Working from the Haven co-working space in Bend is an absolute joy. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is incredible. I am always more productive when I go there, sit with my coffee and laptop, and overlook the Deschutes River. The view is spectacular, and the space is designed to meet all your working needs (reservable conference rooms and chat rooms, a variety of spaced out standing and seating areas, large monitors and adaptors, etc). Their COVID practices have been smart and I feel safe being there. My working from home situation was untenable (tiny apartment, unreliable wifi) and joining the Haven has been an absolute game changer for both my productivity and peace of mind. The large coworking spaces and views of the river sold me but it's the community that really makes The Haven special. Every nook and cranny of the space is insta-worthy, which makes me feel like I'm at a resort and just happen to be getting work done. The Deschutes River is just a few steps away so when the weather's warm I enjoy walking to a food truck for lunch. The friendly staff have a genuine interest in making everyone feel welcome and they foster an inclusive environment where freelancers, entrepreneurs and remote workers can thrive. I recently moved to Bend (like so many of us) and scoured the local shared workspaces. Haven Coworking immediately bubbled up to the top. A great atmosphere with a "cool" vibe, well maintained and clean, a great west side location, and exceptional views. And since I'm there to work, its also worth noting that the internet is exceptionally fast and there are plenty of private spaces for taking misc calls throughout the day. read more
