A short drive later, I was trying to find what I needed, and came up short, but only in quantity. An employee came by and offered help, and I told them what I needed. They were right to a different bin, and counted out the exact quantity that I needed. They then gave me the price for that item and one other similar item. When I mentioned that the app and website didn't help, they told me that some of the items wouldn't come UP on the website or in the app, but that I could call anytime to have someone check the stock for me. I wrote the info on the handy plastic bag and went to check out. The employee at the checkout counter was polite, friendly, and professional. They asked for my phone number to access my rewards account. When I walked out, I had exactly what I needed, and for a very reasonable price. This is now my go-to store for all but major hardware needs. I highly recommend Ace Hardware, and especially this location. It kind of felt like I was dealing with family.

Did Brad have several of the same product, like say, an overstock? Look HD can absolutely return broken box items to the vendors and get credit, once HD doesn't get credit because of destroyed merchandising not the item but the box, they get partial credit and write off the rest. Mr Brad cannot afford to return to vendor for partial credit. Please remember local businesses do not have the 'funds' corporate have. Please be patient.

Drove 15 miles to Canyon Lake Ace Hardware and they started the same process of sticking it in an automated machine which again said it couldn't be made. This time the Gentleman that was helping me said let me look in the back. They still have the old manual key cutter and an assortment of blanks. 15 min later I walked out with three brand new keys for a 35 year old vehicle for less than $15. Top notch customer service.

My mom waited an entire day to only discover, that they either delivered it to wrong house or lied on their paperwork. In any case, we caught the lie, and they then scheduled my mom's delivery 2 days later. After my mom purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's, she had it exactly 4 weeks and because she paid cash money for it they refuse to exchange it. The water dispenser does not work, and it has a crack on one of the shelves. My mom noticed a tag on the shelf, and after she pulled it off, she discovered the crack. Indeed the manager was nice; however, he refused to assist us with anything. The refusal to exchange was unthinkable. I am very disappointed with the products at Lowe's. The brand that I am speaking of is Samsung.

Today though, I would like to give a special shout out to Jonathan Moore, a delivery driver that delivered our lumber. My wife is a 100% disabled veteran and unable to help carry anything. The boards were 16 feet long and Jonathan saw me struggling to get them into place (about 50' from our normal drop spot) and he carried the boards from the truck all the way to the building site and then helped me turn them the right way to make it much easier for me to continue my project.
