The staff with the exception of one person were incredibly self absorbed or socializing with their coworkers. They appeared medicated or something?? IDK. Mike from hardware was very helpful. I asked the zombies 3 times to send someone to assist me. They acted like they couldn't care less. One guy in the paint dept was seriously leaning against the counter on his phone. I asked him to call someone for me. He didn't even look up. Just mumbled that he didn't know how. I would have given one star if it hadn't been for Mike. He was very helpful and attentive. I don't see how a home improvement store that is run this lax and inattentive can even keep the doors open. Next time I'm going to Lowe's or to one of the independent hardware stores that are around. It states very clearly on their web site that Home Depot will cut lumber to order. However, when I visited the Home Depot on Bridgewood on the East side of Fort Worth, it took almost 20 minutes before they would assist me with my request - to purchase two sheets of 2' x 2' plywood and cut them to the sizes I need (24" x 20" and 21" x 17"). When I asked two of their associates to do this, they declined to do so claiming that it would be "unsafe" to cut the plywood to the desired dimensions. read more

on Oct 30 I had a new refrigerator delivered. When the delivery guy went to unhook the water line from my current refrigerator he broke the water connection under the valve down by the base. My kitchen and dining room flooded before they could shut off the water. Home Depot will not handle this issue. They have washed their hands of the situation and told me to deal with the installers THEY hired. Never in my life have I been so disappointed in a company. i had to hire my own plumber to fix the connection and now my floors are buckling. Buyer beware because Home Depot WILL NOT stand behind their delivery! read more

So in general, I like this store although I wish they would get new motorized cards because the ones they have are very old and falling apart in dirty if they even work at all, which most of them do not. But I had to go in there for a return tonight. The return didn't go well because I couldn't find the receipt, but I have to comment on an employee named Monica. I was sitting in the door in the only working motorized cart when I saw a man walking kind of slow slowly and holding his chest and carrying an item. He did not look right. I asked him if he was OK and he said no so I stood up and insisted that he sit down in my cart. Monica came over and started asking him questions and he said he was gonna go home and he would be fine. She followed him out to his vehicle talking to him the whole way and convinced him to call his family because he didn't want anyone to call in the ambulance. I waited inside because I needed the car back, but I was able to see that she was so concerned and she stayed right with him until he started to drive away, but she said he was connected on the phone with his family and they were coming up there. I hope that he got home OK, but I really am touched by the way she cared for him and would not just walk away and hope for the best. read more

I have rented a lift from various locations through Texas and Oklahoma and have never had any problems. I come to this location and they tell me that they will not let me rent a lift because my truck( the same one I've used for the other lifts) is not compatible. I like Home Depot they are a big very big hardware store. This store is like all the rest. You can get appliances, lumbar, plumbing, and gardening items. Just about everything you need plus more. This store is good no issue with them. You pretty much walk around look for what you need. They are really a help yourself place. This Home Depot is easy to get in and out of. This is our neighborhood Home Depot and we stop in quite a bit from time to time. We've really never had an issue with the store. My wife and I both prefer the other major home improvement chain. A visit to the Home Depot is always a roll of the dice on what kind of service you'll get. I've had horrible service and amazing service. I will say however that the people at.customer service always go above and beyond to help me. I've bought a lot of things lately at the Home Depot, it's part of owning an old house. Lately I have had more good service then bad service. I was able to get a perfect match and type of paint, something Lowe's messed up on. I found a new ceiling fan on sale that I was able to install thanks to the free ceiling fan installation class I went to. I was able to get some answers about some smart switches I've been eyeing. And then yesterday I got help finding a bee and butterfly friendly way to rid my yard of mosquitoes. They do have a lot there and I like that you can order online and pick up in the store. I will however have to rent or buy a truck soon as my next purchases sure won't be fitting in my car, but what's that, they rent trucks as well. Yes please! read more

Not a bad store, but it all depends on what your looking for. (hey, that kind of rhymed) So, going into this store I was looking for some LED lights (motion activated, battery operated, etc.) to help keep the electric bills down. You'd think that Lowe's and Home Depot would have the same selection (or maybe thats just me, I don't typically shop at hardware stores), but to my surprise they don't. I'd say that both stores carry about 90% of the same type of gear (not an approximate estimation) then there is that 10% where it varies (Home Depot has stuff that Lowe's didn't, but Lowe's carried stuff that Home Depot didn't as well). I'm not sure about the overall prices in the store, but I did run across some porch lights that were very similar to ones I bought at Lowe's and Lowe's was about $1 - $2 cheaper for the same item. Service is pretty good for a large store like this. One guy I talked to gave me an exact location to the Velcro tape (clear across the store) and was very polite. All the cashiers were giving us greetings as we walked by their lanes (though it was kind of weird, since it was three girls standing in a row each giving us this greeting - Greeting Overload! LOL). My only complaint was one associate that kept trying to push the Home Depot credit on us. He wasn't being rude about it, but every time we passed him he would suggest it (Ughh..). But overall a very positive experience. read more

I know Home Depot is an enormous chain and I can't really expect customer service from folks who are truly interested in or knowledgable about my home projects, buuuuut... I think the staff could be a little more helpful. I was just here again a few days ago with Jon, looking for rolls of decorative stick-on window film. Like a sticker that makes your window look like stained glass or like it's frosted glass! We'd recently seen them at another Home Depot but couldn't find them here anywhere. We circled the store forever and literally couldn't find an employee to ask for help. Finally I saw a woman walking towards us and I was so happy to get any kind of guidance, but as she got closer she absolutely wouldn't make eye contact with us. It was weird and obviously intentional. I said, "sorry! I have a question," and she honestly looked so annoyed. I asked about the window films and she said "I don't know. Maybe the window section," and she walked away. Super not helpful, thanks. I was like "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" We finally found them on our own (and not in the window section), but ended up passing on them because they were so expensive. I do enjoy Home Depot's garden department and usually their seasonal decor. Not much Halloween stuff out yet.... boo! read more

November 25th 2018: My husband and I purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher for $748.00. The staff member helping us was unsure what type of kit, install or parts/adapters we would need. He seemed very confused during the transaction. The papers we received stated our install was scheduled for 12/6/18. 12/6/2018: Delivery personnel arrived. They brought the dishwasher in, then saw we didn't have the appropriate install kit purchased. They told my husband this happens a lot with Home Depot, but they couldn't hook up the dishwasher. He was then advised he would be contacted regarding a new dishwasher arrival/install date. The dishwasher was then rescheduled to 12/13/18 for our deliver/install. 12/13/18: The delivery folks arrived....WITHOUT THE DISHWASHER!!!!!!!!! Later on 12/13/18 my husband spoke with someone at the warehouse who said she was looking at our dishwasher currently, but they wouldn't be able to bring it out again until Saturday the 15th. 12/15/18: The delivery folks show up clearly not wanting to do anything. The techs were talking about a small leak they saw in my cabinet near the water shut off. They said they couldn't install because we were "missing a shark bite." Then they installed it anyway and told me my husband should go to Home Depot to get the 3/8-1/2 shark bite. So, they put the dishwasher in and left. Later on 12/15/18 my husband went to Home Depot and was shown the shark bite. Neither me, my brother in law or my husband are plumbing experts, but the tech told me this "shark bite" was a simple fix. So, my husband purchases the part, comes home, turns water off under the sink, and then water begins explosively pouring out from under our sink. The connection hose to the dishwasher line came unattached and there was water everywhere, uncontrolled flowing for over 30 minutes! I ended up having to call 911 on 12/15 at 1:53 p.m. Turns out, we did NOT need a shark bite piece as the tech stated. What we needed was a non-compressor to a compressor valve. Tech should NOT be giving advice if they don't know what they are talking about. That "advice" and negligence including using the OLD hose from the install kit which is against your written policy is costing us $2500 in a deductible to State Farm Insurance, and all new hard-wood floors in our living, dining and hall due to extensive water damage that occurred during the 30 minutes of un-restricted water flow out of our sink. We have tried for 5 months to get Home Depot, their contracted delivery company FSA Logistix and their insurance company Sedwick to do right by us, but our "claim was closed" after they lied and said they contacted us when they did not. I wouldn't go to that Home Depot again for all the money in the world. read more

This is for the Do It Herself, jewelry organizer class on 05.18.17 1. A sample was not created before class so leader of workshop (Yvette) had no idea how to assemble. Placement of brackets could be better. 2. Leader had no idea how use some of the tools and said she never used them before. Blind leading the blind. Steps were also missed like gluing wood pieces together. 3. Totally unorganized where tools had to be brought out and had to be brought out again because they couldn't bring a drill with drill bit out. There was not really available instructions. 4. Leader adamantly talked about how much she wanted the demo especially if no one showed up and she said they didn't raffle it out although I have been to plenty of workshops where we made our the item was raffled out. The only one star the class deserved was that they translated the instructions to Spanish for one of Spanish speaking student although she was more interested in leader's makeup instead of the assembly of the jewelry organizer. I'll stick with going to the Arlington location. read more

I love home depot. When we needed Small items for home improvement. I would go here with my brother and end up making a 5 minute stop into a 3 hour stop. End up buying power tools because power tools are so cool to have. I like buying their regid line of power tools. Life time guarantee on it. Also cheaper than dewalt. Although dewalt is always a better brand. That and milwakee. But regid is cheaper with a warrantee. DO NOT ever buy ryobi brand power tools. Such a total waste. I owned ryobi drills, table saws and miter saws. They all failed. One bad thing I can Think of about home depot is that the bathrooms are sometimes dirty. They do clean the bathroom periodically through out the day but there is always the case of someone messing it up right after a worker has cleaned it. I understand most of the home depot customers are contractors and construction workers and alot of them don't have access to restrooms. Their last resort is to go at home depot. One time I went to the restroom and someone apparently and an accident all over the wall and toilet. I reported it and homedepot sent a person to go clean it. I feel sorry for the worker that has to clean that. read more

I was very disappointed with store manager Zach and the service from this location. I was set and ready to spend thousands of dollars for custom blinds and but realized Lowe's the same exact blinds on sale for 30% off. When I inquired if Home Depot matched prices, I was advised a manager would get back with me to confirm. Fast forward no one ever got back with me and the sale ended. Later found out, Home Depot would have matched the price as well as an additional 10%. Zach would not agree they dropped the ball and would not honor the prices. Prayers this location closes as the workers and managers are incompetent! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I know it's a typical statement and I never thought I'd be making it but tonight I experienced HORRIBLE customer service. I came up here earlier today around 11 o'clock and one of the saws was broken. Called back around 630 pm to see if they had it running yet and some woman answering the phone told me yes. I made her DOUBLE CHECK because she acted like she didn't know what she was talking about and even acted like she didn't want to double check but I made her do it anyway. I waited on hold and everything and she confirmed and told me yes. Drove up here wasted my time, energy, and gas only to find out after about a 25 minute WAIT at the cutting center (that I had to go find an employee and continue to wait for) that this saw was in fact STILL out of order. Lazy horrible customer service. If you don't want to DO YOUR JOB STAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!! I myself in fact have a job that takes up most of my time which is why I am so mad that I wasted my time at your and it COULD'VE BEEN PREVENTED. read more

On August 11th, 2017 we purchased a pergola that was a floor display and gave them more than enough time to disassemble the item and have it ready to go when we had it scheduled to be picked up. When we got there to take possesion of our paid for merchandise they had done nothing with it. Still standing in the same spot no one had an idea what was going on it took nearly two full hours before they could get someone who didn't refuse to take it apart just because they were supposed to get off in 20 minutes time. Instead of having someone available they had managers walking around doing nothing but asking if they you d someone to take it apart for us. The only one that was worth anything was the head cashier at the pick up counter. She walked around and tried to personally find someone, find the tools, and start taking it apart. She went above and beyond for our family and that will not be forgotten. Because of this incompetence of the crew at this Home Depot, our entire schedule was screwed up. We have but only a limited amount of time every year during my and my wife's vacation to get our home projects done. We should have gone to Lowe's instead. read more

This is the worst homedepot I have ever been to in my life and there is one simple reason. The manger of this store needs to seriously get his or her act together and do regular inventories. I can't even count the number of times I research an item online that says this store has an ample inventory of and when I go there none of the employees can find the item. The only reason I go here is because its very close. But I've been burned so many times now I guess its my fault for assuming they will properly inventory there worthless store. I have used several Home Depots since day one. Today I went into this Home Depot at 820 and Bridgewood Dr / John T. White to purchase a bottle of propane. Pretty simple, quick purchase I thought. I went into the store to pay and have someone give me a bottle of propane. As it turns out there were no open cashiers only a self service station with two women standing there chatting. I asked who could help me purchase a bottle of propane. The Hispanic girl asked if I had a receipt. I said no that I need someone to sell me a bottle of propane. She then passes me off to a woman whose accept sounded African. Who turned and pushed a few buttons and pointed to a self service terminal. Trying to follow the instructions it froze up. I turned and she is helping someone else and I mean she was actually trying to help them. I asked for help and she looked at me and said in a moment then turned and started helping another person as though I was just going to wait all day. I had company at my home waiting for the propane so we could cook and eat. I finally asked for a manager or anyone that could help and was treated like I was imposing on them. I was directed outside and not sure what to do out there but I headed that way. Eventually the first girl came out and pushed some buttons and screen that I couldn't see and a door opened. What a lousy way to treat customers. The propane was twice as expensive as having your empty bottles filled at other businesses. The end of the story is I'll never darken the doors of this Home Depot or purchase propane from Home Depot again. Thank you. read more

This Home Depot was awesome because of one employee, an older Hispanic man whose name I can't remember (I am SO sorry!). However, he said he's been there for over 20 years and it was clear from observation that all the younger employees deferred to his judgement. He not only walked me across the store to find the Sankrete I was looking for, but also carried it to my car for me. I am so sorry I have forgotten his name, but the employees there no doubt know who he is. He used to work in the Sankrete area and he said before coming to Home Depot he worked construction. Nicest and most helpful Home Depot employee ever. His help alone is the reason I ranked this Home Depot 5 star. read more
