The unit I moved in had just been newly renovated, and it had a modern look with dark gray carpet, faux granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The cost of rent/water/sewage/trash was $720 total for a 670 sq ft 1bed/1bath apartment so all you need to pay for is electricity and internet since renter's insurance is not required. The apartment complex is also wired with Google Fiber, for fast internet speeds, and they allow you to hang personal items on the walls. You don't even need to fill in the holes when you move out! However, I ultimately ended up moving to a new apartment complex because I wanted more space, an apartment with in unit washer and dryer, and a larger kitchen. The complex was also a long drive to work for me, and the office hours made it difficult to pick up items the get delivered to the leasing office since they're only open from 9am-5pm and closed weekends. If those things are non issues for you, then I would definitely recommend moving in here. I also didn't have any issues with move out, and was able to receive all of my security deposit back. They do 12/13 month leases, but I'd suggest going with the 12 month lease. Especially if you don't move in on the first of the month because they don't count prorated months as part of the lease term.

This is crazy that's their Job as living in an apartment complex get Parking spaces cleared , Many elderly people still work and cant do it . The day after I moved out, I actually forgot a couple of things in my "tools drawer" where I store all my tools and manuals for the furniture. I still had my key and was on my way to return it the day after move out. I remembered I have completely forgotten about my tools drawer and went back to get it before turning in my key. The key did not work. They had already changed the locks! Luckily, it was left unlocked! I walked in and they had already given the place a fresh new coat of paint and had all the lights and fans on. I looked around to see if I walked in on maintenance but no one was there. Everything was just as I left it. I went straight to my drawer and my tools were gone! Only my manuals were in there. Exactly 29 days later, I called Copper Ridge for my deposit since there are legally required to invoice me at 30 days which is stated on the lease agreement. I told them I haven't received or heard anything regarding my deposit and the property manager said I should receive it within the next day or so. It was 2 days later that I receive my check of ONLY 25 bucks. No invoice of any charges were included. I called them back and asked for my invoice for the charges they have taken out of my 200 dollar deposit. 125 for "furniture damage" and 50 for "pet urination". This was told to me over the phone btw. I regret not taking pictures because I was so confident on how spotless I left the place. And I think it's funny how they charge for "pet urination" when there is only carpet in the bedroom and my dog was trained to never go in the bedroom. No matter how hard you tried, she would not budge. So when I finally received a copy of my invoice, that I had to keep asking for, the inspection was done 8 days after I moved out! And the one sign off on the inspection was the property manager! There were no photos, nothing to prove of the furniture damage or pet urination! In short, not only did they stole nearly my entire deposit, they provided no proof of damages and urination and they've taken my tools while I still had the key. They also did the inspection 8 days after I moved out, meaning after they had taken my tools, change the locks and put on a fresh coat of paint. Don't recommend to anyone. I will not go to my tenant lawyer about this. The cost of my lawyer is more than what I'm fighting for.

Tldr: this is not a luxury apartment community…read more I can hear every single step (stomp) my upstairs neighbors make, their conversations, toilet flush, and even their snoring. The management is not proactive and is slow to be reactive (for example they will walk by burnt out lights for months), and this trickles down to the poor quality of residents. There seem to be bad pet owners here who do not clean up after their pets, even on sidewalks; the hallways are turning brown with new stains weekly and the front door mat of my building was covered in fresh urine every morning, smelling terrible all day long. Unfortunately, the buildings are hardly ever cleaned and when the cleaners do come maybe once a month, they must stand in one spot with the vacuum, the floors are covered in hair and dirt. Valet trash which is an extra mandated charge seemed to just now show up, and tenants leave their trash cans in the hallways despite requirements to bring indoors. Communication with management was inconsistent, sometimes they will email you, leave a note on your door, or only post a sign on their office window. They give very little notice of things which I guess they do not care if people are out of town. I quickly learned to do all my communication with management via their community platform/app so I at least had record, as when I called or stopped by the office my requests would not be completed. There was a big problem with smokers in the apartment and once I contacted management via the app (which goes to 5 employees at once) to report a specific unit smoking and they did not respond until multiple days later. Also, with lack of communication, there was no notification of when the pool would close despite multiple people asking on the community app. The package room is a joke, with your items being dumped on the floor or even left piled in garbage bags for you to sort through. The business center is also worthless as the computers are old and not functioning properly.

I neglected to take a photo of the initial bill that was mailed to us after move out, but it was over $2400. Attached is my fight with them and the final bill after fighting, with inconsistent follow up after a month. Kim Monroe could not care less about the residents. Additionally, the letter says "please See enclosed documentation" but nothing else was provided to us. Also, Frank the maintenance man aggressively pursued our upstairs neighbor while we were living there. According to her (and she called us during this exchange) , he stopped her while walking her dog. She denied the advances. When she got back to her apartment, Frank was there waiting at her door. She reported this incident to management, who let her out of her lease. They did not fire Frank. We previously liked this guy, but after her interaction knew he was dangerous. He was still working there when we moved out (2024). Beware of this complex, they do not care about you, your vehicles being stolen/broken into, or their own integrity
