Remolding my master bath Home Depot was our go to after looking at many options elsewhere. Good value and products. I have to say I was blown away by the customer service recovery done by ast. manager Angelina (sp) and her helper Angela. After a delivery man delivered a large heavy item to the curb. I called the store as I was not able to even drag the item into my yard and home. The 2 young ladies showed up and moved this big heavy item into my home. Wow what great customer service. Thank you home Depot for having these 2 great ladies at your store. They fixed the problem and kept me as a loyal customer. read more

What could improve??? Service could improve. I walk in and the guy in appliances is taking down the sale signs. I asked if we missed a sale and he said yes it was over yesterday. I hope if someone bought something today they honored their signs. Anyway, I tell the guy I need a stove like now. He proceeds to tell me I could take a floor model (which is fine) or we could order it. It could even be delivered in the next couple of days. But then, as I'm looking at the stoves he takes off down the aisle with his old sale signs and disappears. At that point I was out. Don't freaking walk away when I'm right there to buy something. Now I have to listen to my husband complain about how we should've gone to the one by the house rather than being loyal to the one we bought the original stove at 14 years ago. read more

i was in the paint section needed white paint for my ceiling young girls look like they were 16 working the paint section promised me my paint would be white but when i got home it was a dark gray clearly they need to hire some older men more educated on paint. read more

The location at 2140 N Jupiter Rd has bad costumer service. Just wasted 30 minutes for someone in wiring in aisle 38. They paged the person 4 times. The person never show up. Hopefully Lowe's will be better. Update: I went to Lowe's in Richardson. It took me only 8 minutes while the guy found the kind of wire, cut it and I pay. Literally all in 8 minutes. read more

Came to Home Depot to get some key copies. Asked cashier and he pointed me out someone that can help, went up to bob said excuse me twice since he ignored me the first time. Told him if he could help me make some copies he said you can do it yourself, so I walked off he came up behind and said well I guess I can do it for you. Told him what I needed and catched an attitude. So if you go and need key copies stay away from bobs bald ass. read more

They lock everything up it seems even sub $100 items then you are not allowed to hold the item once it is unlocked they have to escort you directly to the cashier so that you can pay. Doesn't matter if you have more shopping to do. Additionally if you can find someone to unlock it chances are they won't have the key. Bad business to treat everyone a thief. Especially not cool when they they are a contractor like me who spends hundreds their a month. read more

I have shopped at Home Depot for many years and have seen their service go down over time. I am a veteran and have received a discount until recently. Now they tell me they no longer honor veterans. Therefore, I now do all of my shopping at Lowe's because they honor veterans with a discount and they're closer to my home. Thank you. read more

Worst customer service & follow up! Can't get a competent person in store to assist. (Told measuring would be next day but did not tell us we must pay for measurement service before we left store- no mention of charge at all). Next day, we stay home waiting for call. When we call store they say - we'd to pay so give cc# over phone. All good - measure people will call. Next day - no call. Call store- manager will call us back. No call. NEXT DAY - we call store again, they give us measurement service phone number and tell US to call them. (Isn't this the responsibility of the store? Why are we even using them at all???). We call measuring service - no answer. Don't use Home Depot. The frustration just isn't worth it. And.... we are stockholders in this company but doesn't seem a good investment any longer. read more

I hate going to Home Depot, I keep buying stuff. Even stuff that I don't need or think I need for that matter. LOL. This place is great. It is like a Lowes counter part but usually on the opposite ends of the town. Was greeted 2 times before stepping into the building and then asked if I needed help a couple more times from different people. That is nice. It was clean and laid out easy to read the isle signs. They usually carry a better selection of plants/flower/trees than Lowes, but we shall see when the Spring rolls around. read more

I'll leave out the details, just saying that Dave in the paint department gave us unparalleled customer service. What he did for us was totally unexpected and was definitely above and beyond. Seemed like just another day in the park for him. This will always , because of him, be our "go to" store. read more

The Home Depot is always more busy than Lowes. It's like a Walmart compared to a Target. Walmart has more people going through it every hour, so it will be less clean than the Target store in the same area. This is true for The Home Depot also. That being said, this store is pretty clean. The bathroom isn't as nice (at this location) as some I have been to. It's not always clean, there seems to be zero ventilation, and the markings in the stalls need to be covered. As for the store.. It's good. You can get slammed with "Can I help you" if you go during their "Power Hour" where they make people chase you down.. All to boost sales. The downside... The cashiers are slow. The Pro Desk has stressed out people working at it. The carts all seem to have been hit by a semi... Bent every which way. If you don't require a lot of assistance when you are there, this is a good store. If you don't have a clue about what you need, ask an older associate. This place has a lot of younger people who will guide you in the wrong direction, look at you with a dumbfounded look on their face, or ignore you because they are too busy talking to a coworker. The associates who will help, generally are older. Unless you find Philip in garden. That is one good kid. Ed in hardware is older, but he sure will take you right where you need to be... And make sure you get the correct item for the job. read more

Worst lumber department ever. Waited 20 minutes before leaving their saw section. I needed pieces cut and nobody ever showed up. They called the crew around 5 times and I even told multiple employees I needed help and nobody ever helped. What a disgrace. read more

I can spend hours walking the aisles just to see everything they offer yet everything is so well labeled so I don't have to. Costumer service seems better at this location than others I've been to. At least one employee asks if I need any help every visit. read more

Warning to Home Depot shoppers: Do not purchase an extended warranty from HD. If your product has a manufacturer's recall they will claim they have no obligation in honoring the warranty. You get stuck between the manufacturer and HD with neither honoring their obligations and both pointing fingers at the other. Buy from Lowe's. They don't have this practice of deceptively screwing their customers. They honor their warranties. read more

Employees Jerry, Keith, Jackie and Paul were very helpful! I had a million and one questions, and they took their time with me and explained everything to me. They didn't try to take an advanced of me, by trying to get me to buy unnecessary stuff and the most expensive item. Instead they gave me tips on what will help me to save money! Because of their helpfulness, I feel good about doing more home projects. #will be returning! read more

This store is the best. i so appreciate and am thankful for the Paint Department staff. At first I thought it was just one employee, but after time and time again needing stuff for our remodel, I realized it was the whole department. tried to get blind slats cut on 01/19/19. waited for someone to help after 20 minutes of waiting went and found a guy. h e came over spent 15 minutes trying to cut them and left to find someone to help him.waited 5 more minutes then i left . spend $9,000 dollars here few ears ago buying blind i will never return. went to lowes they had them cut in 5 minutes. read more

Richard in the plumbing section has provided me some of the best customer service I've EVER received! I'm one of the least handy people around, and he's taken the time to understand exactly what my problems have been (two separate issues a couple months apart, and he even recognized me the second time!) and then thoroughly explain what I needed to do in layman's terms. By the end of today's explanation, I even felt like I should pay some tuition for the lesson! A seriously fantastic guy and a real asset to Home Depot! read more
