I give them credit they came back and cleaned up but I shouldn't have to tell them to do that . Next problem is they destroyed multiple sections of my lawn when they did the paver installation and they did not intend to re-sod the damage areas. I didn't understand why they didn't have a plan to repair the damaged sections of my lawn and why they expected me to foot the bill for the repairs. I had to pay for the sod and the labor for them to repair the grass they destroyed. So I was very unhappy with this part of the job. I think it's fair for the customer to expect the company to fix the grass if they destroy it. They did a good job laying the sod I had to pay for.

Sadly, I will not work with nor recommend these guys to any of my neighbors…read more My wife wanted some trees downed in our yard and saw an ad on Craigslist for Free Estimates for Tree Work. She immediately called and the gentleman came down within 20 minutes. He looked at what we wanted done and gave us an Estimate and told us they could do it in one day. They would bring a large truck to help get the taller part of the trees and clean it up same day. I requested he have it schedule on my day off from work on a Wednesday, which he said would not be a problem. When Wednesday rolled around he did not show up until late in the afternoon and it was only him and another gentleman in his pickup truck. This other gentleman had to take a lot of direction, indicating that he had no idea what he was doing and for all I know didn't even work for the company. They cut down the larger tree and only half of one of the Pine Trees and called it a day. There were still 2 palms and now 1.5 Pine Trees Remaining and no truck to clean up the mess. During one of the days I had to work they decided to come back down with the larger truck, more people and remove the 2 palm trees and the remainder of the half pine tree that was left. There was another man there, the supervisor, who told my wife that he couldn't do the last pine tree because the guy quoted us too low. I was not home to argue with him and with the number of men there my wife was uncomfortable to say anything. They never came back after that except when they sent the company down to do the stump grinding. So I never was able to speak to someone face-to-face about the mis-quote and disrespectful use of our time. If one of your guys gives a customer an estimate and that price is agreed upon before the job starts a company should not change their agreement and not finish the job. If their employee failed to give a proper estimate then that employee should be taken aside after the job is done properly and trained to do a better job not be taken out on the customer who is the one paying for the job.

First, even though the tree was partially uprooted, there was no urgency. Second, for a week prior there was no communication. I found out late last week that they would be there Monday. On Monday, I woke up to a mess. 10 people standing in the yard making an absolute mess. Chad, the foreman was condescending and a jerk when I asked what was going on. At any rate, they showed no care and tried to do as little as possible. They left the property looking significantly worse than when they came. There is debris everywhere and now the HOA is bringing a second company in. NEVER HIRE LUCAS. Bad business, Worse business owners. No communication and they just don't care.

Today we had a wonderful experience with work performed by American Tree Care, LLC. We had a HUGE…read moreshrub job consisting of approximately 25 yards of hedges which required cutting sides and tops cut about 2 feet down. Very tight area next to pool enclosure. In addition, we had an extremely tall overgrown tree where limbs were extending too close over our roof and electrical service lines. Rob was our point person. Came out and gave us a quote promptly. Workers arrived straightaway and dutifully cut down the shrubs and tree limbs in record time. They had to work on our neighbor's side, and conversed with him accordingly. I hired Taylor Landscaping & Irrigation from Ponte Vedra FL area to do landscape work on my newly…read morepurchased home that had overgrowth of trees and shrubs. (I know- my address still shows Buford Georgia but i cant figure out how to update to my new address) Several trees were to be removed and pulled from ground and small shrubs were to stay. When they arrived the different crews scattered and started pulling bushes and shrubs not marked or listed in the work to be done with no real oversight to be sure they were doing or cutting the right trees. Instead of leaving good bushes, they were all removed. That's not the real problem. The problem is after they pulled the trees, I gave them a check. The check was cashed a few hours later, and no more work was done in regards to cleanup. My yard is a mess of roots sticking out of the ground, areas half done, unleveled areas. I started making calls the next morning and never got a return text until noon. They came and picked up the branches and tree limbs but never finished the work including laying 500 feet of sod. Additional calls and texts were either never returned or gave me a false promise of when they would return. Remember, never pay until you have done a final walkthrough as they will never come back.
