He misrepresented the number of people he had working for him and he brought unlicensed contractors into the job. In no way can I ever recommend Manny Pucha and/or Puchas carpentry.

I contacted Jaime to discuss re-siding our house (with cedar siding). He was helpful every step of the way, from selecting the most aesthetically-pleasing design, to selecting the best materials, to the installation itself, to the sealing of the wood once it was installed. The job was so well done that we then asked Jaime to help us redesign our deck-railing and outdoor-staircase-railing, too. Not only was all of the work Jaime and his team did extremely high-quality, but it was done on budget, and on time. Communication with Jaime was excellent at all times, and he was great to collaborate with. My vision of how things should look was definitely enhanced talking each project through and collaborating with Jaime. Jaime and his crew were consummately professional, and every person Jaime brought in to help with a project was equally professional, polite and efficient. In addition to his professional excellence, Jaime also happens to be an incredibly nice person. They don't prep the area they are working in meaning sealing off area so not to Cassie undo mess in other areas. 2. They ripped up our old floors took my broom and dust pan without asking to sweep debris because they did not come with one. 3. The work order included patching which they didn't come prepared for and made excuses. 4. When they did the patching, they mixed the cement on the floor without cleaning the debris. So it was a lumpy mess and had to call management to come fix. 5. I watched them take bring floors and no padding, they took up the old padding and put it to the side. Since it was moldy I put it in a bag not wanting it in the air in my apartment. I learned they planned to reuse it when they attempted to lay floors in an other area of my apartment. I stopped them they told me that didn't have the supplies. I called and they got the padding while they complained in Spanish about how difficult I was and called me names. 6. I believe out of spite they did a poor job.

They have a…read morelarge selection , have recently modernized the store with a new layout, and for the most part have friendly and knowledgeable staff. The prices are higher than Home Depot, but it's convenient not having the hour drive to Riverhead. They also have a design and showroom with much of the options on display for you to see before buying. They also offer installation on things ranging from front doors to ceiling fans.
