Overall, I highly recommend this location to families, friends, or solo venture goers who love nature and a fun holistic experience.

Sunday morning and the place was pretty busy. We were told to use parking lot F for parking. It's a short uphill walk if we wanted to walk but right outside the parking entrance was a trolley stop. It does get full but the trolley run pretty often and drops you right off at the front of the tram station. As we had our pass, one of our friend didn't but we were able to save 10 percent on her ticket. The pass offers 10 percent up to four additional tickets which is a big help. The line wasn't that long for both tickets and entrances. After scanning the pass/ticket, you're greeted with a photographer for the group picture. That could be picked up at the top of the mountain. After that, you're in a room with everyone else before getting on the tram. It hold a good amount of people and run quite often both going up and coming down. The cart is see though so wherever you stand you'll get the full view and it's slowly rotates 360 degrees which offers the view of everything from the mountain to the desert. It was maybe a good 5 minutes or so from bottom to top. At the top you have the photo section where you can collect your pictures. Theres a museum, gift shop, bar, restaurant and cafe and of course the mountains. Hiking is a number one activity as well as camping and rock climbing which we did see loads of people bringing their mats with them. Of all the times I've been up here, I have never once walked down to the trails and this time it finally happened. It's a downhill walk on a flat paved sidewalk but coming back up was, you just wanted to get to the top. The mountain itself was beautiful with a good amount of hiking trail. All with path and directions. We happened to stumbled upon a free hiking tour which was quite interesting and nice. There's two daily that's about an hour and half long. Nick was the main tour guide who is extremely knowledgeable about all things nature and the mountain. That man was like a walking encyclopedia about the place. Very sweet and friendly. The tour/hike itself was fun and learning about things was even more enjoyable. Nature has its beauty, we just have to stop and enjoy it. Also Spencer, another ranger that was pretty knowledgeable too. He was more of the background ranger of the group. These two men know their crafts about the mountain and nature. Just that hour or so, the group took in so much information. To have something like this at the top of the mountain was a surprise as we just happened to stumbled upon it as it started. We saw the sign posted and noticed the group about 100 feet ahead. If you wanted to just do your own thing, it's open for your pleasure. I think if you wanted to continue on one of the main hike, you would need to get a permit at the ranger stations. I think it was free. Camping is also available on the mountain. It was a nice afternoon spent up there just checking out nature and the scenery with an added bonus with a nature hike with Nick and Spencer. I'm not sure if they're the only guides that do the tour, but they were excellent. Finishing off, we enjoys the view of the desert from the top of the mountain looking down to the desert. Lounging for the bit and checking out the museum before heading back down. If you haven't done the tram to the top, it's worth it for an afternoon. And perfect way to cool off from the heat.

Rushmore in South Dakota. Along the way we had a jam-packed schedule which I am not complaining about because it made us very productive, and always on-the-go seeing new sights. We covered eight (8) states which included: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. Along the way we visited several historic sites like Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and many more! Each hotel we stayed at were very nice and clean. We only stayed at one motel which was just outside of Yellowstone (in Montana). Four (4) out of the seven (7) hotels provided free breakfast. During the drives, we would only be on the road for about one hour thirty minutes (1:30) to two (2) hours at a time. We would stop at rest stops and/or lunch. Each lunch stop had a Chinese buffet ranging from $14-$16 (drink included). BEWARE, avoid the Las Vegas Buffet in Nevada! It is HORRIBLE. To the left of that buffet there is a small Mexican restaurant which I recommend. Each buffet had neighboring restaurants which my party chose to do because it turned out cheaper than paying ~$15 per person. My tour guide's name was Paul and the driver's name was Mr. Shung (or Jung?). Paul was a nice tour guide, but some of his remarks to others were very rude and unprofessional. He spoke in both Chinese and English. He has a slight accent which made his English a little hard to understand, so I would just wait until we got to each spot to see what the names of those places were (i.e. Grand Prismatic & Painting Pots). I wish he knew a little more insight about each place because the descriptions he shared was very short and bland. The whole tour was time-managed very well. We stayed at each sight for about fifty (50) minutes to an hour. We were always on time and Paul made sure we were never late because we had a lot of places to visit. As for the driver, I liked him very much. There was never a time where I felt unsafe with his driving. His speed stayed constant at 75mph (I sat in the front so I noticed his speed). Thankfully, the people on our bus was not loud at all. And if I was I annoyed I would have just put in my earphones. So I have no complaints there. This tour company is catered mostly towards Chinese individuals, however, I myself am not Chinese and I still enjoyed every second of the trip. (Sorry for the long review, I just wanted to share my delightful experience!)

The large turf area is great for kids who have private or team lessons. There are plenty of cages, but my only gripe is that they are all short. It would be awesome to have some wider and/or longer cages. Both trainers I've had the pleasure of working with--T and Jordan for training/recovery--have been amazing. They are professional, knowledgeable, and truly helpful. Cleanliness of the facility is hit or miss. Sometimes the restrooms are well-maintained, but other times (like yesterday morning), the toilets hadn't been cleaned from the night before, and one sink had standing water due to a plumbing issue. In the gym area, paper towels are rarely available for wiping down equipment after use. Even when they are stocked, the spray bottles are often empty. Other issues with the gym section of the facility: * Trash from the night before is frequently left behind. * Gym equipment needs repairs and upkeep. Many pieces have parts that have fallen off or are missing, and it appears they haven't been serviced since purchase. * Thick layers of dust and dirt cover most equipment, except maybe the dumbbells. * The carpeted area near the training rooms is peeling due to wear and tear.
