Several other electrical companies charged over $100 just to come out and do an estimate before even doing any work - I found this to be ridiculous and decided to go with "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." I can tell you right away that I made a solid decision as that Jim did a great job from the gecko! He was very responsive, professional and explained everything he is going to do over the phone so that I felt comfortable with choosing him as a professional. When he arrived, he was very respectful to the property. He did not mind me watching him install the electrical outlets in my home and explain how the whole system works. Jim did a fantastic job of eliminating one of my existing electrical outlets and moving it up. He also installed a new GFI outlet in my bathroom so that I can hook up my beloved Japan-style bidet toilet. The inspector told us the roof was fine but we weren't sure so we had a roofer look at it and he told us it need to be replaced right away and would cost $6000. That was the difference between us buying the house and walking away. Overall the inspector seemed more interested in covering his own back then giving us legit answers. And they have a ton of follow up calls which is annoying.

So I looked up Carpenters/cabinet makers on my "nearme" app on the iphone and found Snitz Creek Cabinet Shop just 30 miles away. It was friday afternoon, so i thought it would be a longshot, but they said come on in. They fixed and mounted it in less than 2 hours. It was an excellent job, they replaced the cheap particle board with solid maple with finished edges and it matched the other cabinets.They were also so reasonably priced that we gave the carpenter a tip.
