I visited this Home Depot with a list of materials from my contractor and was able to find everything except the 2x4 lumber, which required assistance. I went to the lumber department's customer service desk, where several employees, including the department manager, were standing or sitting behind the counter. After waiting 15-20 minutes following a request for assistance, no one came. I asked for the store manager, who was sitting nearby, but instead of approaching me, he remained seated and asked an employee what I needed. After waiting a little longer with no response, I left the store. This level of customer service was unprofessional and disappointing. I've experienced similar issues at this location before, with employees pointing customers in the right direction instead of providing hands-on assistance. This store would greatly benefit from improved customer service training and stronger management involvement. read more

I like this store. I can even pay my bill, so I thought I went there a beautiful day, beautiful demeanor. I went to the register with whom a lady by the name Joyce waited on me. OMG, this woman kept snatching my credit card out before the transaction was finished. This card is invalid. I told her, "Let the transaction finish. You keep taking it out, and it's saying don't remove the card she did again now. Home depot the brand is not bad. This store however is, but only on the outside. Lots of loitering and aggressive panhandling. Soliciting inside the store from day laborers. I hate having to run to my car if I make a big ticket purchase for fear of my safety. They rarely have lighting outside the store at night. It is hit or miss. Each time I've gone they didnt have any parking lights on. The store itself is all good. Once you walk inside you can get down to perusing the aisles and dreaming of your next project. I know I do. Staff is hit or miss in the knowledge department. Sometimes I want to laugh or cry depends on the help at how great or horrible the service is. I've been to this Home Depot several times. They definitely beat to their own drum. The plumbing aisle is a complete disaster and I asked two associates to help me get stuff from the top shelf but nobody would help me. They kept saying that they would get somebody else for me. I've been here for an hour and can't get any 1/2 CPVC half inch fittings. I've also been here trying to rent a plumbing auger and they would not rent to me because I don't have a Masters plumbers license even though I have a contractors license. I have given this location more than enough chances to change my impression that they are crap. Many people in orange aprons just standing around talking amongst themselves or "trying" to appear busy such as opening & shutting the top to a box over & over but never taking anything out or putting anything in. Just one example. Then when asked if they can help, "That would be that guy & he's with someone." Why is HD paying people to NOT work or help customers? Only good employee I've come in contact with is Larry. He has helped me every single time on every single visit no matter what department I needed help in. First time at this location and what an awful first impression! Have asked three times so far for assistance with a custom blinds order. The third time the person I asked was actually the person who is supposed to be servicing this department. She was helping another associate with a tile display. I was told she would be over to help but it would "be a few minutes." This after we have already waited more than 20 minutes for her. And we're STILL waiting. If it weren't for the fact that they have what we need (and the time already invested), I'd leave. I walked in the store and there were a bunch of weed & feed bags however only two had prices on them. The worst feeling is getting to the register and it ringing up so crazy price. There were 4 - FOUR - ladies standing around in the return area chit chatting and I stood there trying to get someone's attention. I finally broke up their conversation asking for some help. I asked "how much are these?" And her response was "I don't know. the price is listed on the front" - um, yeah for two of them but there are four different kinds. Finally one of them came over with a scanner and priced them for me. I proceeded to look for what I came for. The "manager" was talking to a couple of employees telling them what he needed them to do while I stood there looking confused trying to decide which item I needed. I said excuse me to get their attention but got nothing so I finally decided on something and if it doesn't work out I'll just bring it back. The two stars is ONLY because as I was self checking out, the cashier was extremely friendly asking me if I needed any assistance with checking out. I rented a pressure washer at this location. The check out process went fine. When I returned it, the associate said that I didn't refuel it and would be charged. I said that no one told me that it had to be refueled. She said "It's in the contract." I looked, couldn't find it and asked them to show me. Two associates looked, and also didn't find it. They said, "Well we tell everyone". Nobody told me. Beside, if it is not in the contract you can't hold the customer accountable. As a side note, I have rented chain saws from this location in the past and was given extra fuel.Never charged. I will not return to this location. read more

Home Depot, I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service that I have received in the past month. My original order was placed on April 7th. Fast forward to the delivery date and I find my item on my front porch and completely shattered. We are forced to reorder the item and wait an additional 2 weeks but item number two also arrives broken. We reorder for the THIRD time and the item arrives at the store once again shattered and unusable. This has already placed us a month past our home move in date. On May 2nd when I arrived at store #0552 Jason, the assistant manager, showed extreme empathy and it was his superb level of customer service that made me give Home Depot a 4th try. We placed a different order for a different product since our original product was not getting shipped properly. Today, 5/4, I called customer service to get a status on my order and was informed that my order was never even placed on 5/2 to. We have waited patiently and have given Home Depot the benefit of the doubt but this is ridiculous. I still have a house to finish remodeling and don't want to give my business to Lowe's, but how am I suppose to trust Home Depot in the future? read more
