The Hall is the event spot at the Live Hotel & Casino and it hosts a variety of things there from concerts to comedy shows to holiday parties and more. We saw a concert there and it was ok but not the best venue for big music fans. The floor is not sloped for concerts so medium and shorter peeps, you are likely out of luck if anyone tall is standing in front of you. Acoustics were rough in the beginning (along with a stoppage for a fire alarm!) but balanced out more towards the middle. Drinks were reasonably priced for a concert venue. Bathroom lines were horrendous for women's and men's. We also attended a NYE party there and it was festive and themed well (Wicked) with food and giveaways and beverages. Band was good and dance floor had people partaking. Probably better venue for comedy shows and casino party events or a more relaxed concert. read more

Eh. My first time to this Hall to see a concert. We parked on the 3rd floor, and walked through the Casino to get to the Hall. Make sure your bag is within size limits. I did see one woman get turned away because her hand bag was too big. My bag was small and No one physically checked my bag. My seat was in Section 103, Row T, Seats 17/18 on the very end. Section 103 was also next to a Bar. This particular bar line was long at times. Drinks were between $13-18 Row 500 is in the back of the hall, and looks like high school bleachers. The middle floor of the Hall are the Mezzanine sections and the very top is for Suite seating. If I were to return, I'd probably would rather sit in the Mezzanine section. All seats are facing forward, with the stage in the middle. We were on the Floor, but as soon as the show started everyone stood up. Half of the show, I had to stand if I wanted to see the performer. There are also big screens on each side of the stage and also on the wall for Sections 4/500 There was also a snack bar to get food Seats had cushion. Very tightly together, of course, you'll have to stand anytime someone comes down the rows The Ushers were amazing, and helped everyone get to their seats and stay in the Sections they purchased. Section, at least from 100 to 200 were blocked off by those Black Live signs you can see in my pictures Sound was just okay. read more

Service: wonderful Ambiance: good I was at this event for A Night with Nick Jonas, and it was a lot of fun. I had early entry. However there was no indication on the website that it would be a mosh pit on the floor where I was to be seated. I have a disability and I can't stand for a long period of times . There was an ADA section, but it was put in the back next to the sound crew. There were also people in the ADA section who would try and steal my chair if I went to go the bathroom. The girls next to me saved my seat for me but that shouldn't have had to happen. There also weren't clear rules on if you could leave your seat to get pictures closer to the stage. I would say next time put the people with ADA needs closer to the exits and closer to the stage. This was the best picture I could get from the ADA seating of A Night with Nick Jonas Over all: 5 stars for great service and Nick's show and his performance 4 stars for the venue and their poorly created ADA section. read more

I had such a great time here, to see the Martin Lawrence comedy show! The venue was beautiful and clean. Seats were easy to find, and the attendants were helpful. The only thing was that I wasn't able to bring my purse in, because it was bigger than 5" x 7". The parking garage was free, which was nice. read more

I surprised my Mom with John Legend tickets for her birthday. This was my first time at this music hall... I remember coming to the casino the week that it opened, and then coming every now and then on special occasions. I never once had an opportunity to check out the music hall. After struggling with parking, we made our way into the casino and asked where the music hall was -- there are no signs for it, so I just asked someone at the security desk. I should've seen it sooner -- there was quite a line to get in, haha. As scary as it looked, it moved pretty quickly! Tickets were scanned, and we made our way inside to the main hallway with bathrooms and paths to our designated section. It was bright and stunning! There was a bar with quite the crowd, but we didn't bother checking it out. We made our way to the main hall, and I was surprised at how big it was. The seating map was indicative, but still, seeing it in person was something else. The first floor had soooo many seats, but then the higher level was massive too. We were pretty close to the stage, and it was such an experience! We could see everything, and the sound was fantastic. The only thing was the exact positioning of one of the speakers (or lights? I forgot now)... but it blocked John whenever he was sitting at the piano. All in all, it was a fantastic show and we really liked the venue. Since we were on the highest level of the garage, getting out was a pain as you can imagine. I didn't want my Mom walking extra far, but if you are up to it, I would advise just parking in the mall lot and walking over... it's not too bad. That night was particularly cold, though. read more

My last concert of the year! Located by Arundel Mills Mall, there's plenty of parking (and it's free!). Before entering The Hall, you have to go through the normal casino security, which was quick and easy - we simply walked through the metal detectors (no bottlenecks). We asked security how to get to The Hall and they kindly gave us directions. The Hall was easy to locate with its giant signage on the wall. Approximately 15 minutes before the show was scheduled to start (8pm showtime; doors opened at 6:30pm), there was still a long queue extending through the casino floors. Fortunately, the line moved quickly and it only took about 5 minutes to get to the front, get our tickets scanned, and get a wristband. Note: This is an AXS venue, so you have to download the AXS app to access your electronic tickets. Before purchasing tickets, the AXS website makes it clear that there is a bag policy that you must comply with to attend the concert - bags cannot be larger than a 5"x7" clutch. This was reiterated as we went through the security line to enter the concert venue. Large banners were present to get to your ticketed section. It's mostly floor seats (think theatre-style). At my event, there was also riser seating for the 400s sections. We were in Section 401 which was pretty centered with the stage! As a short person, I appreciated the elevation of the risers vs. being closer on the floor. Despite being a smaller venue, they had multiple large screens all around the venue. All of the extra screens on the side were probably unnecessary, but they were put to good use by attendees. Sound quality was good. They also had WiFi which was easy to connect to. My only complaints were that people were slow filing into the venue due to the limited entrances into The Hall - well after the show was scheduled to begin, people were still making their way to their seats. The backroom lights actually popped on a few times during the show. This seemed unintentional and was distracting from the show, but it helped the many stragglers find the way to their seats. Drink lines were also long. Food and drink purchased at the venue were allowed to be brought to your seat. Overall, The Hall is a decent venue to catch a show. read more

After seeing a few events-all with varying layouts, I would say overall it's a decent venue, but the quality of the experience is really dependent on which layout is chosen. My experiences varied between: -open standing room only- fantastic- not a bad spot to stand, great acoustics, nice lighting- very enjoyable -stadium seating-rows of 'rented seeming' connected foldable seating-very cramped, super annoying when someone on our row bounced or moved we would feel the vibrations-lots of bad view spots-less enjoyable -folded chair seating- rows and rows created in an U shape to allow for audience intimacy-achieved the goal, allowing us to interact with one another while still seated-very enjoyable Consistent easy parking only a quick walk to get inside; TIP: if you want to eat/drink do it before entering the venue because drinks/food are so overpriced once you're inside, but are reasonable at varying restaurants within the casino Staff is always friendly & welcoming, ready to help & navigate read more

The Hall at Live! - Music Venues Near Me - Hanover, Maryland

First time at the venue & casino, it was very nice in my opinion! Used to live in Las Vegas so I've frequented many casinos and been to shows out there, and I can saw that this was a nice one. Went to see a comedy show, was surprised but glad there were concessions being sold at a reasonable price! Got a LOAD of chili cheese fries for a great price and it filled me up, taste was okay, but it did the job. I was in section 203 I believe and the seats were not bad, but a very tight squeeze for people to walk through if you're already sitting down. Staff was helpful and mainly nice. Would come out here again to see a show, but I'd probably sit closer! read more

The venue is pretty nice. It's large-ish yet small enough that there is no bad seat. There is a bar that runs along one side of the venue. The lines do get pretty long, but as we were entering, there was an opportunity to buy drinks right there at the front and we skipped over that, but in hindsight, it would've been a good idea to get the drinks there instead of waiting in the long lines. read more

Nice and spacious event hall. A place anything could be hosted here. I've been to wrestling matches, musical events, bridal expos and now High School graduation. I will say each event has brought on a very different experience. The layout for graduation wasn't the best you couldn't see anything upfront. The large display monitors didn't have the best picture quality so it was difficult to identify the students. All I can say is wear flats and come super early unless you have assigned or priority seating read more

By modern standards, not a great venue to see a concert. The seats in the floor are mainly obstructed because of the flat floor. The acoustics are not great. I don't recommend this venue. read more

Dave Chapelle was in town this weekend. So, you know what that means...no pictures. The Hall had a nice set up. My experience was probably better than most as we were in the second row. Attendees in the back probably had to depend on the monitors which were far from 4K clarity. I don't know why the security let people walk in the front while the show was going on. There should be some protocol to have them walk around. It was distracting for the comedians who commented on each person who walked by. Drinks were expensive! Two canned craft beers and a rather disappointing old fashion was $32. The bathrooms were clean. The worst part of the night was the dismissal where hundreds of attendees were trying to exit out of a bottleneck corral. If anyone at any time decided to push there would have been deadly consequences. read more

How awful. Service is the worst I have seen. Went to go to a show at Live Hall. Absolutely no signage as to how to get there. Watched four young ladies refused entry because they were under 21. Why does that matter? Because they insist you walk the floor of the casino to enter the concert hall. Not because of the show. But they can buy tickets so they are more than willing to basically steal money because the ticket office is beyond their reach. Restrict purse size with no warning on tickets. No reason why. No cooperation just rudeness from the staff, who lied about where the entrance is. Won't ever see me again. Would rate a zero. Unsafe outside because of lack of sidewalks. Seating sucks. read more

this venue has potential, but the sound quality for the concert was pretty amateur. The seating is terrible. The rows are way too close, if you're in the middle the whole row has to stand up and you have to squeeze between people just to get to the aisle to exit. This has to be some kind of fire code violation. I don't think I would go back to this venue again. read more

Ditto what the first reviewer said. I'll start this review by saying I go to a lot of concerts...inside, outside, big and small and this might be my least favorite venue in the DC/Baltimore area. I didn't realize this venue was brand new because it feels like a big event space that has been converted into a concert space. Like when a cafeteria gets turned into a place for an assembly. Most of the seating is floor seating. This wouldn't be horrible on its own but the stage isn't that much higher than the floor, so you can't easily see the stage while sitting in your seat. The seats are like wedding reception chairs or something. Uncomfortable and wrapped in fabric. No cup holders or armrests. For reference, I was in section floor 6, which is pretty much the center of the floor area. Most of the seating is floor seating except for two small sections to the left and the right of the stage which are kind of like little balcony areas, and the very back of the room which looked kind of like bleachers from afar. I attended the Jill Scott concert here on Valentine's day and for the first few songs all three displays on the stage and the others in the back of the room showed her random background images instead of showing a close up of her/the stage. Eventually they did show her, but the video quality wasn't that great. Not sure if it was the screen size or what. And then completing the horrible venue experience was the sound. Not sure if I was just in a weird sound pocket, but the sound quality was pretty mediocre. (These people made Jill Scott sound mediocre y'all!) As I was leaving I realized it's probably because the speakers are mostly on the sides of the room so maybe the people on the edges had a different sound experience than I did. I live in between DC and Baltimore venues so sometimes I pick Baltimore if the tickets are better/cheaper but it would have to be someone pretty exclusive to get me to come see a show here ever again. read more

The seats are like sitting on 2x4s, real ass breakers. The seating is not elevated and shows are not vaccine mandated. I saw many people not following the mask mandate or wearing masks incorrectly. Save your money and go to a real hall read more

Great experience when we saw Bill Burr. The venue was beautiful, spacious, and lively. The staff were so kind and easy approaching. Seats could of been a little more comfortable, but that didn't even bother me. Audio was pretty could as we sat in the center about 9 rows away from the stage. Overall great experience! Went to see Air Supply last night 3/11. The concert was INCREDIBLE. We brought our 16 year old son for his first concert ever. However, fair warning to people. I bought the tickets on AXS. Nowhere did it say he had to be 21 to enter the facility. We made reservations for dinner prior to the show at the place. We were stopped from entering by security because my son was 16. At first we were told he couldn't attend the show. Then we were guided though a maze, a parking garage and other mysterious hallways to get to the venue. We add to order food and eat it in the Starbucks area. (We frequent Atlantic City often and NEVER experienced this) We went to the concert which again was incredible. Then it was time to leave. We were sent with the flow of people only to be turned around again after the only way out was the Casino. Again a Byzantine trip through God knows where to be able to leave. I would NEVER brought him here had we known. His first concert ever and it was not the experience he had hoped for. Buyer beware. read more
