I would seriously re-consider if you are considering using the Harley Medical Group in Cardiff for any consultatio or cosmetic intervention. The nurses are nothing short of trained sales people who are extremely eager to take a dnon-refundable deposit from you without advising that it is actually non-refundable. I was rail-roaded into signing on the dotted line at my very first vsit and when I contacted them a week later to say I was not happy they refused a refund of my deposit and still tried tocoerce me into having surgery. They apparently pride themselves on being an ethical organisation - this couldn't be any further from the truth - Sharks would be better suited to describe them!!! read more

Had a terrible experience with this clinic when I had rhinoplasty with them, through the Cardiff office. I was terribly unhappy with the results and the surgeon LAUGHED at my concerns. I was given wrong information about the location in London. The surgeon missed appointments. The staff were unhelpful. The biggest mistake I have ever done in my life. I signed up for 8 treatments for laser hair removal for face, half arms and underarms, that's a lot of money that the nurses took from me on my first visit. I missed one appointment due to death in the family and they refused to reschedule that appointment for me, no refund either. The nurses are inconsiderate if you are screaming in pain, they don't give you a break to rest of the part of skin that is burning in pain, they just carry on wanting to get the job done. They don't care if you get the best result they just want your money! Unprofessional, unskilled staff! I have been left with patches on my skin with untreated hair, few months on I am where I was before the treatment, no reduction in hair at all because the nurses didn't do their job properly. I have been going to HMG in Cardiff for a few years now and had laser hair removal on my face which was the best treatment I have ever had, and i've had a few! I was nervous because I have experienced really painful treatments but this was painless, REALLY they use a machine which blows cold air onto the treatment area so you don't feel it. it was also the most effective treatment I've had. I've also had laser vein treatment on my legs which is a bit painful but worth having.(I sang a random song to myself throughout) I was well aware that I would need more than one treatment but there was never any pressure on me to book more. All the staff are lovely and friendly, they explain clearly and advise you on all aspects of your procedure. I have had to cancel on short notice and never penalised for it and if they have to cancel they offer compensation of some kind. (eg. extra treatment) . I have taken my sister here and she agrees with me I have also recommended and had good feed back. Give them a try. read more

I am SO sorry I recommended two friends to go there (they had a special on botox) because I thought it was better to go with a big name than a small name. All 3 of us were gutted with the filler. For mine they didnt' specify on purpose that i need to do at least 3 treatments to have effect. I had budgeted 200 quid not 600 ! they only told me on the day of the treatment which I had to go with because i had no other option and I wanted it done before a special occasion. For my two friends they had done botox elsewhere and they said it was cheaper and better. read more
