Walked in to this The Home Depot earlier today with the husband and my goodness... !! ...talk about poor customer service at the PRO registers. In the picture, off to the left, Lecette (1), had me and my husband move from one checkout lane to another and kept calling the people from the opposite lane we were in. She had a turtle key chain on her apron, on the heavier side and not a friendly attitude whatsoever. I smiled at her at some point and she just stared and made me feel uncomfortable . Sam (3), as soon as we'd be on the move from the front of "said" wrong line and to the back of the other line, she'd call the person that was literally right behind us in the lane we were originally standing in !!!! She has curly black hair, on the heavier side as well. Rude AF . Cameron (2) however, what a difference in his attitude ! Friendly and professional are two words that I often think of when inside these Orange stores and he filled the shoe 100% on both! Thank you for realizing what your unprofessional, rude, wrongdoing coworkers were doing and helping us get out of there. Yeah, maybe if we had a small cart with a pack of water bottles we would have been okay ish with that behavior, but no! We had a flat bed cart with material sticking out from both ends. Not easy to maneuver back and forth between lines, around people and other carts full of even more things than we had. Hopefully we finish the job today so we don't have to deal with the unprofessionalism at this site ever again.

Vessels, a man whose name seemed ironically suited to his quest, wasn't searching for the Fountain of Youth in some far-off, mythical land. No, Vessel believed the key to eternal youth lay within the hallowed aisles of Home Depot. He'd spent weeks poring over gardening catalogs, convinced that the secret wasn't some magical spring, but a potent blend of miracle-grow, peat moss, and perhaps, a dash of fertilizer. He stalked the aisles, his eyes darting between bags of potting soil and specialized watering cans. He interrogated a bewildered employee about the precise nitrogen content of various fertilizers, his voice low and urgent. He even considered the potential rejuvenating properties of a pressure washer, convinced its high-powered stream could somehow blast away the years. His cart, overflowing with an eclectic mix of gardening supplies and power tools, looked less like a shopping haul and more like a mad scientist's concoction. He muttered to himself about symbiotic plant relationships and the regenerative power of compost.Eventually, Vessel, exhausted but undeterred, checked out. He looked at his overflowing cart, a hopeful glint in his eye. Perhaps, he thought, the Fountain of Youth wasn't a fountain at all, but a meticulously planned and expertly fertilized garden. He headed home, ready to begin his experiment, convinced that somewhere within those bags of peat moss and miracle-grow, the secret to eternal life lay waiting.

Customer service is really bad ,they don't care about the customers. This place needs new employees that know how to talk to customers.

The cashier Lecette was professional, friendly and a pleasant young lady. I hope she receives an promotion.

Terrible employees and even worst managers this store seems to be going more down hill by the day.

Review Highlights - The Home Depot

Went into the South Fontana Home Depot for some fittings today and after talking with an employee to get me some help and nobody was available so I asked to speak to a manager.

Our company is outfitting technicians with toolboxes that include approximately $3,000 worth of tools per set. This is our first time doing so, and I was hoping for some guidance from the Fontana team. Upon arriving at the store, I met a very helpful floor associate who began pointing me in the right direction. Given the size of the order, I asked whether I could leave my list of items and have someone follow up with me in the next few days. I assumed that a $3,000 purchase--and the likelihood of future orders of similar size--might be of interest to the store. Unfortunately, a female employee interjected abruptly and stated, "We don't do that," followed by, "We do not do your personal shopping." While I understand store policies, the delivery lacked empathy or acknowledgment of how labor intensive it would be for one person to locate roughly 50 items on their own. Because of this interaction, I decided to take both my current business and future purchases elsewhere.

So, for months now I have been waiting for a new popular tool (like everyone else) to be back in stock at my local HF stores. Since there was a big discount for a brand name tool and me being an ITC member I wanted to grab one while the ITC pre-sale was on before going to the regular customers next week. So, I called my store in Chino Hills, then Chino, Montclair and finally La Puente trying to see if they had one in stock. None of them did but La Puente said Fontana had 3 pieces in store. So I called the store to verify they had one and the employee that picked up the phone confirmed they had at least one on hand. I asked if he could put my name on it and I will make the 31 mile trip one way in traffic to pick it up. He told me it is first come first serve and will not put my name on it. I asked to talk to a manger and he mentioned the answer will be the same. I waited 5 minutes and called back hoping to get someone else and the same person picked up the phone. I could not talk him into it. I told him I am not going to drive 31 miles in traffic one way to find out it was sold before I got there. The employee was not rude but did not seem to care if I came in or not. Over the years I have not had another local HF have an issue holding a tool so I can come and pick it up. So, I ended up and called HF corporation in Calabasas to voice my frustration. The customer service agent was not sure why they would not hold it for me but mentioned she could not call the store to ask them to put it to the side. So about 30 minutes have passed since my second call to the Fontana store and I decided to call one last time. This time a different employee picked up the phone and was more than happy to get me the store manager. I explained to Rudy what I was trying to do and he ended up and personally went and got ahold of the tool and put it to the side for me. 1.5 hours later in traffic and I was there picking up the tool. I want Rudy to know that I really appreciate him helping out where the other employee would not. For that reason, I am giving this store four stars. If I did not have an issue from the start this would have been a five star review. For the store it should have been no big deal to put it on the side with my name on it since I would have left right away. Even if it was for a hold time of 2 hours. For me it was a 2 hour and 45 minute round trip so I really should not have had to deal with the issue the first two times I called in. If this is a company wide policy not to hold a tool for a customer then it needs to be enforced across the whole chain of stores. If this is only with the Fontana store you might want to reconsider for future customers. Thanks again Rudy!
