Simply put - Jen Keaveney is the island of calm - in the storm of chaos & anxiety that comes with any major home renovation project or new build. I have now done multiple, major reconstruction projects (with more on the horizon) - and I would not do any of them without Jen's involvement. In the high-end kitchen & bath plumbing market, where there are plenty of other providers in the area (with Ferguson's arguably being at the top, given it's size) - Jen is the reason we will always take our business to Weinstein. Home building and renovations come with a lot of stress. There are countless design decisions and product selections to make - all while managing to a budget & timeline. My most recent case in point... I made an appointment with Jen a week or so ago to select all of the plumbing & fixtures needed for a home renovation project we're doing in Avalon, NJ. I walked into Weinstein's frazzled, with nothing yet done on this front, and left feeling both relieved and extremely excited about what Jen and I had designed and accomplished in a relatively short amount of time. When I was exploring different fixtures, Jen would quietly remind me of the trade-offs & elements to consider with each. When I would become indecisive and waiver (which I tend to do in such a large project) - she'd bring me back to an easy answer by remembering and replaying the goals and vision of what I had laid out at the start - even when I lost sight of them. After working with Weinsteins, and in particular - sales rep, Jen Keaveney - we will not go anywhere else for our kitchen and bath needs. We recently completed major overhauls of both our kitchen and large upstairs bath, and Jen's guidance and support throughout - proved integral to our overall happiness with the outcomes. To touch on the obvious points of feedback first - (1) Weinstein's showroom is beautiful. It's always current, displaying the most on-trend designs, while also providing options at various budget points; (2) Their products are top-notch and built to last. After many years and failed experiences purchasing from big-box stores, only to have to replace faulty products within a couple of years... the investment in quality plumbing infrastructure and fixtures has proven itself time & time again - in saving money in the long run. Those items aside - what makes Weinsteins my 'go-to' is their incredibly knowledgeable staff & their customer-first business practices. Our family is THRILLED with the outcome of our kitchen and bath renovations - and Jen proved to be an integral part of the success of both. I can honestly say - major design & product mistakes & omissions would have occurred - had Jen not partnered with us throughout (and this was even with working with a top notch builder). She finds and creates solutions to make your visions come to life. As examples - after feeling frustrated that our new Thermador refrigerator did not come with a built-in, drinking water filtration system - Jen came up with the option of a separate, chilled & filtered drinking-water faucet & line - directly on our sink. This was a particularly tall-order to implement though, as we also needed the core system to work with the other plumbing fixtures already selected. Jen scoured her sources and found us two universal chilling/filtration systems - with infrastructure that would work with our selected Brio fixtures (and worked with her Plumbing Supply manager to confirm the solution's success with confidence). She provided a further design optimization solution in suggesting to our contractor that they install the base filtration unit on a shelf in the basement - to ensure we still had plenty of usable storage space in our under-sink cabinetry. Our builder, himself, was so impressed with the complete solution - that he later opted to install it in his own family's home. As another example of Jen's above and beyond design knowledge and expertise - her guidance ultimately led us to revamping the already set layout of our shower and entire bathroom. While picking the fixtures themselves, Jen questioned some of the details in the design - which led us to realizing that we ultimately had a less-then ideal design & were not optimizing the space to it's best potential; (And again - this was while working with a top-end builder who we equally respect and will always work with.) Jen just has a level of knowledge and expertise in the kitchen and bath space that is so valuable to any renovation project; And she goes above and beyond just "selling" - to really helping you create solutions that ultimately make your finished projects the best they can be. As a last point of feedback, all major renovations come with some issues. In the one instance where we had an issue with the plumbing hardware, several months after the kitchen was complete - Jen and the Weinstein's team managed it with a very customer-first focus. They provided a replacement product within days, and managed all of the backend warranty details with the manufacturer directly - not requiring our involvement in any part. I live a ways away from the West Chester branch of Weinstein's and so I decided to spec out my bathroom via the Kohler and Moen websites first, then see if they could order the merchandise for me. I originally reached out to a couple of local suppliers via their websites, but Weinstein's was the only place to follow-up with me. Jennifer K. called me the next business day and was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Originally, I was just going to order my Kohler products from Weinstein's, but she told me she could do the whole thing for all of the manufacturers I had selected for my bathroom remodel. And so with very little fuss and on a tight timeline, I ordered several custom Kohler pieces and all the Moen fixtures I wanted as well. Jennifer also kept me up to date with status too so I always had a handle on when the items would be in so that I could coordinate my contractor and the tile installation. As it would turn out, I had the contractor from (heck). Although I had paid for delivery, the custom shower base needed to come sooner and Jennifer made sure I was able to take it from the warehouse. They actually were able to load the 245-pound cast iron base into the back of my Subaru Outback with a forklift and did not damage whatsoever (a small miracle as far as I'm concerned). When the contractor broke one of the custom Kohler glass doors during the install and tried to hide it from me (don't ask!) I fired him. And then I turned to Jennifer to help me figure out how to get the replacement glass and hardware I'd needed. All of which she helped me do. She took some info from me, contacted Kohler, and called me back within an hour to tell me that all was on order, where it would be delivered, set my expectations about turn-around times, and expressed genuine empathy for the headaches I had to go through. Only 2 stars because they had a nice selection. The employees aren't worth a dime they are paying them. Upon entering the store the guy at the front continued to read his book and not even look up at me until i said "excuse me" I was the only person in the store, he obviously chose to ignore me. When I asked for help he looked up annoyed and said "oh" then called Stella from the back. She showed me a few different options and I asked her the difference between 2 faucets I narrowed down to. She said "one is a Moen and the other is Kohler" Really??? Thanks for that. That was a truly helpful answer. I left and sent her an email shortly after asking if they could order something for me. Poor customer service. Very attentive until they receive payment then manager Gina never returned calls. Wouldn't return calls re: delivery until 15 minutes before item showed up. "Forgot" to deliver hardware for item and never said anything about it. Plumber discovered they were missing and when I called they said "oh yeah, someone left it on our counter". After rennovating a whole house this was our only issue and they were horrible. For the money that we spent you would think a courtesy call back wouldn't be too much to ask. She only called back after leaving a voicemail to threaten to decline the charge on the credit card. Wouldn't use them again. read more

My husband and I went in there to do a renovation of our master bath. We did not know where to start. The sales associates in the showroom were so helpful. They asked us questions about our project and helped us make some initial desicions so that selecting the rest of the fixtures was a breeze. I worked with Gena who seems to have years of experience in this stuff. She introduced us to Jen who is going to help us with the design and layout of our upcoming kitchen project. It seems to me that everyone had a part in the showroom and offered different bits of knowledge as we went along. I am so happy to have visted there on a whim. They had everything we needed and its not too overwhleming. I would have given it 5 stars except the pricing is slightly higher on some items then you might find on the internet or other stores. However, We were willing to pay that to get the peace of mind that all of the products were of high quality and there were no missing parts. The extra is well worth it. read more

Maybe it's the extra people in the house taking long showers, but the timing always seems to work out this way - Friday afternoon the week before Christmas, and the boiler breaks down - pilot won't start and I guess I need a new ignition assembly. As I pull up to Weinstein I see only one other car in the parking lot, and I am thinking maybe this won't take too long...the guy in the other car walks up and says, "Sorry, we just closed up, can I help you with something?". He unlocks the store, turns the lights back on, fires up the computer and helps figure out exactly which ignition assembly I need. Too bad I'm the only one who got to witness how this guy demonstrated the Christmas spirit and goodwill to all. The boiler started right up and our house will be warm and cozy this Christmas. The showroom manager, Gena, is the worst at customer service. She promises delivery dates and then won't return your call/email when things are late. Rather than let a customer wonder the status of the order - let them know items are backordered so they can make another selection. We spent well over $10,000 and thought we deserved return calls within a couple of days but her email was down, she didn't get our voicemails, was really busy. . . the excuses were endless. Prices are cheaper at faucetsdirect.com (we saved $120 on a Kohler faucet alone); they have faster delivery and stand behind their products. Did I have a bad experience - absolutely - and my parents were renovating at the same time and had the same experience. Our suggestion - check them out and then order somewhere else.
