I love the new and improved hall. It is beautiful. I love the decor, lighting and acoustics. I always have a good time. I can't wait until my next show.

After seeing a few events-all with varying layouts, I would say overall it's a decent venue, but the quality of the experience is really dependent on which layout is chosen. My experiences varied between: -open standing room only- fantastic- not a bad spot to stand, great acoustics, nice lighting- very enjoyable -stadium seating-rows of 'rented seeming' connected foldable seating-very cramped, super annoying when someone on our row bounced or moved we would feel the vibrations-lots of bad view spots-less enjoyable -folded chair seating- rows and rows created in an U shape to allow for audience intimacy-achieved the goal, allowing us to interact with one another while still seated-very enjoyable Consistent easy parking only a quick walk to get inside; TIP: if you want to eat/drink do it before entering the venue because drinks/food are so overpriced once you're inside, but are reasonable at varying restaurants within the casino Staff is always friendly & welcoming, ready to help & navigate

The venue is pretty nice. It's large-ish yet small enough that there is no bad seat. There is a bar that runs along one side of the venue. The lines do get pretty long, but as we were entering, there was an opportunity to buy drinks right there at the front and we skipped over that, but in hindsight, it would've been a good idea to get the drinks there instead of waiting in the long lines.

So, I got to check out the grounds around the main building before the bride and groom arrived for rehearsal. They have a wonderful wandering Garden with Fountains and water features. I could sit by a loud water feature for hours. The wedding was in the garden, but the facility had prepared the Veranda in case the rain didn't clear up. In addition to the new main structure, they have Historical buildings and Summer camps.

First you walk from the parking lot to the old barn, you can see it's located by the entrance roadside, and once you get there, walk down the trail, and keep going. You'll be in sort of intersection on your left but we won't turn left here, keep walking and you'll see a walking path *watch on your right with a (ruined) stone gate alike. Walk across the stone gate, turn left and walk for around 10-15 foot steps and turn right, and keep walking until you'll see a sign of small pond on your left, then you're on the right path. You can walk closer to the pond through the short path on your left (that's what we did) and watched any movement around the water, and we found a turtle from here! Or, you can continue walking down the previous path until you see a bridge on your left. From the bridge, you'll see the biggest beaver dam was created along the water line. How cool is that? Another coolest thing was, we bumped into THE BEAVER!! Aaaahhhh!?! Yeeessss!?! We explored and walked back to the trail and found wineberries patch and mulbery tree, so we stopped there and enjoy the berries! *check your left while walking up the hill. Along the walk, we also found A Story Walk, a Demonstration Garden next to Nature Play Scene, a sleeping Eastern Screech Owl, goats house and chickens house. That's a wrap for our good hike today! It was good since the ground was dry and allowed us to explore more around the wetlands 10520 Old Frederick Rd, Woodstock, MD 21163 Daily 9AM-3PM, Sunday Closed inside the Gudelesky Environmental Education Center, with water fountains next to it. some stone trails/path in Clark Honor Garden are accessible both for strollers and wheelchairs. With that said, this place is not for everyone. Sadly it was frustrating alone dealing with the parking situation. I parked so far away! Next, there was a band playing music, cool, but don't know any of their songs or the covers they were doing. The other room was 100% line dancing that if you didn't know it, you stayed off the dance floor and stand in place. There's a bull riding area that I saw a professional bull rider do tricks and that was cool and they intimidating. The drinks were really good and not overpriced! Star for that! And finally I just didn't have fun and I'm actually a dancer. I think you either love it or hate it. I didn't hate it, but I probably wouldn't come back again.

We love traveling to different line dancing communities, experiencing new places, and connecting with people through dancing. That's what makes situations like this so upsetting. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected, regardless of their religion or appearance. The line dance world is a very connected community, and experiences like this naturally get talked about. I just hope this establishment reflects on the kind of environment they want to create moving forward, because this was deeply disappointing to hear about and unacceptable.
