Miguel and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and thorough throughout the process. Dr Chui's non-invasive approach was exactly what I needed, and I'm thrilled to report that the frequency of my tension headaches has significantly decreased, which was my biggest concern. The included red light panel has also provided neck tension relief that chiropractors and masseuses could never solve, and clicking is far reduced. Before and after CT scans clearly showed how the orthotic opened more space in my jaw joint. That said, there are some things to know going in. First, this treatment is expensive and almost certainly not covered by insurance. Second, expect to be presented with additional procedures like turbinate reduction and be prepared to decline if they don't feel necessary to you. Third and most importantly: my bite changed after treatment, and I wasn't expecting this. The clinic offered bite reconstruction or suggested I see an orthodontist, but also warned me about the orthodontist route since the jaw shift is so specific and a traditional orthodontist might not understand it. I wish the clinic could partner with an orthodontist familiar with TMJ cases, or at least explain this possibility upfront. Finally, I would have appreciated more transparency at the beginning about treatment costs and which procedures would likely be recommended. Despite these frustrations, I'm genuinely grateful I did this treatment rather than waiting and risking surgical intervention. The improvement in my daily quality of life has been significant. Just go in with realistic expectations and clear questions about your individual treatment plan and costs.

I have filed fraud reports with blue shield network, as well as filing report to California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (No Surprises Act enforcement). Because of what they put me through, I would rather have no primary doctor and mange my own health from now on, than using one medical ever again.

When the printout was coming out of the machine my sales person said I had scoliosis. I wasn't totally straight on the table because I wasn't asked to. Nobody else has ever diagnosed me with this condition. So much for not diagnosing disease. She then took me to the cubicle of secrecy to tell me about a 24/7 availability of her to help me achieve my health goal of muscle gain. The only hands on portion is the monthly dexa scan. The services includes monthly scans and some set exercises you do on your own. Nobody who actually trains with you. Just a list of trainings for you to do solo. I'll pass. But I hope they will give me a high quality image of my dexa so I can submit to my doctor's office as a baseline.

As a mother of three young children, it is challenging to coordinate time away for medical appointments, and I was disappointed that there was no effort to accommodate or offer a same-day reschedule. The explanation was framed as a clinical safety issue rather than a scheduling limitation. A few weeks later, I underwent the same procedure at on medics under very similar timing circumstances, and the visit was completed without issue. That inconsistency left me questioning whether the initial denial was truly about safety or about scheduling being presented as a medical concern. The experience undermined my trust. Patients deserve clear, transparent communication when appointments cannot be accommodated.

It was refreshing to see that he had read about 5 years of my medical records before I walked in. So we hit the ground running, and got through everything on my list and his in about 45 minutes time, which included him giving me some travel shots, sending a prescription to my pharmacy, and sending me to the lab in the One Medical Office to draw some blood. It was the most efficient doctor visit ever. Dr Bowden has a perfect doctor/patient manner. He listens incredibly well, and he had an answer at the ready for all my questions and health concerns. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He said he is new to SF. But no doubt, he will fill his patient panel quickly once word of mouth starts. So if you are on the market for a new primary, get in there ;-)

The nurse assigned to me appeared disengaged, as if completing tasks with minimal effort. I was repeatedly given instructions by nurses that were wrong or conflicted with orders the doctor had entered into the patient portal. I was told to get blood tests that I didn't need because I was on another medication. I wasn't told about a certain test I could have gotten from my general doctor so I ended up being out of pocket for it. Complained to Dr. McQueen. Did not improve. I was given the wrong directions on how to administer two different medications during my FET cycle. And this happened after I complained to the doctor and she acknowledged my experience. She even told me that I should rely on the patient portal and not the communication portal from nurses. Who would assume they were being given wrong information and then know to check what the doctor ordered??? Utterly ridiculous failure to take responsibility for incompetent staff. I went to the Danville location for an ultrasound one week during my cycle, and they mismeasured (NP named Doris) the thickness of my uterus and made me worry that I wasn't progressing. The doctor's solution was to make me drive all the way to San Francisco to have her do it again when clinic staff in Danville should've done it correctly the first time. In addition to this, the two times I met the doctor, she was impersonal, rushed, and barely engaged me about anything. Mid conversation on the communication portal I'd be handed off to a nurse. Really felt like just a number or worse, a credit card from this doctor. On transfer day she didn't even know the sex of my embryo. Belted out instructions on her way out the door! Add to that I was told to get an expensive consultation and cardiac test merely because of my age (that I had basically already done at a previous clinic) and told to do so at the very last minute which delayed my cycle because of the late information. When I repeatedly contacted this clinic to ask why they hadn't told me about a $500 charge they never got contacted me back. Suffice it to say the transfer was unsuccessful and I will always wonder if it's because of the general negligence of the clinic on a repeated basis. I'm now put to the expense and trouble of having to change clinics again because I don't trust these people to touch me again. Just horrifically disappointing and I would never recommend anyone to this clinic. No one needs to be stressed out when they're trying to get pregnant. Doctors are responsible when their staff gives out bad information. And when it doesn't improve when you tell the doctor multiple times, it's the doctor's fault. Dr. Morin, director, do better running your clinics. (I'm sure the clinic will respond that they can't respond because of privacy laws. They give that canned answer on every review, and use it to avoid responding to people's substantive concerns. To staff: coming from an attorney, that is a BS response and responding on that level doesn't entail revealing any confidential information. Believe all of the reviews about the disorganization of this office and avoid it like the plague.)

One of the counselors didn't know any of the answers to my questions. Certainly not worth the $199 I paid as my monthly membership fee. There is a pervasive environment of up-selling, which I find oppressive and cloying. I canceled because my physician does not want me to take anything from a compounding pharmacy, as they are not trustworthy and I switched to a major pharmaceutical house brand because of the quality of their research for my maintenance. I must say that even during the phone call I made to cancel, the customer service representative tried even then to sell me different products and services. Is there no respite?
