It is a blend of sitting in a cafe, library and grandmas house. The ice cream options were great! Ishla gracefully served my fam of 4 samples til we found the taste we desired. Everyone who worked here was full of love and smiles. The seating was comfy. I felt like I had the opportunity to sit and enjoy my family in a private yet public setting. We did show up as the band ended but seeing the calendar of all the different live music they offer we can't wait to come back and see more. Why don't you offer the Mormon muffins for sale without having to eat at the restaurant? Why don't you have something in planet rainbow space and what happened to planet rainbow? There is a good mix of vintage and new to thumb through. Highly recommend for crate diggers. There are some real gems to find and not just a lot of unrecognizable, dilapidated records from your great uncle's garage. The staff is super helpful if you're looking for something in particular. They also have the capability of ordering and shipping for selections not on hand. It is refreshing to see vinyl make a comeback, the store was packed with people and everyone had at least one record to buy. We live about 50 miles away and we will make special trips to Ogden just to shop at Lavendar.
