We were suppose to have a new washer and dryer delivered yesterday. After waiting 4 hours my wife got a text they were unable to deliver. Come to find out they tried to deliver it to the vacant lot next to us. They took a picture of the lot and my neighbours mailbox that had the wrong numbers from our address. We had sold our washer and dryer Saturday morning and now will be without them till thursday and we leave on vacation thursday. How nice is that. Idiots read more

I drove to Home Depot in Coldwater to order a shower base. I wanted to go in-person, as I am a veteran and I wanted to get my discount. During the order process, I was told that Home Depot did not honor discounts for Veterans on special orders. I found that unacceptable, so I telephoned Home Depot Customer Service and was told the same thing. So for those Veterans, take note. Lowes offers a Veterans discount on special orders, so Veterans are better off to shop at Lowes. I ordered the shower base and paid full price. The "delivery to the store" was to happen between 5 November and 8 November. After the order was placed, the "delivery to the store" changed to 8 November, 2018. Go figure..... Nevertheless, I organized myself to pick-up the shower base on 8 November 2018 evening, and have helpers ready on 9 November, 2018 to install. You know what is coming correct? It is now 9 November 2018 at 17:00, and I have no Shower base. I telephoned Home Depot. The computer says it arrived, but it is not in the store? Seems quite strange for a major retailer to have conflicting information. So I went online and tracked the shower base. Guess what? The shower base was delivered to Marshall, MI on 8 November, 2018. Not Coldwater, MI where the shower base was to be delivered. And, please note that the shower base arrived on 8 November, 2018 to Marshall, MI, but on 9 November, 2018 at 17:00 the shower base has NEVER been delivered to Coldwater, MI. Customer service? It does not exist at Home Depot. Once you pay in-advance, Home Depot has no interest in talking to you, working with you, or owning up that they failed to meet their promise. Bitter? Yes, I am bitter. What a lousy organization. In this day of computer systems and great customer service, Home Depot is nothing short of a mess. Go somewhere else for goodness sakes, the Coldwater, MI Home Depot should be leveled and a Lowes built in the location. At least Lowes knows something about Customer Service. As for my shower base, well, I yield that Home Depot does not care, so why should I. I can order the base elsewhere, so I am going to attempt to cancel the order. But knowing the lack of Customer respect, I am sure that will fail. read more

I do not recommend this home depot, I went to by plywood and there was so cart for them. I dragged about 4 8footers across the store and not one employee helped. Just watched me drag my wood. Overall very disappointed and angry with the situation. read more

Went to home depot to buy their so called on sale refrigerator, after purchase was made, then said they( refrigerators) are on back order. On sale means overstocked err used to. Anyway, was told delivery would be 3 weeks out which would be Aug.30th. Now it's a Sept 10th. Glad they think I don't need refrigeration. 1st & last appliance bought. read more

I order a washer and dryer from the Coldwater store online. At the time of purchase I was pleased with the price, free delivery and free installation if I purchased the addition parts needed. This was purchased on April 19th and the site said to expect delivery by Saturday the 22nd. Never heard a word until I received a call from the logistics crew at 4:40 PM on April 27th informing me they were 5 min away. They are supposed to inform the customer an hour in advance. I asked if they could install the washer and dryer in an hour because I needed to head to work in an hour, and was told they could not and would reschedule delivery for the upcoming Sat. also that their boss would be contacting me, he never called. I contacted the Home Depot and the lady I spoke to found that somehow my order for parts was separate from the appliance purchase. She contacted the logistics company and put a note on the order that installation was included, the delivery was to be scheduled for Sat. May 6th. Everything seemed fine until the day of delivery when Alliance Logistics never showed up at 3:30 in the afternoon when the delivery window was from 12 AM to 11:59 PM. The GE representative was contacted by me and she contacted the logistics team that said I was the next delivery. They finally arrived around 5 PM with a 20 min advance warning. Then the problem began, they refused to install the washer and dryer, David called his boss Josh on the phone and put him on speaker so he and I could talk to him together. Josh said that the delivery guys were on a tight schedule and did not have time to install the appliances, and after some discussion claimed he would send a plumber out on Mon. I told them if there was not going to be an installation after waiting 3 weeks for delivery I would refuse delivery since that was what was promised to me at the time of sale. Josh aid he just now found the notation of installation, and David said if it wasn't on their delivery slip it would not be done. I said I had nothing to do with their paperwork and wanted what was promised to me, so delivery was refused. Brandon at Home Depot was helpful on cancellation of my order, but I am still waiting to receive the 969.42 credit back for the washer and dryer. Home Depot needs to find a better company to make deliveries for them. David's sidekick (I didn't get his name), was complaining the whole time about Home Depot, saying they hear these complaints all the time, Home Depot always gets these deliveries messed up. I will be looking elsewhere for my washer and dryer after this disastrous attempt to purchase from Home Depot. read more

Keep a close eye if CFI is contracted to install something. They were contracted to do a carpet install for us and didn't take any action to eliminate the old staples, some with debris under them, before installing the new pad and carpet. When CFI was contacted they said to wait till something came through the carpet and punctured a foot or hand. read more

Ordered over $5000 worth of flooring. Wanted it delivered so we paid $100 to have it delivered to our home. On the day of delivery we received a call that delivery would take place between 7:00am and 8:00 PM (quite a window) never the less we stayed home from work. Mid afternoon we haven't heard anything, called delivery team, no answer. Left message no response. We called the store and was advised that our order was in the truck. No other information provided. More calls to the delivery team , again no answer. It is now 9:00PM no answer from the delivery team or the store. Lost time from work but who cares? Certainly not Home Depot! Doesn't fulfill promises to customer, who cares? NOT Home Depot ! Who'll take your money for product and then charge for delivery and then forget you exist! Home Depot! read more

This Home Depot closes earlier on Sunday's than all the other ones. We arrived at 7:15pm and saw 5 other families making their way to the doors only to be turned away. This store is really losing out by closing so early, there were more cars pulling in as we were leaving too. Disappointing. read more

Coldwater, MI, store #2766 was visited today to have 2 keys made and purchase other items. while walking to the key station I walked toward an employee ( Jon )that has made keys for me before. He was walking toward the return desk so I asked him to call someone to the key station, he said he would be with me in a minute. I sat in a chair that was on display near the key station for at least 10 minutes, while 2 other employees walked by and didn't ask if I needed help, usually can not go into the store without having at least 10 employees asking if I needed help. Jon finally started walking back toward the key station when another shopper stopped and asked him a question, Jon then proceeded to help the other customer without telling me that he would be back to help me. I patiently waited another 10 minutes for Jon to come back, which he didn't and seeing the other customer he helped checkout, I assumed that he would come back to make the keys. Waiting another few minutes, I went to the self check-out and asked the clerk to call someone to the key station. She got on the phone and apologized. I waited another 5-10 minutes and no employee ever came. I am thoroughly angry with this whole situation, I have never had any problems with this store, I even tried to call to express with the store manager and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, which has caused more anger. I usually go to this store at least once a week for something, but my plan now is to drive to a competitor like Menard's or Lowe's for my future purchases, which are no where near me, but will not patronize this nor any other of your stores. read more

I would like to start up at the only reason that they're getting at 3 and not a one is because the paint department folk for absolutely amazing. But for me to go in there and be forced to use the self checkout at I don't appreciate by any means, especially when there's 2 and 3 people at the registers asking if you want to save money to sign up for a card.
