Home Depot has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought a 1 gallon bottle of Ortho Ground Clear Concentrate and had the store in Clarksville, Indiana deliver it. Another customer's order was delivered to my house by mistake. I immediately called customer service and explained what happened. Customer service called the Clarksville store and the store promised to have the delivery person return to my house with the correct item. They also offered to give me a $10 'good will' credit on my order because of the mix up. The delivery person never returned and I never got the $10 credit. I finally returned the Ortho Ground Clear to the store and got the correct item. I left a review on Home Depot's website and they never posted it. I guess they don't like negative feedback. read more

I am disappointed with the Clarksville Home Depot and this is strictly about how they feel about persons with mobility issues. They have 5 carts that I saw. None of them work. Today was my 3rd visit that I had to push a cart which is extremely difficult for me. I feel that they could do much better. read more

When I was younger I shopped at Home Depot every now and then. Back then I didn't really like shopping there due to never being able to find someone to help or answer questions. Fast forward to the last few months. I recently went there to buy my grown daughter a Ryobi battery powered combo that was on sale. I didn't realize they lock up many items now. What a shame they need to do that. However, I DID quickly find two ladies to help me. Both were great and went out of their way to help me. It was a great experience. This morning, I stopped in to buy water softener salt. I bought three 40 lb bags. I was in the parking lot getting ready to load them in my van and a young man with Home Depot vest came walking across the lot towards me. As I was getting ready to move the first bag he said "Let me get them for you". He loaded all three into my van which as an old guy I really appreciated it. I thanked him and he was very pleasant. The extended warranty is fraud! I bought a DeWalt power saw and I bought the extended warranty. They refused to exchange it. It was less than six months old and they gave me an 800 number to call.. go to Harbor freight their extended warranty exchange on the spot with no problems, Home Depot the Lady manager customer service laughed at me and told me I was wasting her time, do yourself a favor and shop at Harbor freight they will give you no troubles when exchanging faulty tools, and parts read more

Do not buy Assurian extended warranty. The customer care representatives don't speak English well, will not listen to you that you live on the edge of the and Louisville is only five miles away. Instead they contract a repairman 2 hours away because he is in Indiana. this microwave has had had two replacement parts because of cheap plastic parts. Repair man came early, before be said and tracked in mud on the floor nor did he clean up after himself. He swore and was rude. I will never purchase another appliance from Home Depot if this the best they do with their warranties. Btw, it's a profile professional product. Home Depot usually always have what I'm looking for. This Clarksville location is well stocked, organized, and clean. My only complaint, which I believe is significant considering how huge the store is and its massive inventory, is it's difficult as heck to find assistance. What makes it worse, as I experienced on my last visit with this store, is when the employee doesn't know what it is you're looking for and don't follow that up with "let me find the answer for you". Employee #2 knows what I'm talking about, but tells me to "try" (without her taking the initiative to walk with me) an area where the product ended up not being found. So I often end up going through 2-3 employees before finding what I'm looking for - process of elimination, with much patience. But..like I said, I've found this to be the norm for Home Depot, so I adapt (or more appropriately described as *downgrade*) to their level of concern for customer service experience. By the end of the unofficial and unwelcomed scavenger hunt I normally find what I need and do the self-checkout, which I like. The scanners are sensitive enough and work really well, the process is easy, and there's hardly ever a waiting line. I like the option to have my receipts emailed to me. read more

Went in to look at window coverings Mixup on scheduling the measurements so I never heard back After calling and explaining the issue I was told that it was never scheduled (?) but not to worry, they will rush someone out and measure in two days Guy shows up- super nice and measures that Friday We are supposed to hear back by Tuesday On Thursday I call and I am told," we were supposed to call you two days ago...,come in in and pick out your blinds...." I am a relatively new Home Depot fan, as I 'used to' try to go to the Wisconsin-born national stores. (Bare with me, I have a lot of Wisc pride...ask the Badgers; go ahead, Jump Around!) I recently, had a mini-home remodel and after shopping around and speaking with A LOT of customer service reps; Home Depot won 9 out of 10. The staff is very helpful, honest and very kind. I haven't felt pressured to buy products and if I have something in my cart I do not need for a project; sales staff have informed me of this. At times, with my work, I bring clients with disabilities in the store. Staff are accommodating if need be, patient, and kind. I highly recommend this store if not for the reasonable prices and variety of products; for the the wonderful HD store employees. read more

Like other HDs, this place is well organized, well lit, and also has a good handful of employees roaming about to help out. I have been helped several times--usually just asking where a product is located in the store. Even better... the employees have always smiled while dishing out the help. How about that?!! This location is close to ther retail which makes it handy if you have other shopping to do. Though, I'd put off your home improvement needs during the holidays (most do, anyway) because of the traffic... getting in and out is difficult. read more

Never have I ever had such a terrible curbside pick up experience. Not only did they forget to save my order was ready for pick up after six hours, and were they too busy to pick up their phones having to walk in (defeating curbside) but I had to walk IN THREE TIMES to tell them to bring me my order out to later find they didn't actually have all my items (when they said they did) and then TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AND LOCKING THE DOORS for them to yet again forget about me at curbside pick up! The supervisor then said "this happens a lot here" well then clearly something needs to CHANGE! Three times having to walk on to have them turn the lights off of the store and forget about me AND not even have my complete order!? WORST EXPERIENCE EVER read more

Very unsatisfied by customer service. This Home Depot has an unacceptable level of customer service, at least in the delivery side of things. Production time and cost have greatly suffered because of Home Depot's mess up. We were supposed to get a delivery of drywall a few weeks ago and were told that they didn't load it on the truck so it wouldn't be delivered. Many days were wasted sitting around waiting for Home Depot to deliver this drywall. It has finally been delivered but Home Depot's store manager doesn't seem to care about the inconvenience it has caused or the cost of labor that had been wasted because of their mess up. I'm really amazed, in a bad way, by such a low level of customer service for the amount of money spent on this order. It's unacceptable. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but I am at my whits end with the Home Depot in Clarksville and this is my last ditch effort to get some resolution to an issue that has been brewing for close to a month now. My biggest regret in writing this is that I have to give this store a single star. I really wish that 0 stars was an option To start, I want to sing the praises of the Assistant Manager (Bing), who really went above and beyond in communication to try to help. Unfortunately, he just did not have the authority to resolve it himself. An employee of mine used to work for Home Depot. When he found out that I was dealing with Bing, he said that he was a really great, stand up guy but that the store manager was a d*****bag with terrible communication skills. Thus far, I have found this to be accurate. June 6th 2018 - I placed an order with my partner for a house we are rehabbing. It consisted of mostly 2x4s and drywall. It was set to be delivered on June 12th. June 12th I get a call in the morning saying that they did not load my stuff on the truck because the dry wall was buried. I explained that this was my only day off this week and that I had hired a drywall crew to be there to load in and hang the drywall. I needed the delivery TODAY. I was told it would be delivered by 11am. They sent an older gentleman out with a pickup truck. He brought everything EXCEPT the drywall. I paid a crew for the whole day for nothing. Rescheduled for June 19th. June 19th I called the store at 8:30 in the morning about the time the delivery would be. I was told by the staff member that the truck was being loaded and that I would get a call from the driver an hour before it was to be delivered. I hired a drywall crew again. The delivery never came. I called the store in the evening and left a message but got no response. June 20th I called but was not given a reason but said I could schedule a delivery for the next day (June 21st). I scheduled it. June 21st Delivery rescheduled for the 26th due to rain. June 25th I call the store in the morning to confirm that the delivery is good for the next day. I am told to expect the delivery between 8-12. I hire a drywall crew for the THIRD time. June 26th I get a call at 8:30 am saying they want to reschedule again due to rain. I check the weather and say that it should be fine. It's not supposed to start raining until afternoon and my delivery window is 8-12. I am told that the window is wrong and it won't even be picked up from the store until noon. I am rescheduled for the 28th. June 27th I call again to confirm for the next day that the delivery is a go. I again get the 8-12 window. June 28th 9am I confirm the delivery for the day. I am told that the driver will be there at 10am to load the truck and should be at my house for delivery about 12:30. I to get a call when the truck leaves the store and another one an hour before delivery. I never get a call when the truck leaves the store and the truck shows up for delivery at 3pm. In addition, I had 61 sheets of 4x12 drywall delivered. One was broken in half and six others were beat up. Because they showed up at 3, I did not have much time with my drywall crew. After loading it into the house, I got three sheets hung before the crew punched out at 5. I have over $3000 in labor into getting THREE sheets of drywall hung. Throughout this process, I have been in contact with corporate customer service giving them updates as well as the Bing. Both Bing and customer service said that the manager has been notified about the issue and should be in touch. I put in the order on June 6th. It is now July 3rd and I have not heard a peep from the manager. I am hoping that this review (followed by similar reviews that will be posted by my partner, tenant, and crew) will get someone's attention so I can get some resolution. Mr. Manager (Sorry I don't know your name but you never called me back) - you have my number. Please get in touch so I can continue being a home depot customer. read more

The Home Depot In Clarksville, In is terrible. My wife and I went there to buy a grill today, and could not find anyone to help us! We asked a girl at the service desk if she could get someone to help us. After 20 min went by with no one coming to help, went back to service desk and asked again if someone was going to help us! There was a guy that works there, that was talking to girl at the service desk, and he said "What grill would you like". When we told him we have been waiting for over 20min his reply was "Do you want to get a grill or not"! Great customer serve! We talked to Manager, and the only thing she could do, is smile and shake her head. Will never set foot in Home Depot again!!!! read more

We had the best service we have ever had in any store. The assistant manager, Sarah, went out of her way to help us find everything we needed. She actually took us to every aisle personally. Also, she told us about the great app Home Depot has that would help us find items we need on the next time we visit. Sarah was amazing. Called and was put on hold at the other store for over 15 min only to be disconnected. Then the checkout lady took 15 min to ring up our 30 items because she lost track. During my visit on Monday (4/23 between 7-8:30PM) I was graciously assisted by Dorenda in the paint department. I told her I had a coupon to purchase paint with she advised me to check if I could use it with customer service since another customer had had difficulty earlier in the week and she wanted to make sure I would be able to redeem it. Kindred at the customer service desk was also a great help throughout my visit, but had at least 5 customers she was trying to assist. During my wait to ask her about the coupon, I noticed two gentlemen who seemed to being upper-level management causally conversing behind her (unfortunately I did not catch their names). Although they glanced at the gaggle of people around the customer service desk a few times they never in the 10-15 minutes I and others waited tried to jump in and assist Kindred, nor call any other employees to help her. After she checked the coupon on my phone to see that it was not expired she told me I could use it, but may want to check out at customer service so I could be sure she I would get my coupon applied. I returned to Dorenda and she along with another employee in the paint department, Kathe, proceeded to advise me on my paint choices and with mixing my paint. They had wonderful input and made lively conversation that made my time with them a delight. After they got me the paint I asked for in a timely manner and asked me if they could help me with anything else, Kathe took my paint to customer service while I continued to shop. Before leaving the paint desk Dorenda told me I could ask for someone to help me put the 5 gallon buckets in my car when I was finished checking out. I picked up a few more items with ease as the painting section was well stocked and organized then proceeded back to customer service. There was only one other customer waiting this time and once Kindred was done assisting them she did her best to help me check out. Unfortunately, just as I had been warned, there was difficulty in using the Pro Price coupons I had asked about. This is more a point of sale operating system critique, but it can be quite frustrating to see a coupon code cause so much difficulty for a staff member who is trying to help as well and quickly as is possible. I can imagine other customers may become aggravated enough to not want to give their business in a store that's corporate procedures so inconvenience their customers and staff. Kindred had to call two different managers before she was able to get assistance. The manager who came to help her, Crystal, was patient, professional and helpful once she arrived. Crystal was eventually able to find a solution and use the coupon codes or apply discounts equal to the coupons I had. Once the transaction was complete both Kindred and Crystal thanked me for my patience and another associate, Richard helped me get the paint into my car. Overall the staff I was serviced by were eager to help and did the best in the circumstances they had to deal with, however it seems that management at the higher levels is not doing their best to support the great staff members they have. The failure of the corporate coupon program and inconvenience it subjects customers to at checkout added at least a 30-45 minutes to my trip. I think with better support to the employees on the floor, the customer's experience of this store would be much improved. read more
