There were people at my wedding who did not get to eat. I called the establishment and told whomever is in charge of it what I wrote above, and she offered no apology, challenged my report, and was incredibly defensive. If I had the choice of picking this place to cater, I would choose any other place. This catering company is not recommended for any event. Poor quality food and customer service.

My husband had to take out his large pocketknife to cut his meat. Other men saw him do that and also got out their pocketknives. The food was otherwise ok, but for an event that large, lining up in different lines for the main dishes, then desserts, then teas was not efficient. We attended a second large event catered by them and while the beef was tender, the chicken was stringy and so dry, it was also very hard to cut and chew. It was definitely overcooked. The vegetables were very good, but there was too little food and the tea was not in the table. It would have been do much better to have pitchers in the tables. Instead, guests had to continually go to the side tables, then carry glasses of tea through the crowds. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially when we had better food and experiences from other caterers in Lubbock.

I rented the place for 150 guests but was told 2 months before my wedding when I sat down with one of the coordinators, that they could only seat 130 comfortably.... 2. They claim they are apart of the church and the renting of the venue supports their expenses HOWEVER I caught them lying about this multiple times and I have text proof of them attempting to change my chairs and back ground becuase they "belonged to the church which was completely seperate from the venue" but when I first toured the sales pitch was that the espenses help the church and mission expenses?? 3. Invoice issues, I have an accounting background and I kept noting that my invoices were increasing over time as if it was accumulating interest, then I noticed a "credit card fee" that kept fluxating and get this, it wasnt a third party charging the sketchy fee it was them manually editing the invoice. AND my payments were being made in cash so why was this fee on there in the first place? 4. They kept my deposit because they found a vape, and vaping is against their rules. When I asked for a picture they blocked me and then cashed my $1000 check. Oh and they tried using my wedding as content and they blocked me on social media as well LOL TRASH PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. NOT TO MENTION THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS PLACE, TOILETS NOT WORKING, OVERGFLOWING TRASH CANS, SMALL PARKING LOT ( ANOTHER THING WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT, THEY TOLD US BY THE TIME WE HAD OUR WEDDING THE PARKING LOT WOULD BE EXTENDED, THAT WAS A LIE) THE HORRIBLE HVAC SYSTEM THEY HAVE, THE CLUELESS OWNER AND STAFF MEMBER THAT WAS LEFT AS A VENUE COORDINATOR COULD NOT EVEN PULL BACK BLINDS, SECURITY HAD TO HELP CAUSING ME TO GO DOWN THE ISLE AT THE WRONG TIME. She is wonderful with our 2 daughters and so sweet and fun to work with. When I wanted to incorporate our horses into our family pictures she was on board and took some amazing shots. I really wish we used Jen for our maternity photos because we were not happy with who done them. Needless to say, Jen will be our family photographer from here on out.

This was the second place we had been to and I thought I had already found a dress at another store so I wasn't expecting much. Katie helped me by suggesting different dresses and really tried to understand what it was I was looking for. I was wearing a dress I was liking but not loving. She showed me another dress that I hadn't originally thought to try. She said just do it, I think you'll really like it. I shrugged and said ok. I put it on and looked in the mirror and got that "feeling" everyone talks about. I walked out of that boutique feeling so amazing. So confident. So beautiful. It's not a chaotic massive store that leaves you feeling overwhelmed. It's welcoming and fun. The environment and the energy from the time you walk in to the time you leave is enough to make you want to come back for more. Their customer service was over the top. I started as the only client in the store but even as another lady came in to shop I didn't feel rushed or pushed to the side. If anything it made the experience more fun because both consultants were paying both of us clients attention and showering us with uplifting compliments. It wasn't too noisy either sharing all one space.
