1. The inventory in this store is never correct. If they are down to five pieces, usually they are out of stock. 2. The store does not thread galvanized pipe anymore. The prices on the shelves for wood boards are deceptive. I asked an employee who told me the boards were the price marked. At check out that was not the price. We went here to get some plumbing supplies after we saw that stock was low at our usual Home Depot location. Getting here is challenging if you don't know the lay of the land. Coming from the west on Rt 30, it is easy to miss the main entrance. We quickly found the second one just past it but this was clearly the delivery entrance as we were at the back of the building and had to circumnavigate the entire building to get to the front. Had we continued to the traffic light just past it, the marquée sign there shows an arrow to turn right but unless you know there is a rear entrance a bit down from the traffic light on Phoenixville Pike, it is very confusing. The parking lot is also challenging. Cartways and parking spaces are narrow if you have a cargo vehicle. It was the middle of a work day, and many spaces were full of non-worker types. There was plenty of stock. There were three HD employees in the aisle. A woman was cleaning the floor. The two men were practicing looking busy. When I went to get some pipe, one of the guys offered to help, and handed me some pieces. One was crushed on the end, so I had to return to the aisle for a replacement as 18" of the 8' length would have been useless. The checkout person was obviously a well-known personality who was greeted by every customer. Generally, one would think of this as a plus, but this camaraderie resulted in a 5 min conversation with the customer in front of me regarding some inanity. This was less irritating than her ringing me up and then voiding it and ringing it up again because of some error on her part. The only way I would return is doing a curbside pickup so I don't have to interface with people for whom time is not important. read more

The staff is very friendly and assisted me in getting some materials that are needed for the project. They have a wide range of items of wood and the selection is robust and mrt my needs. Yesterday I went to this store to purchase 3 AC inside covers. I asked 2 associates in the store where I might find them, they looked at each other and said check at the customer service desk. I went to the desk and they had an associate take me to an area in the front of the store, he looked around and said they should be in this area, he then said good luck and left. I went back to the customer service desk, and the associate looked and said we have 9 in stock and told me to check in aisle 10. On the way to aisle 10, the lady at the self checkout had seen me go back and forth and asked what I needed, I explained to her and she said ask "Chris", he knows where everything is. I spoke to Chris and he said they are in aisle 10, on the right hand side and on a lower shelf. Surprise, not there! Knowing the store had them in stock according to customer service, I went out to my car, found them online and ordered 3 covers. Amazing! Got an email saying they would let me know when I could pick them up. SIX Hours later, I got the email, went back to the store, got them out of my locker and completed my purchase! Had to buy a battery to fix and issue with the FIOS backup box. Turns out the box was bad and Verizon had to bypass it which left me with a battery I didn't need. Home Depot took the battery back without a receipt just by swiping the same card I used to buy it with. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes, and the lady at customer service was very friendly and helpful during the return. read more

Horrible customer service. Purchased a new GE freezer, defective upon delivery. Customer service was useless. I had to contact GE directly for repair on a brand new freezer. For this purchase, $100 was deducted from a HD gift card by mistake. The store's Assistant Operation Manger was very rude and refused to credit the money back to my card. HomeDepot (Frazer PA) do not care about their customers. I would avoid this store and go to the one in King of Prussia, which is great. read more

By far the worst customer service ever experienced! I went in on my lunch break to look for the clip that removes/replaces broken Christmas light bulbs and all 3 sales associates were useless. The first lady I asked pointed and said, "If we do, it's in the Christmas section", then walked away. I am not kidding when I tell you that they would not let me pay my bill in person. The account is in my husbands name and because I didn't have his ID, they would not let me make a payment. I had a copy of the statement but evidently I needed to have statement page with a barcode on it. The manager was useless. I called the card number on the statement and they took the payment with NO ID. So I can make a payment over the phone with no ID but I can't make a payment IN PERSON with my own ID. I have always felt that the customer service and knowledge of the staff here was above the other box stores nearby. This was recently reinforced. The team there is burdened with an incompetent third party responsible for the delivery of appliances. As a former VP of sales for a fortune 100 company, I want to single out Jeremy, the specialties manager, Deb C, manager of appliances and Bill the assistant manager. They all worked hard at making sure the customer deserves attention in spite of their horrible delivery contractor, GE delivery. I had ordered a refrigerator and was told delivery was going to be today. Oops. They lost it and told me, oh well, maybe next week. This team, worked diligently with the contractor and when they got no where with them, they made sure that I remained a loyal customer. Thank you Jeremy. read more

Very Poor Service. I have been dealing with this store since they opened and the service had just gone down hill. Being very busy and opted to use the CurdSide pick up for only the second time, and Again very Poor Results. The store worker was apologizing for a 20 minute delay after having all morning to pull 4 items together. But this issue is on Management. Her reason was kids have gone back to school and we need more help,( I guess the store was not aware of kids going to school)? Second time with bad results for curb side pick up. Not again. Ordered the carpet last Wednesday July 23, 2014. I asked when the carpet would be installed. I was told the carpet had to be measured, OK. Guy came the next day measured. Asked him when will the carpet be installed. He said 72 hours after they gave me the quote. When would I get the quote? Of course the next day. I received a quote late Friday that was much higher than the quote in the store. Had to go back to Home Depot on Saturday and asked to see the quote. After 20 minutes, I was finally given the quote. I noticed the wrong price per square foot was on the quote. Carpet was on sale but the quote was based on the old price per square foot. It took over an hour for the sales person to figure this out. She kept saying it was a reduction. No it was the price on the carpet, the display was within eye site. Took a manager coming over to "Make the change". No apology. OOPS. Had to go to customer service desk to pay. Here we go again. Wrong price on the carpet need to get "the same manager" who took 20 minutes to show up to do the same override as if the price was being reduced. 4 days into this debacle. Again I asked, "When will the carpet be installed? 72 hours?" I ask. Manager says the 72 hours on the signs refers to "72 business hours". Funny it does not say that on any of the signs. 3 days later, it's Tuesday. No one from Home Depot carpet install has called. I have no idea where my 72 hour carpet install is a week later. Getting ready to go back to the store, file a complaint and cancel the order. Do no go to Home Depot for carpet. It is a waste of time. read more

It was my first visit to Home Depot and was guided by the staff in a proper way for the item that I was searching. Found the item and had good selections. The prices seem to be a bit more compared to other super stores for a regular item found in such stores but the premium is for having multiple selections which the other stores lack. The store is at a good location and the approach is confusing particularly if using a GPS and coming from Malvern since it shows a wrong way. The worst customer service! We ordered a new fridge that was supposed to be delivered over a week later between 11 and 3. At 3:30 we received a call that it would be there by 6:30. Waited for delivery until 10pm before giving up. Zero communication from the store or delivery at this point. Spoke to the manager at the call center and at HD the next day (the first manager I spoke to at HD never bothered to call me back and I had to call again) and were told there were delays and we should call into the call center to reschedule. Very disappointing. Had a nice selection and good prices on refrigerators. Let salesperson know it was important to only look at refrigerators that could be delivered next day since tenants had no working refrigerator. She said would be delivered next day with a heads up phone call when they were on their way. We also indicated there was one flight of steps. (We used HH Gregg for many years, great service and no hassle delivery. Sorry they are no longer in business). Still no sign of refrigerator, two days later. Terrible Customer Service... I ordered several things including a left hand door online, paid $80 extra for truck shipping since it wouldn't fit in the cheaper van delivery option (which is a lie). They were supposed to call prior to delivery, they did not. They left the entire order in the driveway at 7am in the rain. Delivered the wrong door type, and damaged it (either that or tried to sell me a damaged door). I called to complain and they wanted me to bring it to the store and exchange it - I don't have a vehicle big enough to transport it which is why I paid for delivery. They said they would call me back Saturday to schedule it (it was thanksgiving the next day so I understood the delay), but no on called. Sunday I called and they were not doing deliveries Sunday so they said they would call back Monday to schedule a delivery.... and Monday came and went with no call. Tuesday I spoke to a manager and she promised that they would bring out the correct door and swap it out for me today and that they would call prior to the delivery. I called to check up on the status as it was getting to the end of business today and found out not only that they supposedly came at 7am today but did not call me or ring the bell/knock, but that they didn't even have the replacement door with them. I'm not holding my breath for tomorrows delivery to even happen let alone have the correct door. Anytime I do curbside pickup its a toss up of either an ok 8 min wait or a long 45 min wait. tl;dr - They delivered the wrong item and have yet to resolve the issue after over a week. I just wanted to express our appreciation and gratitude for an employee at your E Whiteland/Frazer, PA #4119 store. Joe in the lumber section was amazingly helpful, incredibly nice, extremely skilled and knowledgeable, and he certainly went above and beyond to help my wife and I choose/cut lumber for our new bed frame. He's the best Home Depot employee we've ever encountered and he should certainly be given a sizable raise. I wish all employees across the country were of Joe's caliber. While I'm at it, I'll add that this Home Depot location is almost always a clear cut above the other locations we've visited. I've gotten incredible customer service in nearly every section of store #4119 at some point, but I can't say I've ever been quite as impressed as I was with Joe in the lumber section tonight. I hope Home Depot does whatever it can to keep employees like Joe happy, healthy, and well compensated, as they are a rarity in today's world. I suppose it must be MEN; who assume women won't come to their establishment after nightfall. We ordered curbside pickup during COVID-19, and the young man who brought out our items had his mask on his chin, leaving his nose and mouth exposed. He asked us a question inches from our car window and had an attitude when we didn't roll down the window and spoke through the glass instead. I go to this Home Depot quite often. Most of the time everyone is very helpful and goes above and beyond. Yesterday I went to purchase a gas grill. I was out by the grills for 20 minutes as the sales people went out of their way to help the MALE customers purchase grills. When I would approach with questions while trying to make my selection they looked at me like I had 6 heads and proceeded to go find a male customer. Pissed me off. Today I will be going elsewhere to get my grill. I don't think this is typical behavior at this store but there should be some reminder training that woman buy grills and such too. read more

I tried to buy a dishwasher from Home Depot and they said it would be here on x day. They didn't call me didn't text or email me. They just didn't deliver it. I decided to wait for the next delivery day because I thought mistakes happen and I tried to be an empathetic human being. The day gets here and no contact about a time. I stay on hold for 25 minutes while they try to figure it and they hung up on me. I call back and wait another 10 minutes to be told they can't deliver it on the 2nd attempt either. So now I'm out two days of vacation and would need to be a third if I was stupid enough to wait for attempt 3. Home Depot used to be a great store. I've spent about 40k there in the last 5 years. I don't know what happened. Another case of corporations not giving a damn about their customer base. I'm gonna drive twice as far to go to Lowe's. I don't have time to always shop around so I utilize their buy online/store pick-up option very frequently. Rachelle at the pickup counter along with the others Ive dealt with have always been super nice and helpful. Everything is ready and pick up is a breeze. Returns are always painless and hassle free. Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER order an appliance or installation by Home Depot ever! I have had the absolute worst experience with purchasing a dishwasher and trying to have it installed as well. The men that arrived with the dishwasher refused to install it because they didn't like how our pipes looked. So I had to get a plumber out to our house immediately as they said they could come back if the pipes were fixed. The plumber laughed at the situation and said he could fix them but there was nothing wrong with them at all. So we paid $250 for new pipes because some guy installing a dishwasher didn't like them. Then called back to have them come back to install the dishwasher and told it would be another 4 days before they could come back out to install. Fine, scheduled. 4 days later- no call, no show. Our time slot was 1-5pm so we called at 645 and was told to call back after 7pm because "the technicians technically have a 2 hour grace period to show up" so we called back after 7 because of course they did not show up. Guess what? They close at 7 so when we called back it was jokes on us. We called the next morning and were told there was nothing they could do except schedule us again in another 4 days from now. Are you kidding? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Will never bring my business here ever again read more

Stopped in to pick up a special order door. Was instructed to call ahead once notified it had been delivered to the store. With 24 hours notice they still did not have the delivery ready to go when we arrived. The customer service desk attendants were initially more concerned with their personal business to pay mind to my experience. They redeemed themselves when they offered us a beverage after we had been waiting 10+ mins. When the door was brought to the front it had noticeable damages. Before loading in the car the gentleman assisting noticed my disappointment and suggesting going back in and seeing if their was anything they could do...possibly reorder or get the price reduced. Ultimately the reimbursed $40 to cover the inconvenience of us having to reprint the door. Neutral experience but I will probably go to Lowes in Downingtown first for my next home improvement need. read more

My big problem with this store is that it's so hard to find anything. First you have to find the right 'section ' and once you do, you have to search for the product. How are items organized within sections? Who knows? Most of the time it seems random. And even if you find the item group you need lots of times they don't have the specific one I want. For example I was searching for wifi connected lock from Schlage. They had several older models but not the newer Connect. Finding help is hit or miss. Some employees seems to know where items are but others seem as lost as I am. I think my frustration is with the whole big box concept which usually means hiring employees who are paid minimum wage, with no benefits and expecting them to care about the company! Becca at 'customer service' is the most unhelpful person I've ever come across... the entire group at the 'customer service' counter were just awful. Yes, a group... several unhelpful people in the one place where they are supposed to be most helpful! My keys were accidentally left on a cart when we switched carts bc the first had been faulty... when I was leaving and realized, I went to the counter for help, after looking where the cart had been of course. It took forever to get help bc they were literally doing nothing. Then, when I described the situation, they made me feel embarrassed by mockingly asking a different employee if they wanted to make an announcement, with a smirk on her face. Then didn't make an announcement. And went back to talking to one another, while I stood there dumbfounded that I was being blatantly ignored! Then my fiancé went in, and had to forcibly ask them to make an announcement. Then a friend who brought my spare went in trying to get help, and BECCA was making faces at him, and laughing at him! It was bizarre. She was a monster, and I will go to the end of the earth to be sure her job is gone. read more

I went in to return something on a Friday December 4th around 530 or so. Despite the holiday season approaching it was kinda dead. I was looking for a plant hook--something to mount on the wall and hang a plant. Bob in electrical was nice enough and tried to help me but not his specialty. He directed me to customer service where a lady there called someone and I was told they were "on the right in the greenhouse". It was dark and despite that I didn't see any plant hooks. Back to customer service lady. She beckoned Joe from the greenhouse. I greeted him and he just blankly looked at me. He had no idea if they had them or not and clearly wasn't going to help me. I gave customer service lady my items for return and told her that I was done trying to get help. She couldn't have cared less. I wish I had gotten her name because she should definitely NOT have such a position. Terrible experience. I'll be going to Lowes. Thanks to Bob in electrical for trying to help me. read more
