She was my real estate attorney and reviewed all of the documents for the successful purchase of my house. Recently, I thought it would be wise to begin estate planning for my entire family (my parents, my sister, and me). Judy had a special package that included a simple Last Will & Testament, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, and a Power of Attorney. After meeting with Judy and reviewing our situation, she advised that we also create trusts in order to protect our assets. If we didn't create trusts, the probate process to transfer assets through the courts would cost much more than if we created these trusts. Judy walked my family through the entire process and answered all of our questions. She had diagrams to explain the process of estate inheritance and the importance of having all of our documents in place (Last Will & Testament, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, a Power of Attorney, and trusts). It took us several months to gather all of the necessary documents and review the estate documents. Once that was done, Judy and her team prepared the documents for execution and notary. Everything was completed in one hour in our last meeting. My family and I truly appreciate the time and guidance that Judy had provided us with in the complex world of estate planning. She did say if she did accept my case, she would treat me as well as she treat her privately paid clients. David tells it like it is, explains everything with a paper and pencil, gives his opinion, and conducts his business like it should be done. It's easy to go thru every detail as my case took over a year to finally end in probation, but i will say that David predicted the outcome very early on. He knows everyone in court and is well liked, he showed up every time and communicated any absence during court negotiations thru his friendly staff. My situation got a little sticky in the end with dates and times as i had to serve 1 day in jail to complete the sentence, David was like a concerned parent and seemed to ride out the day tracking my status and even contacting people who were running my business. David also agreed to help terminate probation after 18 months and his secretary Monica helped with detailed instructions on how to get bail money back.
