Management has a culture of "I don't care". They do not fulfill online orders for store pickup. My third attempt this time for something I knew for sure they had in stock. I placed an order for the Ryobi battery starter pack and the free tool fan. The battery pack had to ship to store but the fan was verified in stock since I was in the store when I placed the order. Hours later they canceled the order for the fan claiming it was out of stock but sticking me with the battery. I went to the store and they had three in stock. I carried one to the customer care center and asked for a manager. They said they were not willing to do anything. Now I have to wait for the battery pack to come in and return it since I got burned for the free add on tool. They refused to allow me to cancel the battery portion read more

In today's world where customer service doesn't seem to matter I want to just say that I was at Home Depot Monday and Cheryl in Flooring was on top of the game, knowledge and customer service. Happy to chime in another 5 star here. Ive been to a lot of HDs from metro Atlanta up though SC. This HD ranks up in the top from size, employees, and selecton. I find that this HD has a good mix of tools and décor (tiling, paint, etc) I'm often near the Toccoa HD and because of this HD being almost twice as large as that one, I make the extra drive often. read more

Manager Mark Dorsey not only dropped the ball in managing an install project that should have taken 2 weeks to complete, and took 4 MONTHS, he made up reasons to keep our demo refund and submitted false information to his corporate office when I asked them to review their process in behalf of others. 4 MONTHS!! They do not have an honest or customer oriented culture. I'm happy to become a Lowe's customer. read more

I have a pro acct with Home Depot. I have spent thousands already remodeling my home, and plan to spend many more, but after today I will think twice about whether it will be here or not. Among other items, I bought a dryer from this store 2 days ago. We went to pick it up, which was already frustrating to not have the option of free delivery. We got it home and had to wait for laundry in washer to finish before using the dryer. The next day we plugged her in, turned it on, and it started for about 5 seconds and then turned off. We checked all of the potential issues it could be before making a phone call to the store. Unfortunately it was a few minutes past 8pm before I had a minute to call and the store closed at 8. Today I called and after asking to speak with someone in appliances 4 times, I asked to speak with an MOD. A lady manager gets on the phone and I explained to her what the issue was and asked "what can we do about this?" Her response to me was "well you'll just have to return it to the store". I paused for a moment, thinking surely she would apologize for any inconvenience, hassle, etc and offer to make it right, but nope. I asked her "that's your response?" And she repeated it. So after being rude and interrupting me speaking 3 times I simply replied "that's fine, I'll return it and buy another one elsewhere". This was very poor customer service And I expected more from this store. Very disappointing. I would be okay with that response if the dryer had been working for even a week or so and then something happened, but it never even turned on properly, therefore I feel like the store should step in and make it right and not put it on the customer to load it back up, bring it back to the store, and have to load a new one again. read more

Brad, the manager on duty at the time, was a savior-- not only did he provide me with excellent guidelines and tips for tilling, fertilizing and planting, he helped me load all the large bags of Peat Moss etc. in my truck. Arrived at store to browse BBQ's and Power washers. We were greeted on arrival and received an excellent service which was very informative of the above products. This resulted in us leaving with both items - the BBQ was assembled for us free of charge and even the change from propane to natural gas was take care of for us in a timely manner allowing us to arrive home and enjoy our new purchase. read more
