They have many different pieces from various artists and had a little bio next to them. They had more artwork than I had expected since the gallery looked a bit small. I found a lot of pieces to be interesting and was to my liking as I was browsing around. Overall: This was an interesting visit and makes me want to visit other art galleries in the near future.

The art usher was very lovely at this location as well and was available if I had any questions (the only one being if I was able to see more art upstairs lol). Stunning pieces throughout - I was able to view some of my favorite artists here - Alec Monopoly and Angelo Accardi. After visiting this location, I found a new love for David Kracov's work. He combines 3D art with comic book themes, and for a portion of his art, Looney Tunes - which who doesn't love that franchise!? I also loved Kunst met een R's works, which specialize in luxury chocolate bar art - beautiful, compact, and extremely elegant! I overheard a buyer come in, and the pieces go for $10-50k!!! I'd love the luxury of walking into a gallery and inquiring about some serious art at high prices - rightfully so, as they're all so beautiful. I'll definitely revisit when I'm in the area when new pieces come into rotation!

He was well versed on the various artists, very customer service oriented and was passionate about the product and his job. The store is COVID-19 ready, conducted temperature checks, plenty of hand sanitizer available and the employees working were vaccinated against COVID. Eden Fine Art has two locations in New York City, and they are in Miami, Aspen, London and Mykonos. They also accept Crypto currency. Obviously artwork is pricey although if you are looking for a statement piece for your home this is the place to go. I would highly recommend you visit the store and ask for Ben. He will provide the personal attention that will guide you through to make an educated decision.

As all of these galleries are for private consumption inventory changes. I love the artists that this gallery has chosen. The works are genius. It was my favorite of the 15 we viewed in April 2015. Many of the artists they have chosen have a simple complexity to them. There is such complexity in simple that the artist shines. I can't quite explain it. You really should try to go and see it. The art is likely quite expensive as with all the galleries in Chelsea. Viewing is free though.

My favorite thing in the Jonas Wood exhibition that's currently on view at Anton Kern is a gray dog…read moreat the bottom of a big painting--a schnauzer? not good with breeds here--that looked so funnily uneven and odd, not only because its head was cocked to one side, its eyes looking directly out of the painting at the viewer in that inquisitive, expectant way that dogs do--but also the way its face was painted was split in half, making its expression not just searching but also insane. Some dogs really have expressions like that! The split in the face was mainly caused by the way Wood paints--making strips of paint with ragged edges, as if he's dragging the brush downward in a very tense zig-zag, leaving these skinny tight tiretracks of paint. The dog is made of these stripes. In Wood's paintings lots of different things--animals, furniture, whatever--are made of these strips. But not everything is, so there is a variety of texture to his surfaces that I find appealing, and it nudges against the repetitive pleasure of the stripe patterns. Jonas Wood's paintings are mostly interiors, and when they're not they are the kind of paintings you'd expect to find in a normal home--a portrait of a pretty peacock, some flowers, a portrait of a couple--and he underscores the fact that he's making "paintings of paintings" by cleverly inserting them in his interiors. So in the one with the dog at the bottom, you can see the peacock painting (which hangs separately in the same gallery) IN that painting. There's a painting of a poker tournament, the one thing in the show that might be thought of as happening in a public space, but you can tell from lettering on it that it's a painting of a TV screen, so again the perspective is domestic. And the television studio where the poker game is being played is made up of the same stripes that the dog is. I wouldn't say Jonas Wood is a mind-blowing painter but I certainly enjoyed myself looking at his work.

The Museum was packed, angry elevator lady and not many people of the culture that reflects the artwork. Weird. This whole place was pretty crazy, i did nit think the art was that interesting. I mean, everybody acts like this is a big famous art museum that can change your cultural life or something, but half the people walking around in there are just phonies trying to look like they're deeply moved by a bunch of twisted old tree branches. It depresses the hell out of me. ​Its not that iteresting so don't overthink it, with all those gnarly roots and painted wood sticking out everywhere like some wild creature.That part was pretty cool, I guess. But then you've got all these fake foreign snobs in cheap coatd standing around stroking their chins, nodding like they're having a damn spiritual epiphany, when you know they're just going to go buy a ten-dollar cup of tea downstairs and brag about how cultured they are. That stuff just drives me nuts. ​The room itself was alright, clean and quiet enough, and that colorful quilt hanging on the wall behind it wasn't half bad either. But after about twenty minutes of staring at roots and watching people pretend to be brilliant art critics, I just wanted to get the hell out of there and go home. ​Three stars. It's fine if you're in the neighborhood and feeling lonely, but don't let anybody sell you a bill of goods about it.
