Beautiful place AND delicious food? Oh yeah!! I love how comfortable and warmly decorated this restaurant is. Sturdy, rugged and elegant altogether. They don't offer a huge menu but what they do offer is usually good for everyone and good quality food too. The coffee could've been hotter but it was very tasty. I wanted something simple so I ordered the breakfast bowl and a side of green chili. Hubby got the eggs Benedict which was served over their tasty scratch made biscuits. They didn't give enough hollandaise sauce in my opinion but he said it was yummy. My bowl contents could've been much warmer and the eggs not made into an omelette shape. We've had great meals at the Grove but our last experience was less than pleasing. We arrived before 8:00 pm and the hostess met us and said the kitchen closes in 10 minutes and there would not be time to get your food before closing. We were a bit shocked. That's not the norm in restaurants. So ... what is the real closing time? As we walked out, another customer followed us out and asked if they turned us away. We said yes and the other customer was shocked (and he said he's been waiting for his food for an hour). read more

The restaurants in the Grove have always been really good no matter which restaurant has been in there. The current restaurant, Cassie Bee's has a great menu with lots of options and the food never disappoints. The last time we went to the Grove, I ordered the southwest chicken wrap and it was fantastic! Because it's one of the better quality restaurants in Delta it can often have a long wait so I do recommend calling ahead for a table. But I do highly recommend the Grove and will continue to return and try new menu items! read more

Website said the restaurant was open this evening, but arrived to find out it was closed due to a "large catering event", according to an employee. If a business is going to operate other than its normal schedule, it should use the many modern conveniences available via the internet to inform customers of changes. I stopped into The Grove for dinner in Mid July. The Grove is located in Delta Colorado on S Main Street. The grove is a mildly upscale restaurant / store / landscape establishment. I came in this evening for dinner with a buddy of mine who lives locally. He spoke highly of The Grove so I decided we should go. Upon entering you immediately notice that The Grove is a bit sophisticated for the area, which is a good thing. The decor is quite nice, yet not overpowering. The tables were mostly filled and we were sat by the owners brother who was very nice. We were seated at a table and proceeded to peruse the menu. I settled on the lamb. The waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The wait time for food was reasonable and the lamb arrived hot and looked delicious. The lamb didn't disappoint. The meat was tender and full of flavor and the vegetables were also quite tasty. I highly recommend The Grove if you are ever in the Delta Colorado area. I'm quite certain it will be the best meal you have while there. read more

Really under impressive experience at the restaurant this evening. I'll start with the food quality aspect. The salmon was under cooked and was quite bland in taste. The shrimp and grits were grainy and lacked flavor. The Brussel sprouts that came with the pork chop were substantially over cooked. Actually more like destroyed. Our wait person was very slow and made no attempt to service recover when we shared our feedback on the food. Most of what we all received went back to the kitchen. Really can't say we'd go back. Do not recommend at all. Save your money and pick another restaurant. read more

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday and had a super experience. Getting seated and ordering was fast, easy, and our server was great! He recommended the raspberry ice tea which I enjoyed. The roasted beet salad was delicious. The beets were still warm and warmed up the cheese without wilting the greens. It was unique and great! My hubs had the grilled cheese with Mac and loved it. Really unpleasant experience. The server was also the bartender and had no clue how to make a basic martini on the rocks. First she told me that martinis aren't served on the rocks, lol. What she served was hilarious. Embarrassed, I had to explain how to make it. They were out of several items on the menu. Didn't have the beer my friend wanted, didn't have any soup and didn't have any dessert except one piece left of a sad looking carrot cake that the server brought out to show us while she told us a sob story about the person who makes desserts worked really hard yesterday so didn't get a chance to make any. Server was overall extremely unprofessional. The food was bleh. Brussel sprouts were not crispy and were swimming in balsamic vinegar. The salmon was a bit overcooked and the cilantro rice had no cilantro in it, just a weird combo of tomato and corn. The carrots which made up most of the vegetables were raw and crunchy. Curious as to why the owners would have untrained staff working, unstocked menu items and cooks in the kitchen who don't how to cook. read more

I really loved this place and have enjoyed several great meals and drinks but the last few times it's been mediocre. Service is OK, we ordered green chili smothered fries and it was like soup was poured on them, making the fries super soggy . Also got 2 steaks that had a lot of gristle and couldn't eat it all. My husbands bluecheese burger was great, we would definitely get that again. The alcohol drinks are inconsistent especially if you like martinis. For such an expensive restaurant, I think they should laminate the menu to keep it clean and sanitized, the stained dirty paper menus have gotta go. read more

We couldn't find anything on the very limited dinner menu so we ordered the Shrimp Linguini. It was served in a bowl with 1/2 inch water at the bottom. I was disappointed in the food. Its not that it was bad it just wasn't prepared as I expected. The Beet Salad was by no stretch of the imagination served on a chiffonade of kale. There were big pieces of kale, many with thick stems and there were not very many beets. Other than that the salad was fine. I ordered Eggs Benedict which I expected to be traditional but instead of ham there was chicken and instead of Hollandaise there was perhaps a Bernaise sauce? It was not what I was expecting and the menu didn't describe it as such. The staff was friendly. Our waiter was also the bartender and had a lot going on so that I didn't ask about the Benedict that wasn't Benedict. Next time I'll order something else or ask more questions. Very unusual restaurant for this part of Colorado, but in a good way, higher quality ingredients and if you like Mediterranean foods, you are in for a real treat. Prices are good, probably should plan on taking your time there, as the do get busy sometimes. So, slow down, order a drink, engage in conversation! So happy to have fried this place, we will for sure be back. The atmosphere is very cute and warm feeling! We started off with the green chili fries and their green chili was awesome and had the perfect level of spice without overpowering for me! We had the huckleberry margarita and the pineapple jalapeño margarita. Both were good but I was partial to the pineapple. My hubby got the gyro and it was so fresh and very delicious! I'm so happy to finally have a local place to get a good gyro! I had the southwest chicken wrap and it was the perfect balance of spice and ingredients. I of course had to get the green chili Mac n cheese because I have a thing for Mac n cheese and it was absolutely wonderful! We had cheesecake for dessert, which was ok but nothing amazing. I'll start by saying the food is great and the restaurant is beautiful. We were there on Friday, May 12th and my friend and I were both very pleased. However, whoever was at the front desk on the day we went was unfriendly and when she seated us said "we're out of menus". No smile, no sorry, no nothing. We were seated in the back room and it was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. Finally we were provided a menu and our server came and took our order after waiting for 45 minutes. After lunch, while we were paying our bill we asked why everything took so long. She said a party of 17 had walked in just before we arrived and it slowed everything down. How nice it would have been if someone had explained this to us. The server was great, but the woman at the front desk and her lack of communication or help was dreadful.
