The cupcake bouquets are made to order and come in a variety of flowers and colors. Bouquets come in 7, 12, 14, 19, 24 cupcakes. Three weeks ahead of the date of the party, I called and placed an order with Susan, owner of Awesome Sweets Bakery. Susan walked me through the flavors and fillings of the cupcakes and the colors. I chose 7 cupcakes-3 Red Velvet filled with Chocolate Mousse and 4 Funfetti filled with Strawberry Buttercream and for colors-blue, yellow, white, and pink. Credit card information was also taken when I placed my order. It was very easy to work with Susan. On the day of the party, I went to pick up the cupcake bouquets and they all looked so beautiful. It was stored in a tall box and was easy to transport. I can tell so much attention to detail and hard work went into piping the flower petals. The cupcakes were moist and icing wasn't overly sweet. The love moves at a decent pace. Here finally my turn and I honestly had no clue what to expect or what they even really sold but I was hoping they had anything that contained ham and cheese and they did, Brad with ham and cheese for $3.50 I was surprised that was all. The bread was actually good and tasted fresh they only concern which was a big one for me was that there was hardly any ham and cheese in it and I mean like barely none. That's saying a lot because I have sampled many, many croissants. The Yum roll was melt-in-your- mouth delicious with the perfect balance of sweet with a hint of salt, crunchy around the edges and topped with a delightful creamy drizzle of caramel. The plain croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The almond square was pure heaven with a deep almond flavored frangipane surrounded by crunchy layers. The bakery itself is really cute. I used to work a few blocks away and I wish this breakfast spot was there before because wow! This place is super cute and clean!!! The owner is just so lovely and was so much fun to chat with. We had tasty iced coffees and she made mine with almond milk AND they have dairy free whipped cream (a dream come true)! They make their own whipped cream though and it looked BOMB! We split French toast and home fries and she went above and beyond to put it on two separate plates for us! And added fruit! They make their own hot sauce too which I loved.
