).
