I had been looking for a new hair stylist who would listen and help me decide the best haircut from me. From the moment I called to make an appointment to the final results I was amazed at the friendliness and attention I received. Terri, who makes the appointments, was an absolute sweetheart. She was so accommodating to get me in the same day. Then Stacey, my hairstylist, did an amazing job. Best haircut I've ever had! Shampoo, haircut, and blow dry was so reasonably priced that I was actually surprised. Needless to say I left a good tip. I will definitely go back to The Hair Loft. When I called yesterday, the first opening was in a week. This morning they called back they had a cancellation for today. The salon is clean and professional. Everyone was very friendly. This was a great experience. I just moved to yuma and I had no idea where to turn for a great haircut. I have been growing my hair out for 3 years to donate and so this cut is mildly emotional. I called Sat morning at 10a and I had an apt for 1p with Jackie. She did a great job measuring and braiding my hair and then cutting off the required 10 inches. She then took time to look at the picture I brought and listen to what I wanted. She did a wonderful razor cut and then styled in brilliantly! I was so happy! read more

I called ahead to this salon and made an appointment for my eyebrows and face (peachfuzz) to be wax. I asked the price for the services I had had requested and was told $12 for eyebrows and $9 for the jaw lines. I was also told they do not accept anything but cash. I said that would be fine and had the waxing done. When I went to the front to pay, the woman asked for $48!!! I expressed to her that I had spoken to her earlier when I booked the appointment and she gave me a price of $21 for everything. She then retorted that the price she quoted was for just ONE side of the face! She was wanting to charge me for both sides of my face separately and an additional charge for the chin (which she did not tell me it was additional). I said WHAT IN THE WORLD!! Even with the logic of waxing both sides her math still did not add up! I would never recommend this salon nor would I recommend it for the sheer fact that what they tried to do was dishonest and unethical. read more

Stacy cut my hair yesterday - she did an amazing job. My hair is not easy to do anything with and I am sort of growing out several bad previous haircuts but she seemed to know exactly what I wanted and what I walked out with was better than I could have ever dared to hope for... she actually cut 10 years off how old I looked when I walked in! She was quick, courteous and very knowledgeable and friendly. I also like the salon - it's clean and all the girls are happy and friendly and it's a fun place to go to. Hilda is always checking to make sure everyone is having a pleasant experience and it was just a great visit. I highly recommend the Hair Loft and, especially, Stacy if you have medium length, difficult hair - she's very very good!! read more

The Hair Loft has great stylists. I use Kristi Weaver and she does a fabulous razor cut on my very hard to tame hair. They also have manicures and pedicures. Great thing about the pedicures is they use disposable liners in the pedicure sink! You never have to worry about it being completely sanitary. Comfy chair, too. Everyone is very nice and friendly. They are a full service hair salon, I believe - I'm not sure about extensions. What I do know is that people look great when they are done! This is a brand new location for The Hair Loft but they have a loyal following so it's best to call for an appointment. Hilda is the owner and a great stylist. Give them a try. Prices are very reasonable and I am sure you will be pleased with the results. I believe they have a massage therapist as well (part time). read more

Went to get my hair done here after reading riviews on this place, felt confident that I had made the right choice. If I could I would give this place no stars. I was referred by Hilda to let Virginia do the ombre I had asked for and was a total mistake. She is a sweet girl but does not know how to work with hair. My hair cut was the worst part it was nice blonde on the bottom which she had lifted but the top was a horrible orange color. I can't believe I left the place looking like this. I would not recommend my friend or family to this place. I was told I was going to get a free treatment for my hair since she knew I was not a happy client. It has been 2 weeks since the disaster and nothing. Not a good place. Sorry but you just lost a client read more

I walked into T he Hair Loft about 3 years ago almost in tears as I had just left another nail salon just down the street. I had a full set of acrylics put on and when I walked out it looked like I had 10 fans on my nails. A friend told me about her nail tech. I just walked in (early in the fall when it was not busy) and explained what had happened. She sat me right down and reshaped them and did a beautiful job and I walked out on a smile on my face. She was mortified that a nail tech would do such a poor job, and was not even going to charge me. Of course I insisted she take something. Veronica is very thorough and knows her craft. Horrible place! My hair was fried to the point that my head was bleeding and scabbed. I was in the salon for over 8 hours and left with reeking hair that was both pink and orange. While at the salon they had 2 people blow drying my hair because it took too long for one person.......Was bleached and processed like no other. The owner of the shop left me there with an inexperienced girl and still wanted me to pay over 100.00 for the work. They had to come to my home to "fix" my hair the next day and were very RUDE when I asked for a refund.....DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! read more
