There were people at my wedding who did not get to eat. I called the establishment and told whomever is in charge of it what I wrote above, and she offered no apology, challenged my report, and was incredibly defensive. If I had the choice of picking this place to cater, I would choose any other place. This catering company is not recommended for any event. Poor quality food and customer service.

My husband had to take out his large pocketknife to cut his meat. Other men saw him do that and also got out their pocketknives. The food was otherwise ok, but for an event that large, lining up in different lines for the main dishes, then desserts, then teas was not efficient. We attended a second large event catered by them and while the beef was tender, the chicken was stringy and so dry, it was also very hard to cut and chew. It was definitely overcooked. The vegetables were very good, but there was too little food and the tea was not in the table. It would have been do much better to have pitchers in the tables. Instead, guests had to continually go to the side tables, then carry glasses of tea through the crowds. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially when we had better food and experiences from other caterers in Lubbock.

I came to find out about LHUCA through attending the First Friday art trail events in the area…read more Technically, the event is named after this place and has the gallery as its central focal point. The idea being to come stroll through the gallery, then work your way out onto the cordoned off streets and check out local art vendors and handmade goods before settling on beers and live music or performances somewhere along the way. This gallery always has a perfect assortment of displays running the gamut between peculiar to practical. I've seen some incredible handmade pottery mugs for sale, and some bizarre installations of another form of pottery: the toilet. It is, nevertheless, wonderful to have such a place in little ol' Lubbock. There are some beautiful large art pieces that hang on the walls making up the majority of the contents. Paintings, photography, mosaics. All sorts of media. Some for sale, albeit often at quite high prices, and many marked "NFS", or "Not For Sale". There's a very tiny little shop selling remnants of older installations, as well as "extras" made by some of the artists. It's quaint. A front desk has flyers and cards for the current and future exhibits. My favorite, they also have a pile of free stickers with the center name on them. Even in a time when retailers and restaurants struggle to keep staff, they always have plenty of attendants working the gallery to answer questions and shout at you if you dare touch the art. That's commendable and makes the experience all the more whole. It's been 7 years between the latest review and mine, but the place is still kickin' and worth visitin'!

It is very spacious and holds so many art appreciators all at once. It is the hub of the first friday art trail that happens every first friday of the month 6pm-9pm rain or shine! It is also open throughout the week to visit. During the first friday art trail they also serve beer and wine for a small cost. The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts is an amazing addition to the sometimes known as boring Lubbock, Tx. It keeps the city excited about up and coming artists and their work. I love that our City has such an amazing establishment to enrich the locals.

This was a serious oversight that put our pets at risk. To make matters worse, the customer service was rude and unprofessional when we reached out about the issue. What should have been a thoughtful anniversary gift turned into unnecessary stress. Save your money and shop elsewhere. There are plenty of florists who pay attention to customer requests and care about the safety of their customers' pets.

The owner suggested this was due to a booking error, and the special notes were not included in the order. She suggested an even exchange, but would not be able to guarantee it via delivery, like the original order. We even offered to pay additional delivery for the new arrangement to be exchanged, but she declined, saying we would have to submit an entire new order, even though our original order totaled over $100. We then asked for monetary compensation due to the mishap, and were told she would only be able to guarantee a discount on a future order. When asked if there was anything else that could be done to correct this issue, the owner said "It seems to me like you want a refund because you don't like the flowers we picked for you". This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever encountered over FLOWERS. The health and well being of my family INCLUDES my ANIMALS! Shame on you Town South Floral! EDIT: Even when given the opportunity to correct the issue, they disregarded blame and doubled down, after admitting it was a booking error. An even exchange includes the original form of delivery, which was not offered. The lack of professionalism from this business is asinine. Don't waste your time or hard earned money here. TLDR; Town South Floral will try to poison your cats.

Even asked if they could send a photo once they were finished, and they did! The gentleman who took my order was extremely polite and accommodating. They delivered in a timely manner. She is wonderful with our 2 daughters and so sweet and fun to work with. When I wanted to incorporate our horses into our family pictures she was on board and took some amazing shots. I really wish we used Jen for our maternity photos because we were not happy with who done them. Needless to say, Jen will be our family photographer from here on out.

They excitedly said no problem. I was helped by the owner, Katie, who is pregnant and looks amazing. This was the second place we had been to and I thought I had already found a dress at another store so I wasn't expecting much. Katie helped me by suggesting different dresses and really tried to understand what it was I was looking for. I was wearing a dress I was liking but not loving. She showed me another dress that I hadn't originally thought to try. She said just do it, I think you'll really like it. I shrugged and said ok. I put it on and looked in the mirror and got that "feeling" everyone talks about. I walked out of that boutique feeling so amazing. So confident. So beautiful. It's not a chaotic massive store that leaves you feeling overwhelmed. It's welcoming and fun. The environment and the energy from the time you walk in to the time you leave is enough to make you want to come back for more. Their customer service was over the top. I started as the only client in the store but even as another lady came in to shop I didn't feel rushed or pushed to the side. If anything it made the experience more fun because both consultants were paying both of us clients attention and showering us with uplifting compliments.
