I love Handmade Showroom! I make it a point to stop here every time I'm in Seattle and I always find a gift for someone here and my cats always get a little something. They have a great cat/dog toy section! The store features art and goods from local artists and there's so much cute stuff. I can easily spend 15-20 minutes perusing all the goods. I found the employees to be lovely whenever I visited. They sometimes would tell me about an artist if I'm looking at their wares and I love hearing more detail about things but I never felt pressure to buy anything.  Also they sell anything under the sun here from jewelry to vases to clothes to things for kids and babies. Great variety. I found a random darling egg sticker for my friend who loves eggs and my friend found these cool mushroom magnets for her sister who loves mushrooms. See, this store is amazing!  Pacific Place is a shell of its former self. A lot of the stores have closed and it seems like most people who do come here are coming to eat at Din Tai Fung or HaiDiLao but if you're in this mall make sure to stop by the 3rd floor and check it out! Highly recommend it! There's something for everyone. What a great shop. I don't understand this shopping center - but it has some great shops and this is one of them. Please support them. They have great local handmade wares for all ages and all personalities. Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was thrilled at the selection, that includes pet and children's as well as home decor, food, clothes, jewelry, you name it. I purchased a wonderful tea towel printed with a map of Puget Sound and an adorable sloth figurine - I then came home and purchased a small block art piece from their website that I was still craving. There is no end to what you can find to entice you or to give to a friend or relative from this store. read more

The customer service at this store is phenomenal. My girlfriend was in Seattle recently and bought several shirts for me. Since I wasn't there to see the sizes, she bought the sizes that she thought would fit me best. Unfortunately, I had a few shirts that was a tight fit on me. So I sent them an E-mail asking if I could ship them four shirts in exchange for a larger size, and they responded the next day telling me that should be no problem. The days before I was ready to ship the items out, I had noticed that one of the shirt that I was keeping was a bit tighter than I realized (after wash & dry). I included that shirt with the other items for exchange in the shipment telling them what had happened & with no tag (Even though it did state no return or exchange if worn or no tags) and they were able to happily exchanged it for me anyways I will definitely visit and shop here when I visit Seattle. read more

Still loving this spot for fun plant shopping in Pacific Place! I came back recently when we stopped at PP and I snagged a variegated elephant food plant, and a N'Joy pothos plant that I'm super jazzed about! Both plants were about $25 each or less. And they were packed up perfectly safe in a bag, which was way easier to manage than any box. I'm happy to see that this has improved. Lastly, I wanted to clear up that the plants here are actually from an Urban Plant Shop pop-up/partnership with The Handmade Showroom. I messaged the owner about it and found out it will be there through September now, which is super cool! I honestly hope it's a lasting relationship, since I told her I'd visit at least once a week for plants if so, haha. I have a plant addiction, so... ;D read more

I am in love with everything in this store! We were walking around Pacific Place, and we had no idea The Handmade Showroom existed 'til we saw the cute shop from the escalators. It's definitely a MUST visit for gifts! I absolutely love that there's a showroom of items that are locally-made from artists around the Seattle area. The items are unique, quirky and fun! I'm talking about pins that say, "Plant Killer" or plush toys of bats that when you open their wings they're wearing PJs! These eccentric items are truly one-of-a-kind, and the best part is that they're made from locals! Gotta support and love that. Staff was sooo friendly when we visited. You can tell they share such enthusiasm for the items sold here and enjoy working here. They were also very knowledgeable about all of the different items, the artists and where we can find the same products in Pike Place Market or online through the artist's site. I definitely am coming back here to get some gift items! There's certainly a few things, if not all, that'll make you smile when you see them in this showroom! read more

I visited this cute little store and was so pleased with the service. Everyone was very helpful with suggestions and I found the perfect gifts. Yes it's a bit pricey but the offerings are unique. The littles that I purchased gifts for were so happy. Their eyes lit up and they played with them right away. I got some big hugs too so I knew I made the right choice. read more

As locals, we haven't been into Pacific Place much since the remodel but we were so happy to stumble across this shop! All of the employees were incredibly helpful and kind but Silas was especially personable and knowledgeable. My friends and I couldn't stop mentioning how genuine and kind he was for the rest of the evening, he really made our day! I really don't ever review retail places but it was so refreshing to find somewhere unique and actually reasonably priced downtown. We will definitely be back, especially for holiday shopping! I was innocently crossing the skybridge to Nordstrom, when I saw a leopard print cat orb. How did a woman such as myself make it through life thus far without one of those? I never have to answer that question another day. They have a well curated set of Seattle-Etsy, though it is more pet supply focused than usual and there aren't a lot of souvenirs, per se. A lot of brands (like the super soft basics by Texture Clothing, for example) are more prized by locals than suitable plunder for out of towners. The store is a nicely arranged variety of packed-to-the-gills and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I don't think I saw one jewelry item break $100. If you are a fan of whimsical sea creatures on organic t-shirts, well, you've found your home in the world. read more

I love love love this store. It is permanently on my must-visit list when I start my Christmas shopping. The people running it are SO NICE and super helpful. The collection of items for sale is wonderfully curated. I love buying from local artisans and the recipients of the gifts are always impressed and very happy. It's fun to give gifts that people can't get anywhere else. Prices can be a little high, but totally worth it for handmade items.
