Services include: 24/7 staffed entrance gate, community water via wells and tanks, maintenance of ditches/culverts/hydrants/roads and facilities, planned recreation activities for all age groups from children to seniors, public safety officers on duty to enforce motor vehicle laws and respond to emergencies, an excellent Volunteer Fire Department and paid County Ambulance service inside the community for very fast response. Amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center, indoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, game room, cafe and auditorium. Also two outdoor pools, tennis/handball/pickleball and bocce courts, picnic pavilions, playground, fitness trail, youth center, library, hiking trails, 3 lakes with docks and boat racks and multiple ponds suitable for fishing. The equipment is not always cleaned when someone is done using it. The members know there are paper towels and sanitary spray but they don't always use it. The gym area seems to be cleaner than the bathrooms and locker rooms. I like how they offer classes to members and non members for different exercises like aerobics, Zumba, etc. They have a gym on the main level of the building for people to use if they want to play basketball but only when there are no classes going on in there.

The hiking trails are well marked and there is plenty of free parking. There is a glass museum that is top rated and their gift shop has many interesting items for sale. If you happen to catch Kurt there, he will tell you all about the history of the glass industry in Wayne County. This is a well-done museum and shop with the walking trails - this is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
