Plus - it's inexpensive! Just make sure you leave extra time around the edges of your appointment because sometimes they can take a bit long. They do cuts and colors in their small shop.

Parking is generally convenient too (with the exception of peak events) with spots usually available on Main Street or in the lot behind Columbine Cafe, right across the street. I immediately fell in love with this salon! Offered a beverage, which I planned on cashing in on later but ran out of time, and told the stylists I wish I could stay and hang! Lots of good energy. The guy we had was supercool. I was able to leave and walk my toddler around the plaza while he performed his magic. I also purchased two prints as a souvenir from CO they had on display. Had an appointment with Amy to have my roots done. While she was very cool, I just don't think she…read morewas paying attention to my processing. She put on 25 volume and left it on me for a very, very long time (long enough to wash, cut, and blow dry another client she had in at the same time). When she finally washed me out, she said she needed to do a toner on it to tone it down. It actually took 2 toners (which I had to pay for each, of course). The end result is that my roots are MUCH blonder than the rest of my hair and the two toner applications appeared to have done nothing (or, at least, I wonder how bad it looked before!). Plus, the level of blond is nearly toe-head, which really looks awful on me and is not at all what I wanted. I just wanted my roots brought up to the rest of my hair. I am now debating going somewhere else for corrective color, but I am worried that my hair will just break. It is starting to break already. I look like crap!

I truly cannot put into words what Jess and Ashley did for me. They were my angels, my heroes, my…read moresaving grace. One month before my wedding, I had a hair and makeup trial at another salon in Breck. It was a nightmare:(. My poor mother weighed our options as I was having a major meltdown. She decided to reach out to Weemala after receiving recommendations from a local wedding planner and a planner associated with Vail Resorts. The owner Jessica was kind and reassuring and confident they could help us out of this crisis. They miraculously were available to do our hair and makeup for my Friday wedding and also fit us in for a trial the day before the wedding. After having such a bad prior experience, I was very nervous. But, Jess reassured us that she only uses people with 10+ years experience on wedding clientele's hair and she herself will be doing our makeup. After Ashley met me at the door of the salon upon our arriving late and hurried (as we had a lot on the agenda for the day before the wedding), I knew I was going to be in good hands. She was cool and confident and made my hair look even better than the picture I had shown her (the same exact one I had shown the previous salon). I felt a HUGE weight off my back disappear. I literally almost cried just from relief and gratitude. Ashley then did the groom's hair trial (he has longer curly hair that can sometimes be difficult to manage). I had a small concern that I couldn't quite put my finger on. She figured out what was bothering before I even could, and then she immediately fixed it. On the actual wedding day, it looked even better than it had the day before. She did my three bridesmaids' hair and our moms' hair - all of which looked amazing. I seriously cannot thank Ashley enough!!! :) Jess is a truly gifted makeup artist. She knows what foundations will look better when photographed, she listened to everything I said, and she trusted her judgment enough to know what will look great on me. And, it did! On the actual wedding day, she did individual fake eye lashes that looked so beautiful and real, I forgot I had them on the next day. My bridesmaids and our moms' makeup looked equally beautiful. It was perfect! It was beautiful and special but, we still looked like ourselves - only enhanced versions of ourselves! Jess was so calm and eager to help us, I will be forever grateful to her and Ashley both. A bonus is that both Jess and Ashley came to our hotel the morning of the wedding. I didn't think it would have be problematic for us to go to a salon, but it actually was way more relaxing and much less stressful having them come to us. It made things run so much smoother. Thank you Weemala for saving us, and thank you for helping to make our wedding wonderful! We both felt awesome, and you were a hugely significant part of that! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!:):):)
