Egyptian-styled Theater, up to 24 new films, a few subtitled Spanish, Hindi, Telugu, others. Comfy seats. Lots of parking. We wanted a cool dark midday refuge in hot weather (Jun 2026), and we like this theater at Arundel Mills Mall southwest of Baltimore for the many movies and movie times, the comfy seats, and the plentiful parking. It was easy to purchase and select seats through their app, under $9 per person midday on a weekday! We strolled under the bright fun Egyptian-styled columns past statues and décor. With the app purchase, we skipped the lobby ticket kiosk and the (short) ticket-window lines, straight in to get our QR code scanned. Easy peasy. The app seemed to say we could have gotten our food and drinks delivered to our seats! But we just walked through and quickly chose hotdogs, among the various sandwiches and pizza. We shared some candy. The popcorn smelled fresh, and the beverages are huge, but we kept it down to $10 per person. The seats in our theater were cushy and leather-like, and they reclined using a button on the right arm! Each had a little tray-table attached. This is the life! Of course, there were at least 15min of previews. We had center seats, close to the front to feel immersed. I'll admit that the film we chose was kind of silly, which is what comes of choosing whatever started closest to our arrival time :-) Cinemark Egyptian is a nice clean theater with a fun décor. Midday weekday prices were not bad, if you go easy on the refreshments. Hooray for Hollywood, and at this theater, and hooray for subtitled Bollywood and Cine Mexicano, too! read more

Stop letting people buy items thats ment to be released on day of the movie so people will stop scalping and reselling. This is the first day of the top gun release and they dont have any of the top gun helmets. One of the workers said, they sold out a few days ago. Ummm, a few days ago, the movie wasn't even released. Today is the released date, and yall already freaking sold out. This is what pisses people off. These helmets are for this movie on THIS RELEASE day NOT a few days before the movie is even released. Also, absolutely non of the ice machines are filled with ice. Today is Wednesday and its only 3:40 pm. There is only a couple people here. The soda fountain drinks are flat (only tried rootbeer, and fanta) grabbed a bottle drink instead. The manager/supperviser did give me the bottle drin on the house. Still pissed about them letting all the TG helmets sell out before the movie is even released. My son was excited for this trip to the movies because he loves TG and was excited to get the helmets. Way to go egyptian 24 yall really suck. We'll, after checking the receipt, I still got charged for the drink, lol. Yay me!! Let's keep the good times going gotta love these prices $6 bottle and $13 small pizza. read more

Egyptian themed movie theater in the Arundel Mills mall. They have self service or a box office for tickets, as well as online options. Their snack section is a bit confusing and I stood in a line for a soda only to be told the drinks were self serve. The inside of the movie theater itself was pretty standard with leather reclining seats. One perk I loved is that the speakers weren't obnoxiously loud. I feel like that can be a common issue with theaters to the point I need to bring earplugs sometimes. But this time I sat right next to a speaker and wasn't uncomfortable with the noise level at all. About 3/4 of the way through the movie, a worker came in and told everyone they needed to leave due to an active emergency situation, so we walked out the back door with everyone else and had to leave. They wouldn't tell us if it was a shooter or not, but it was later confirmed that there was an incident involving a gun. Pretty scary, but I'm glad they were able to get us out a back door and safely to our cars. We weren't issued a refund or anything, but the emergency situation takes precedent over a measly $15 movie ticket. read more

"Back in the day" this was the movie theater to go to. Many years later it's still nice! I just don't go to the movies as much. Saw Captain America earlier this year with some friends! More recently, saw an advanced screening of Megan 2.0 - highly recommend going to see this when it comes out in a few days! The theater is big. Restrooms are decent. Parking here isn't the best! Hey friends! I came here for an advanced screening of M3GAN 2.0. I've been coming to this theater since elementary school, so nostalgic lol. Besides the recliner seats, it hasn't changed much and I love that. Staff is usually friendly. The food menu is typical, popcorn, nachos, mini pizzas, tenders, candy, slushees, soda, etc. Their popcorn is really good. It's usually popped fresh. The theater was clean. My only distaste is that the seats recline way less compared to other theaters. Still feels like you're sitting up straight lol. I'll continue to come here for the nostalgia. I feel like it's time to update my review. It's been ten years since my last one. I am a movie fanatic. This has always been my favorite theater. I've been going so long that I have a platinum membership. With the movie rewards. Definitely worth it. You pay a yearly fee. Or monthly. I get points for every ticket purchased. I receive two free tickets a month and save 25% discount on concessions. With no online fees. You might want to consider the rewards membership. Now I do have to add that it's time for the seats to be updated in all of the theaters. My footrest was leaning sideways. On one of my visits. On another visit while in one of the theaters my table was broken. Very inconvenient when you have a lot of food. The seats are old and worn. Definitely time for updating. Even if it's one theater at a time. I do like the food at the concession stand. The chicken wings being one of my favorites. I do enjoy my membership. So I will remain a member but would enjoy the movie more if they would consider updating the seats. I do enjoy the app. That's how I book all my tickets. It's very convenient and I love it. My go to cinemark theatre, This place has good seating, plenty of screens/times, and easy to get to. There's never an issue with parking as it is in the arundel mills mall. Ticket office and self serve kiosks made getting tickets easy but recommend the app which makes it even easier and faster. The concessions stand is fast and usually has a good selection of treats. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms rooms are clean and well maintained which is nice. Love the stadium seating with the recliners seats which makes seating comfortable. read more

My family and I come here often and usually have a good experience. My issue with my most recent experience is the customer service. I went to the movies earlier today and immediately noticed a red light/dot consistently projecting from the screen. I let one of their staff know what was going on at the beginning of the movie and the staffer doesn't seem to really care but then radios somebody. I continue back to the movie and the red dot remains for the entire duration. I then go to customer service to address the issue again and to see if anything can be done for my experience... and I am completely blown off and told that there was nothing they can do. Paying $70 for movie tickets for an obstructed view is not ideal and cannot believe how I was not compensated for the experience. The reactions I received felt like "Oh well, that's the way it is sometimes" at the very least I felt like we should have been offered another viewing for a better experience. Back in the day, I would visit this place often. Even in my early 20s, I worked concession. The set up for concession now is chaotic especially when it's busy. I don't go to the movies regularly anymore so when I venture out, I'm hoping for an enjoyable experience. After ticketing, concessions is the next place you go before finding your seats. Because there was so many people trying to get the same thing, I felt rushed to know what I wanted to get. Bad thing was I didn't know what kind of combos they have cause the signed are blocked when you arrive to the popcorn station. Chaotic so I ended up overspending on singular items. Sigh. The sound quality, picture quality, screen size, and theater chairs are all top notch. That is about where the positives end. The reason for the one start rating is because despite the theater having a solid infrastructure, the staff and environment render it all unenjoyable. Firstly, the crowds are horrible. Kids are loud and talk throughout the entire movie, which it's a mall. That comes with the territory. Unfortunately management does nothing to step in and stop this. Even worse, if you are lucky enough to find a theater where the patrons are quiet, the unprofessional staff will come in to the theater in groups, stomp up the stairs and walk up to girls and flirt while the movie is playing. They continued to come in and out of the theater, standing in the corner on the phones texting on their bright screens and stomping all over the place.. I wish I could say this kind of experience is a one off, but it's happened multiple times. When calling the theater, I had the displeasure of speaking with Lisa, who was passive aggressive. She asked which department I needed to speak to but was annoyed that I needed her to tell me which departments there were. Sorry Lisa. My apologies for not automatically knowing the staffing tree of your movie theater. I will end on a positive. After the rude receptionist --Lisa -- transferred me I spoke with the manager Greg, who seemed to be the only person in the building with any customer service training. He was immediately kind and helpful and quick to an address concerns. If I was Cinemark, I would give Mark a raise and clean house otherwise. read more

My daughter and I went last week to see a screening of Moana 2 and Cinemark did not disappoint. I love the iconic Egyptian theme that's such a Maryland staple and they seemed to upgrade the theatre since the last time we were there. They now have motorized reclining seats and swivel cup holders with a tray for your food. The bathrooms were spacious and clean too. The sound in the theatre was great. I brought earplugs since a lot of theaters are too loud, but I didn't end up needing them! I felt like the noise level was cinematic but not overwhelming. My kids loved the decor in here! It is very Egyptian when you walk in. There is a sphinx head. The staff was really nice and helpful. I saw them cleaning up a lot which was reassuring. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends so coming on off times might be better. read more

Understaff led to the concessions stands having long lines. Even if you arrived early which we did the lines were crazy long we didn't even grab any snacks. The untidy floors in the concession area made you not want to eat anything too.. Customer service office was closed couldn't even get my refund for my ticket. Dbox is a nice experience however if you have vertigo this may not be the best option for you for there is some chair movement. The faux leather needs to be replaced and theaters need to be thoroughly cleaned in between viewings. Our chairs had tons of popcorn sticky just urghhhh. Glad I walked with wipes. Sheesh. This theater has gone downhill. I came tonight for a 7 PM special event, a Sunday night on a three day weekend, and there was only half the concession stand open with minimal staff. Needless to say it was a nightmare: they were running out of everything from popcorn to ice and everything in between. It literally took close to 25 minutes to get through the line and into my theater. Thankfully I was seeing a sporting event that had a pre-show, but if I was seeing a movie I would have missed the entire first act. With the cost of going to the movies nowadays, you would think a massive multiplex like this one would know better. Now... you could be saying, "Wow -- way to sound like a Karen. Just show up early if you're worried about the line at concessions. Why the negative review." And normally I'd agree, but having worked at a movie theater like 15 years ago, I know you're supposed to put most of your manpower into your weekend. And when you have an entire backup concession stand and you're slammed, you open it up to make things go faster (even though it means more cleanup at the end of the night). This was amateur hour at its finest and a sobering reminder of why I don't really come to this theater anymore unless I really have to. The seats reclined and have little desk and cup holders for your stuff it's very chill . There are plenty of entrance ways to the movies! And when you come out it's plenty of places to go or eat at. My family & I chose Cinemark to watch Black Panther in. I used to love this theater when it first opened. A lot of changes have been made since then, both good and bad. So the good, they have these really cool seats that react with the movie. Black Panther, a lot of action and fighting, so the chair would shake and move with every movement you saw on screen. I believe there's a way to adjust the sensitivity of your chair as well if it is too much. Bathrooms were clean surprisingly so that's good. Bad is the cleanliness. There was popcorn and stuff in my chair when I got there. Almost like no one is going around in between movies to tidy up. Overall it's decent. read more

Loved it. Had a great time going to see Wakanda II. Super cool sculptures in line with the Egyptian theme. Well stocked concession area. Plush recliners and roomy comfortable seating with trays and cup holders. Employees were friendly. Lines moved along really fast. Ample parking as the location is at Arundel Mills Mall. Only complaint here is that for some odd reason trash cans were removed from our theater before the movie ended so when we went to throw out the trash there was trash all on the counter and floor. Gross. We had to carry our trash and walk around to find a trash can since we chose not to throw it on the floor like other patrons. read more

I recently went to see a movie at this theater and was immediately disgusted by the condition of the seats in Screening Room 14. Although it's preselected seating, I walked through 4 rows, and all of the seats in Screening Room14 were in horrible condition and need new upholstery. There were a few seats that had partial new upholstery, but the majority of the seats were in this nasty and disgusting condition. I generally don't go to the movies primarily due to nasty, unsanitary, and unsatisfactory conditions at the theater, along with the outrageous prices at the food concession. This Screening Room should have been closed and not available for use by the public due to the necessary repairs. read more

I haven't been to this movie theater in YEARS! They have really changed this place majorly. My family and I went to see Jurassic World on opening night a few weeks ago. We purchased our tickets online and selected the seats of our choosing. The theater was fairly clean, all though the floor underneath my seat was sticky. The seats are comfortable. The most important aspect to a movie theater in my opinion is that the seats are comfortable. At this Cinemark location the seats are very comfortable. They are leather and recline. There is plenty of space between each row so it does not feel like you are being packed in. There is plenty of parking outside of the theater. I took off a star because no refills on drinks or popcorn. The concession area in general needed some work. More options for food would be nice. read more

This theater has gone down hill in the past 6 months. The concession area is always disgusting, the men's restroom reeks of urine and us unclean, they never have butter in the dispensers. Easy fixes clean up the place, do concessions how all movie theaters did it in the past and allow refills of drinks. As a cinemark member I'll definitely be coming less than normal.
