Lots of interesting books in the cafe up front

Hey y'all, the ladies that work up at the Hike House are a treasure. Laina, Star and Alli were so nice and knowledgeable I came by twice after my initial purchase just to hang out!! My water pack had a cut in it that lead to black mold so I went by HH to pick up a new one. They have lots of hiking shoes and gear plus a lot of "Sedona" insta-ready outdoorsy clothes. Nicely curated. There is also a little cafe up front and the chocolate oatmeal cookies Laina hit me with saved my LIFE on a 7 hour hike the next day. I also picked up a really interesting book about the Havasupai tribe of natives, their culture and their struggles to save their land. But again I have to give kudos to the ladies. They laughed at all my jokes and gave me great advice about places to go in town. Thanks again for letting me hang out, I will totally visit any time I'm up in sedony!

Don't miss this place when in Sedona. Lots of great hiking, outdoor, & kick it gear. Also, great gift options for those back home that don't travel with you. Whether it was the hiking shoe/boot selection, the bags, clothes, or other supplies, they had so much to choose from. Also, their staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us with items in the store as well as told us about the best hikes in the area. Definitely check this place out. It is top notch!!!

The staff is super helpful and friendly! I came here near the end of August and they gave us good advice on hikes to do to avoid the summer heat that would still afford us really great views. They have a good amount of gear available here--basically anything you'd need for a hike (e.g. boots, hiking poles, hats, clothing). I already had what I needed hiking-wise, but I did end up getting a cooling towel here! It is on the pricier end but not ridiculously so, especially if you need something immediately/are just visiting and don't want to have to wait for it to ship to you online. The cooling towel was definitely a worthy investment for summer hiking in the desert--they even took it next door to wet it to activate it for me so I wouldn't die on my afternoon hike! I also got a tropical sunshine (mango and pineapple) smoothie here -- super tasty, but also kinda pricey. They have phenomenal service though. Cookies looked delicious but we'd eaten already so I didn't get to try em'.

I LOVE my new hiking boots from Hike House

On my very first hike in Sedona, BOTH soles of my trusty Lowa boots (circa 2004) disintegrated. So I retied the shoelaces around the flapping soles and managed to complete the hike! The next day, I went to Hike House to see what was available. Tal was super friendly and helpful. He had me try on a few different styles. And guess what fit best? The Lowa boots. Only they were lighter and slimmer than my old ones. I bought 'em and hiked in 'em that day. In fact, I hiked every day for three weeks in them, covering 50 miles or so with not one blister or problem. fantastic store + incredible boots = one happy hiker Thanks!

If you love to hike and love delicious cookies then you must pay a visit to these shops. A friend recommended that we stop and try out their baked goods and we're glad we did because it was one of the best cookies we ever had.

    Tread grippers! Amazing stability!

They picked us up from our hotel, made several stops including clean bathroom breaks and couple gift shops. Overall, the tour was amazing. Although we only spent 45 minutes at a horseshoe Bend, we were able to take some awesome pictures and walk around. But definitely the highlight was Antelope Canyon. You can only go on a tour here with the Navajo guide and our guide Ray was fantastic. We spent about 1.5 hours at lower Antelope Canyon. He really made the tour fun, informative, and he took the best pictures. The photos do not do it justice. The experience was just unreal. Each term that we took we were in awe. The downside was our tour guide Brandon. Although he was very friendly, he didn't seem that knowledgeable. Maybe he was having an off day but there were a couple times that he stopped mid sentence while telling a fact and even ended a fun fact with blah blah blah to finish up his sentence. At one point, he even started chewing on a candy or something while hooked up to the microphone. This was really annoying. We still had a very great day just a couple things that didn't make it a five star experience. Did you have a lot of options for tours and their office is located centrally in the uptown area.
