I absolutely love Emily! She is the best stylist I've ever had. My husband and I were both growing out buzz cuts, and she's made every step of the process easier. She's also very nice and fun to talk to. She's not the kind of hairdresser where you have to go in knowing exactly what you want, which is really nice when you're trying to do something like grow out a buzz cut. The salon is much quieter than other salons I've been to. It's also not super dark like others. Just in general, this salon is nice if you have sensory problems. I also don't feel pressured to chat the whole time if I'm not feeling up to it and just want a hair cut. read more

My stylist Stacey is the most incredibly beautiful person I've ever met! I met her when my husband was dying. He told me in his way to do something with my hair! Since he was in hospice, I did what would make him happy. I went into a different shop she used to work at with my stepdaughter. We told Stacey and her coworker what was going on. About 2 weeks later, I took my stepdaughter and myself back to see Stacey again. We had lost my husband. When we arrived for our appointment, Stacey had found the most beautiful cupcakes and wonderful tea for us. Stacey showed us that we were more than clients, we were friends! Stacey cares about your life and you!!! I have followed Stacey everywhere shes gone and support her business now because of her caring and love of clients! Stacey,the owner, was there and made sure to greet me and introduce herself. That spoke volumes to me. My stylist, Ally, was an absolute gem. She was personable, conscientious, thorough, and attentive to the type of cut and color I wanted. She spent time with me and showed me how to style my hair based on a picture I showed her. I flew in for a family function and needed a simple but elegant updo. I found this salon on Yelp and was able to make an appointment easily from the Yelp site. I wasn't sure what I was going to find having made this appointment from 1,000 miles away in the middle of the night. When I walked in, I was immediately confident I had made a great choice. The salon is classy yet unpretentious. It is vibrantly friendly while simultaneously relaxing. And the blowout and classic ponytail by Agnes was perfect. She created what I asked for with some unique enhancement that exceeded my expectation. Being able to attend my function looking polished and refreshed after traveling was extremely satisfying. This place is amazing. I fell in love with Aveda products after a spa day at Tall Grass in Evergreen. I've been looking for an Aveda salon closer to either work or home. After trying two others, I found the Hair Lounge and I will NOT look back! This place is what I would consider a "TRUE" Aveda Salon. You get a scalp massage (I actually got two) and a hand and arm massage with your hair service. I also got an eyelash lift and tint which has basically changed my life. I have blonde eyelashes and the lift and tint makes it look like I'm wearing mascara all the time. I LOVE IT. You can also buy mini spa services while your color processes. I purchased a 10 minute neck and shoulder Chakra balancing massage. OMG. I felt like I was floating while Kaylee massaged my neck and shoulders. It was amazing. And Megan did an incredible job with my hair. It came out looking just like the picture I showed her. I will return! This place is the best. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I'm going to spread the word! They are kind of tucked away out of sight. Oh, and they served me a glass of wine while Megan did my highlights. read more

Seriously the BEST salon I've ever been to! I'm very pickey about who does my hair and Izzy did an amazing job! Conversation never got dull or akward. It was like we've been best friends for years. They called the cops on someone outside they thought was homeless. Did not even approach him to see if he was okay. I went outside to see if the man was okay and let him know the cops were coming.
