When we decided to build a wine cellar we got a number of estimates. Liquid Assets (Kevin Jones) gave a reasonable bid and his recs were stellar so we went with him. He was wonderful. He and his crew showed up daily until it was done and were able to quickly trouble shoot any issues that popped up. Kevin was very honest and more than fair. Since the project he has been very prompt to answer any questions that come up and has even come by to explain things when necessary. I have an entire wine room built for the wrong sized bottles, with a sloppy hand-molded plastic, make-shift vent cover, and that fogs and has condensation all over the glass constantly. It hasn't worked since he installed it, and when he finally got fed up with his own inability to solve the problem, he lashed out in a narcissistic arrogant rage. We can't wait to finish transferring our wines from the Wine Hotel to Liquid Assets Cellars. Even though the Wine Hotel is only 5 min from where we live, we find the place extremely "stuffy & unfriendly" unless you enjoy the same wines they like and promoting. Sorry, but I don't kiss ass! I tell it like it is. We own two separate lockers @ the Wine Hotel but will not be renewing my lease. We own two lockers to accommodate the 600+ Two Buck Chuck collections (just kidding) :) We also have Three Buck and Four Buck Chuck :) Liquid Assets Cellars is about 12 min from where we live. Yes, it's an extra 7 min drive, but it isn't an issue because we enjoy coming here. We also love having access to our wines 24/7. We visited and inspected at least 6 other facilities in the Los Angeles area based on the amenities and criteria we were looking for in a wine storage facility. We're very happy with our decision in choosing Liquid Assets Cellars. We guarantee that you will like the amenities as well the comfortable, inviting, and relaxing atmosphere. Several years ago (5 or so?) I wanted to do a wine storage unit in my home. I had been to some events at LAC and asked Kevin if he would come out to take a look and give me suggestions. I had a few areas in mind....a closet, a hall area, a family room area. Kevin said the areas we had in mind would work, but weren't practical, and would be very expensive. Along with my wife, he came up with the alternate suggestion of building a custom wine cabinet....well, really NOT a cabinet, but a high end piece of living room furniture...that would hold 300 bottles, and have end pieces that would be display areas for art, glass pieces, etc. The people he worked with and recommended were amazing....the design AND burl wood finish was made to match an Italian side bar in our living room....there was no detail that wasn't perfect. When people come to our home for the first time and see it, they are amazed and comment on it. This IS the centerpiece of our living room. Oh yeah.....price. Came in at less than half of what other custom wine cabinet houses charge. Kevin is a 5 star person....fair, honest, fun, knowledgeable about wine.....and a creative mind. Where do I begin?? First of all, what's not to love about a place that is both a wine club AND a place to hang out?? Add a little cheese and some cool conversation... and it's kind of a mini-event. I met so many nice people!! Okay, people tend to be nice when they're sampling wine. But the no-attitude attitude starts before you get there. It's important to feel welcome, and that's the key to this place. It's happens to be a beautiful room, with quite interesting art, but that's almost besides the point. It's just a fun place to have a good time. What's not going to be pleasant in hanging out there, right? Which... in these stressful times, is something we tend to forget! read more

Looking for a great place to store your wine collection, check this place out. I was impressed at how beautiful the inside is compared to other places I looked at. It's more like a club, a place to hang out, than a generic wine storage place. Plus it's in a great location in North Hollywood with lots of parking. I have 24 hour access to my wine so I can get a bottle anytime I want. I love that! If your collection has taken over your house and you need more space check out this place, you'll be impressed. They'll also receive your wine for you and hold it until you can get in to put it in your locker. Great Service! read more

If you are looking for a security climate controlled wine storage facility with 24 hour access look no further. I have mine wine stored there (over 3000 bottles) and that is the best recommendation I can provide. The people are wonderful, the services tailored to your specific needs, and everything is done first class. If you just want to store a few cases or a truck load they will accommodate you. They can handle all your administrative needs from receiving shipments to electronic inventory management. You can entertain small or large groups, watch Directv on a huge flat screen TV, attend weekly wine tasting events from top industry winemakers/labels, or just visit and share wine with friends--they most of it is included under your wine storage agreement (i.e. receiving and inventory management is not). Whether you are looking to find a place to store your wine, or find a place to meet and hang out with other wine lovers, Liquid Assets Cellars is the place to be!! I was introduced to the place, when invited to a private event that was held there, and immediately was hooked. After meeting Kevin, and talking wine, I had mentioned my. at that time, fiance and I were heading to Napa for our honeymoon. Kevin was so great and helped us set up some amazingly exclusive tastings with winemakers which were definite highlights of our trip. Upon returning home after the honeymoon, we got our membership!! The facility is great, the front lounge area has comfy chairs and a big screen to kick back and catch that sporting event or show, and just beyond there is a large tasting area complete with a huge round table with plenty of room to have 10 or more people and tons of glasses. The location, which does have great facilities to safely store wine, is also perfect for someone like myself who for now, just wanted a place to be able to enjoy wine with others that share the passion. Kevin and the staff are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable, and it is a fantastic place if you are wine lover. Kevin is constantly arranging wineries and wine makers down for private tastings, in many cases those wineries with private mailing lists, the kind you normally don't find at those big impersonal tastings at the wine stores, and are always complimentary to members and their guest. They also go out of their way by having amazing cheeses and breads to make any tasting there a perfect afternoon or evening escape. Maybe the greatest part of the facility are the other members. Everyone there is passionate about wine and totally unpretentious, whether you are a beginner at wine or have a collection of 1000's of bottles, everyone is welcome. They are all so gracious about sharing their 'Finds', and if interested will give you insight about the wine and wineries. Inevitably after every tasting or event members bring bottles and seemingly all hang out in the office area of the facility and crack open their favorite bottles for all to taste, many times the best part of the event. I can't say enough about Kevin, the facility and the other members, in the short time I have been a member I have learned volumes of information about wines and wineries, and look forward to many more. In my quest to find a place to store my ever growing wine collection that is taking over my house I found this gem of a place not to far away in North Hollywood. Most wine storage places are rather industrial looking but not this place it's warm and inviting inside with beautiful woods, no metal cages here. I am happy to have my wine close by so I can drop over and get a few bottles whenever I want. Most of the other places I found were too far away to be convenient. read more
