The people they are very nice and seem to want to help you. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen the way you would expect. I had flooring done in my home by people that didn't even speak English. They messed up my floor and the company that I'm dealing with through Home Depot will not replace the floor. Last time I do business with Home Depot. Also bought a refrigerator about too months prior. The evaporator fan crapped out the door was dented when it got here the door was not adjusted correctly. They were supposed to replace the refrigerator never showed up with it. And now I'm dealing with this on my own, which is not fair to any consumer. I am going to lose about $300 worth of food in my refrigerator because it doesn't work. They never offered to do anything for me other than give me money off the bill which also was not fair because I should have a good product. Good service. Don't ever buy a Frigidaire. They suck beyond belief. I don't know what else to do and my hands are tied to them. read more

Cancelled rental truck reservation 14 hours before we were supposed to pick it up (charged a $150 reservation fee). Why are we being charged a fee if that doesn't confirm our reservation? Being left to scramble the night before a move (after most other places are closed) is a really crappy thing to do to people. Will never recommend anyone use this service. read more

First of all the people working here are the rudest bunch as ass hats I've encountered at a Home Depot. Secondly, this store refused to give me a military discount, something I've gotten for the last 26 years. I spoke to a manager that stated HD how requires you to register and your limited to $400 annually in military discount. You know who doesn't do this? LOWES! Guess where I'll be spending my MILITARY pay from now on? Not Home Depot. And definitely not in this store. Horrible, horrible service. There's a Lowes just 4.5 miles away, go there! read more

My husband and I came to cash in on a 15% off in-store coupon we received and saw that this location had 11 units of a discontinued Home Depot-exclusive POLYWOOD chair that we wanted. Mary-Kate from the Customer Service desk helped us and was able to find only 2 chairs up in aisle 8. Unfortunately, we wanted a total of 6 so either the system was incorrect (as most retail stores' systems are) or the other chairs were unable to be located. They then tried to help order 4 more chairs online to ship to us but the system wasn't allowing them to since it is discontinued. They tried calling for a Manager on Duty but, like MODs at any company, they were unresponsive. Another associate, Luz, joined in by reaching out to another store in the area. We really wanted to give the sales to this location since they had spent so much time bringing down the chairs and since the system said there were 11 chairs at this location. Another associate, Kathy, came to help and was actually able to find 4 more chairs! Thank you thank you thank you for those who went to incredible lengths to help out! I hope someone from management sees this because the team was persistent, collaborative, and just phenomenal. read more

This Home Depot never disappointed me until last night, I came in the evening to get 140 feet of 2 awg SER, gabriel, the guy who helped me looked like he did not care about his job and took 20 minutes to cut one wire for me! I told him that it doesn't look like 140 feet to me that it looked more like 120, he assured me that there was 150 feet in there because he left me 10 feet extra, when I arrived to the job site, to no surprise there was only 120 feet in there!! I had to go back to Home Depot return it and watch the same guy who didn't care take another 20 minutes to cut another 140 feet because of his mess up, Gabriel doesn't care about his job and could care less about customer satisfaction, this was shocking to me because I have never came across any employee of Home Depot with such a terrible attitude towards their job and customers, I spend tens of thousands of dollars every year at Home Depot and the fact that I wasted 3 hours of my time is just disappointing, i missed out on 450 dollars which I could have earned if I wouldn't have wasted my time because of Gabriel. This is a great Home Depot but this just happened to be a bad experience I had with Gabriel. Worst company ever. bought a 3 piece appliance package. The delivery company said the fridge won't fit and left it in the hall entrance of my 2 family. when I saw the fridge in the hall I called to have it removed due to it is blocking the exit for my tenant. the company moved it to the front yard and that's where it sat for 2 days. It has been 2 weeks since they removed the fridge from my yard and still have not refunded my $1100. If I could give zero stars that would be to may. Never had any issue until today. I need some work done to my garage and I wanted to speak to someone about having a contractor come to my property. No one was at the desk so I waited. Not a problem, the store was pretty busy. A gentlemen walked up to me and asked if I needed help, i said yes. He pointed me to the fellow who sits at that desk and said he will be right over, I'll tell him you are waiting. The associate did this and the older fellow without hesitation looked at me and said "Let him wait". I've spent thousands here as I've been a homeowner for nearly a decade now and they are located fairly close to me. This is unacceptable and will not be doing any business with this store. read more

The staff will make an effort if you ask. Sometimes. This is the only reason I give this store two stars. Otherwise the stock is poor, the quality is horrible and the garden section is a mess. Things are poorly stocked, poorly labeled, rusty, dusty, and broken, generally. The employees won't offer to help unless you flag them down, but they do try to help when you ask. But even they can't deal with the fact that the stock is just really poor and badly maintained. read more

So, I am down the street from this place. I have been a customer many times- I am doing some easy(er) renovations to my house and I am learning as I go. I am the first to admit, I don't know a ton but I am a fast learner and I have accomplished many diy projects. However, everyone has always been a bit rude here, like you are putting them out- I just dealt with it, cause it's convenient. The straw that broke the camel's back is that I was there with my infant picking up some basic things- screws and whatnot. I needed to find where the screws were fast and I asked a nearby employee that I searched for for about 5 minutes. My infant was not in great spirits, and I figured all I needed was him to show me where the aisle is. He showed me the aisle and asked what kind of screws I needed, I said, "just screws"- thinking I would be able to find what I was looking for easily. Well, I couldn't... I came back to the employee for help and he was making fun of me with the other employees about how I was looking for "just screws". It was just rather rude. A home improvement place shouldn't really poke fun at a customer that is maybe a little ignorant when starting a project. I wont be shopping there again. read more

Well what can I say? I usually do not like shopping at department stores and would rather shop with a local small business. Home depot has a huge selection for everything, including home appliances. Initially I had been tracking down this fridge and dishwasher for close to a year. I heard a commercial on the radio the other day right before "Black Friday" and decided to take a look at the "Pre black Friday sale" I was amazed to see both the fridge & dishwasher had went down over 30% in price, never mind the fact that they had a $50.00 2 appliance instant rebate that was posted on my fridge. At checkout I remembered I had a Lowes coupon and was going to wait and see if Lowes had the same fridge and dishwasher that I had been looking at. The person at the front desk informed me that they would accept the Lowes coupon. My face lit up like a Xmas Tree! I remember saying something like " You mean to tell me, I get the 2 items at the discount, plus the $50.00 off and then accept my Lowes Coupon? " I think she said something along the lines of " You got it sir!, we match or beat customers promotions, pricing" ha ha Honestly The fact that the sales person in the department that I was shopping for, knew absolutely nothing was about the only thing that sucked about the experience. But you know what? I put all everything aside just because of the deal I got. Conclusion: I really think that Home Depot has proved to be probably the best department store I have ever shopped at. If I ever need any type of appliance again I will definitely wait until this time of the year and shop there yet again. This is why I give them the 5 Star Rating.. Unfortunately I think I'm done buying appliances! Maybe I can fit a chest freezer in my cramped up basement! :O ha ha Sorry for the lengthy review, I couldn't figure out how to consolidate it!
