My buzzed part is all uneven and when she was using the buzzers she was all over the place with it. Instead of going in same direction. Also my bangs don't lay right and some of the longer hairs go on the other side that is supposed to be buzzed. I had first got an A line haircut at the salon in Walmart and that lady with long blonde hair didn't stack the back part enough, I had to go back 3X then decided screw it I will go somewhere else and go shorter. So it went from bad to worse. Nobody knows how to cut hair properly in this town that I have met or knows anything about dye either. So if you want a crappy haircut go here. I corrected it myself and it has grown out a little, looking a bit better.

I did note that there were some reviews that indicated that they had problems receiving return calls but overall Main Street Salon had great reviews. I called, the receptionist was very friendly. I explained that I was traveling and staying in the area for a short while longer, and hoped to get a haircut scheduled sometime this week. My phone number was taken and I was told that a message would be sent to "everyone" in order to determine who I could be scheduled with and I would receive a call back. That was 2 days ago. I get it. People are busy and booked up. I don't have a problem with that at all if I was told that right up front. Would this be acceptable to any one of them if they required a service? for example ...an air conditioner repair tech? How would each one of the individuals feel if they required a service -soon- and were just blown off? No phone call, just an expectation that help would be provided and dismissed. It is sad to leave such a negative review for a place that I didn't even visit but that's the point isn't it? I sincerely appreciate that the customers that they have currently seem to have a great experience BUT I am also acknowledging the people that have indeed been blown off...it isn't just because they were somehow a "negative" customer. They just weren't appreciated for being one.
