She patiently answered all of my questions about the sofa and delivery. The bottom line is that I ended up purchasing the reclining sofa. I also interacted with another sales associate as Erica was called away. Cliff was just as helpful as Erica. I suspect the good feelings I had working with both associates was is combination of company culture and good management. I also discovered that the Home Zone corporate office is in Euless, Texas so they are local not up North somewhere. Bravo Home Zone! Extremely Disappointed - Terrible Customer Service I had a…read morevery frustrating experience with Classic Turf Equipment that I feel needs to be shared. I visited the Arlington location looking for a specific part. While they didn't have it in stock, they told me the Mansfield location had one left and kindly offered to call and place it on hold for me. They confirmed it was being held by someone named Adrian, and I made it very clear I was driving an hour in traffic to get there and needed it placed on hold without question. They assured me it was taken care of. When I finally arrived at the Mansfield location hot, frustrated, and in a rush to get the part to my mechanic I watched Adrian chatting with a friend for about 20 minutes. Then I watched him sell the very part that was supposed to be on hold for me to that same friend while I stood there waiting. When I finally got to the counter and told him I was there to pick up the part he put on hold, his response was: "Ahhh man, I just sold it." No apology. No effort to help. No concern for the fact that I drove an hour because of his mistake. Not even a simple "Let me fix this" or "Let me find another one or offer you something for the trouble." Nothing. I've never experienced such blatant disregard for a customer. This wasn't a mix-up this was careless, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. I will never shop at Classic Turf Equipment again and hope the owner or management sees this. Your employees represent your business and this was a complete failure in customer service.

But on my way out of the neighborhood I decided to stop in to Stone's Ace Hardware store at Casa View and I was overjoyed to find every single item that I needed, even the concrete-look spray paint for some planters that are getting a new life. Stone's staff is super friendly and helpful and although the store isn't very big, they're eager to help you find what you need quickly and answer any questions that you may have. I was also thrilled to find a new BBQ spice rub now that we're doing a lot more grilling and smoking with the warmer temperatures. If you're in East Dallas, pop in for your hardware needs and always remember to support locally owned businesses whenever you can.
