Excellent Service! My autistic boy is so in love with the Holiday Goofy with all his favorite song. Unfortunately all of them sold out at most of the store. He is ver sad. I called all the stores around to look for one but people on the phone are not pleasant to talk to until I met CARLO. He is very sweet and great customer service over the phone. If I could of left 0 stars, I would have. I made over a 1000 dollar purchase to be delivered, I requested a later delivery and was told a few things like the driver would reach out an hour before he started heading my way. I have the call log on my phone, he called at 1:37pm and left a note on my door saying he arrived at 2pm and departed at 2:18pm, so even if I made it home within the hour, he would of been gone. I was thinking they take my note into consideration regarding their routing, given the fact they had 3 days to plan this out since I made the purchase on Saturday, I was the first one on the list to be delivered to. So no one took notice of the note made or no one even cared enough. The driver called and asked when I would be home, after my response, he said, that's not going to work for me. That royally pissed me off. As the customer, whose spending 1000 plus, to have said products, you would think Home Depot and this third party could be more accommodating, especially when it's the customers that keep you guys in business. After that, I reached out and eventually spoke to a female manager, her solution eventually, was for me to pick up the products at the store or get my money back (something like that). At this point in our conversation, I was done. why is the customer having to do leg work in this situation that you guys caused, all you had to do was read my note and not make me the first destination. The female manager told me she had to speak with a logistics person; so we disconnected. After, I never got a call back from her. I got a random notification saying my delivery was rescheduled to Friday without my permission or thoughts, it was just done. I still don't know if she talked to the delivery service, maybe she was able to get a later delivery, i don't know, because nothing was communicated. I get a call from a guy later on by the name Harrison, and tells me he can't guarantee me a delivery window, and I go back & forth with him telling him I don't want the same thing to happen on Friday, unless, I could have a later delivery because I work, which is how I was able to buy the product, otherwise, it's pointless for all 3 parties to continue scheduling this. My last request was just to change it to Saturday 21st of march 2026, as of right now , I have no notifications regarding the request, so yeah. By far the worst experience I've had....so far. read more

I just wanted to convey the terrible experience I had at the Home Depot in Mansfield, TX. First was I was in there Thursday last week to buy some stain for a trailer wood decking. Had a simple question about what I needed, stood at the paint counter with zero acknowledgment even after waiting for the person to be helped in front of me. Stared at them for about 5-10 minutes and just gave up. While I was there, I saw a sign showing the 11' LED umbrella on sale for $449. Fast forward to Sunday when I return to buy the umbrella with my wife only to discover that the sale price was only the tan one. Well there is NO indication of it being a single color. I've attached the picture of it to this. I figured it was just not ringing up correctly and when that wasn't the case, asked to speak to a manager. I told them it was obviously unclear. There was no tan ones around other than the display. (which is how it was when I was there Thursday). Basically told, "oh well" rudely. Now I've seen things in the wrong location with the incorrect label on it and think nothing of it. This sign had no indication that it was for on particular color. The only thing that I got out of it was that I no longer need to shop at Home Depot. Lowes had an almost identical one $100 off as well, but they didn't try to be deceptive by applying it to only one color way. read more

Great customer service every visit but I had to recognize the staff on July 14, 2018. We were there around 11-1230pm and my husband had to return a gas tank with no receipt. He had just purchased it but needed a different one. We were shopping in store today so a store credit would suffice. We were greeted by a sweet Lady behind the counter and a Male associate next to the counter. They helped us quickly and were friendly. Shortly after, I found myself looking at succulents. I ended up with an Aloe Vera that was already potted! Under $5. Perfect for indoor use. Can't pass by these succulents without scoring a deal for something cute and easy to take care of! We checked out in the garden center and my husband had a few questions. The cashier was very knowledgeable. I have often been helped by him and can say, he is now my go to. I have a love-hate relationship with this HD. It's been hit-or-miss with everything from customer service, to product availability and quality, to the part that's been getting my goat lately: delivery. We bought a Samsung washer/dryer set from here, plus stainless steel hoses (additional $20)on April 9th. 1st delivery, the next Sat: got the dryer but refused washer because of a dent on the front bottom. 2nd delivery: They called DH's number even after I put my number down as the new contact. He was at work and didn't get the messages until after they came and left. 3rd attempt: Delivery company brought a washer with an even bigger dent and the delivery guys insisted we hang onto it. Uh...NO. (Don't ever sign for damaged items, people, unless you're cool with it as is.) After that, I called Home Depot to find other alternatives for getting the washer and was told that delivery is the only viable option for this particular one, unless we wanted to cancel. I said "No, we'll give them another chance. This will be the THIRD washer so Please ask them to be careful!" So no changes should have been made besides some notes about extra precaution in transit. A week passes and we don't get the usual heads-up phone call from the delivery company to let us know when they are coming. DH calls Samsung and...there's NO delivery scheduled for us. Anywhere. Neither to the house nor to the store. Not this week and not EVER. Someone between Home Depot, Samsung, and the delivery company (all separate companies btw) dropped the ball; but here, let us help y'all out by rescheduling ourselves. 4th attempt: Dent-free!! They hooked it up, started it and left with instructions to keep an eye on it just in case the water floods. 30 mins later, it was done. So more than a month after we purchased it, we finally have a complete w/d set! Without the stainless steel hose. read more

She got everything fixed while having a coworker pull my order. Within minutes the bags of mulch and other bulky items were loaded in my SUV and I was on my way. We're at the height of a global pandemic and this location is not enforcing a mask policy in their store. They literally have someone at the door welcoming in unmasked customers without even asking them to put one. Tons of customers walking around inside without masks. When I asked the manager, she said they would rather have the county fine them and shut them down to avoid a physical conflict with a customer. She insists it's corporate policy, and you can't even call corporate it says the customer service line is disconnected. Are you serious? Hiring a security guard is cheaper than being shut down by the county. ..... Companies like this are why we will never be going back to normal. read more

Home Depot gets 3 stars but I have to make sure I acknowledge an employee who went out of his way to help me. For that, I give Levi 5 stars! I typically go to Ace; even though they are usually a little more expensive, they always go out of their way to help anytime I go in there. I had to go to Home Depot this time though, as I was needing to get some wood cut. On the first trip I made, I let the guy know that the piece needed to be cut to a very specific measurement, meaning it couldn't even be a millimeter off. He never bothered to mark it, only "eyed" the measurements. He then proceeded to pull the piece out before it had finished, resulting in a piece that was far from straight. I took it home, and of course, it didn't fit. I went back 2 days later, and after waiting for a few minutes by the wood cutting machine, went to ask for help. I was told they'd send someone over. I went back and waited for another 5 minutes or so. A manager was coming towards me and I again requested assistance, but he ended up helping a couple who had just walked up instead. I had now been waiting for almost 10 minutes. Finally, an associate named Levi helped us. He took the time to mark it, but due to most likely a mistake on my part, I brought it home and it was still 2 millimeters too long. So, I went back a 3rd time and was happy to have Levi help again. He recommended starting over with a new piece. Unfortunately, they didn't have any on the floor. Levi, however, went out of his way to find them. They were in a pallet that required him to get a fork lift -- he did all this for a $5 piece of wood, and I am very appreciative. So, as I stated previously, Levi absolutely gets 5 stars!!! Thank you so much for your help! (And I should also mention Luis, who helped with the fork lift to get what I needed!) As for this location in general, there have been times in the past where I've been made to feel like I'm inconveniencing the employees by asking for help! I almost always have to go out of my way to find help, and am usually pushed onto another employee, who may or may not show up to help, often resulting in having to ask for help more than once. Step it up, Home Depot. Your customer service overall is lacking. Maybe you should have someone from Ace come and show you how it's done! read more

Wanted to buy an assembled grill on the floor but it was stainless steel with scratches so. The lid. They wouldn't discount 5% and they won't build a new one until Tuesday. The women that works here told me that there was one assembled in the box I could take home if I wanted. I come back to get it and they have me waiting forty five minutes before telling me they don't have one. Then I have to find the store manager and tell him not even two hours ago the women in the department told me they have them in the box. So now I'm at 55 minutes waiting for the grill. A lame apology. Again no discount or anything f for poor customer service. Although I will say the lady that helped me earlier, I'm sorry I didn't read anyone's names, was really helpful. But the manager on duty was not truly apologetic and I think a big box store can afford a 10% discount for poor customer service. I should not have to be waiting an hour parked in front for them to bring me a box and they should communicate bette because one employee told me there's a un assembled grills in a box while another employee told the manager there aren't any and the manager didn't go to look himself. Meanwhile no one came out to tell me I had to go in and ask for a third time and that's when they told me! So.... My 76 year old mom and two teens in the car waiting with me for this time and hungry for dinner because it is now past 8pm. And I paid for this thing in advance! So I'm typing this is real time. Another ten minutes have gone by and no grill. At this rate I should get the discount and an assembled one delivered to my house for free! Total time one hour and twenty minutes! the theme song is undeniably catchy i will say... the beat and rhythm goes hard. however, i will always be a lowe's stan. the orange is just ugly and i think there needs to be a change made. look at lowe's and see how pretty that blue is. that's how they have more business than y'all. also, y'all tend to hire jerks there. there's one person in the wood department that i have a problem with. however that is a personal issue so i will not penalize the company for this. even tho y'all are the ones that hired him. anyway, i also think the font that is used is ugly and should be changed. the stores set up makes no sense to me and it should be reorganized. i have no trouble finding my way around lowe's so again, take some pointers from them. there always seems to be people on forklifts at home depot and i think that needs to change because it is unsafe. do you really sell that much wood? i don't think so. i know lowe's probably does. i expect improvement from y'all. if you need help just call lowe's. i do like the dino light i bought there tho. 10/10 keep it up read more

Online order with curbside pick up is a big joke. They try to do everything to make it harder for online customers so that people come into the store and buy items. They changed the minimum to $20 and it takes a long time after you order for the items to be ready and to be notified. When you reach the store and if you are using the app it may tell you that you are at the Abilene store or some other far away location. All the attempts to have your items delivered to your car whether using phone or by text nine times out of 10 don't work. You can save a lot of time and frustration by just walking into the store and buying the items yourself. read more

I actually prefer this location since they provide tool rentals, however today was not a good day. I am trying to remove paint from a peeling front door and went to the paint section, checked out the paint thinner section. They had many different kinds of paint thinner and I wasn't sure which one would work best for my project. I decided to go up to the paint counter and explained to the man I needed something to remove paint from my aluminum door, I was told "just read," I said yes and I told him I just came from the paint thinner section and was not sure. He said "well read, because I am not sure." They had options for paint thinners from acetone to xylene, some said you can use on metal, but would that be recommended in this heat on a aluminum? I did not say this to him but I just said thank you and walked back over there. He came over to where I was a few seconds later and picked a larger can of what I had in my hands already and told me to get "this" and use gloves. I think I figured it out, but we shall see, I just expected better customer service, kind of a bummer. read more

I went to Home Depot today to get some soil and some garden plants. Of course you had to wait in line, which is fair, given the pandemic, and that's not a problem. The problem is that the two women who were supposed to be monitoring the outging traffic and letting people in were running their mouths at each other, with their backs turned to the line and the entrance. When I got to the front of the line, I saw five different people exit the building. The women monitoring the traffic had their backs turned and did not see. When I commented to one of them that people are leaving and I think I can probably go in now, she had a foul attitued and told me that those were employees, because employees wear red shirts or orange smocks. However her assertion that the people leaving were employees was patently false. The people who left the building were in regular clothes, and how would she know what the people were wearing if her back was turned and she was talking to her friend? She was very rude to me. On another occasion about three weeks ago, I went to Home Depot to get some soil ammendments (peat moss, garden soil, compost, etc). I ended up with thirty large bags. When we pulled around the front to load them up in my truck, there were multiple male employees standing right there just chatting with each other, and they just stood there and watched my 62 year old mother and I load those 30 bags into the back of my truck, talking and joking and laughing all the while. Lowes is slightly farther away from my house, but I will be going there in the future. I won't be back to Home Depot. They have terrible customeer service, the employees are more interested in socializing than working, they don't pay attention the the jobs they are supposed to be doing, and they can even be quite rude. No thanks. I won't be back. I wish somebody from Home Depot would read these reviews, because I see a lot of one star reviews about this location all mentioning the terrible customer service. I love going to this home depot location! The staff here are so nice and helpful every single time I am here! They seem like they really enjoy their time at their job and are so glad to help you with anything you need. I haven't had any problems finding any items here other than a screwdriver small enough for a phone, but there was one that we found that was almost as small and it did the job just fine. read more

First of all let me say this is not a review for the actual store itself. Yes it's frustrating to try and ask a question and can't find anyone to help but that's pretty much all retail now. It's not even about the inventory discrepancies that all super stores have. It says there's two of something on hand but you get there and there's none. It's an inconvenience but not something to write a bad review for. What is worthy of a bad review is buying something online just to get there and have 4-5 store associates standing there on their phones not waiting on customers. When they finally do "help" they ask one of the young people on their phones to please go get this for you and they reply, "No", and mean it. You ask to speak to the mgr and the mgr apologizes for them and tries to help you then finds out that they actually don't have what you paid for. They refund your money but nothing is ever said about the young person's behavior. I'd say that was an epic failure and The Home Depot needs to know how their store is being managed and what kind of help they're hiring. Yet again this location is disappointing with their lack of customer service. On impulse went to go buy a new xmas tree. Pre-lit floor model. All the other display trees had boxes marked display, yet the one I wanted didn't have a box. 2 associates nearby were taking displays down and cutting up. Walked over to customer service desk to inquire for assistance. She called "garden" and 1 of the 2 guys that watched me walk over to the desk and saw me looking at the trees answered the call. Waited while 1 of them finally walked over. Asked about a discount for floor model/no box. "You need to ask the cashier" was what I was told. There happened to be another guy walking up to the cs desk for another customer. The lady pointed to me saying I had a ? Re a last 1 tree. We walked over and he said 20%. Ok....the 2 guys started to take it apart and proceeded to lob it into a cart of misc stuff. It had a bunch of that white fake stuff at the base for display and had gotten everywhere. I asked if they could make sure that was cleared off the tree. Half attempt was made. I feel like I was a bother and I was getting in the way of their "tasking". There was no care taken in the disassemble. Needless to say they saved me...didn't buy it due to the lack of care and basic disregard of not wanting to help. Way to go...instead you get a bad review. Home Depot is definitely the place to visit when you need home repair, updating, or just want to change things up. Most people think Home Depot only sells paint or tools but they sell so much more. I have gone to Home Depot to buy a ladder, bug killer, spray paint, a steam mop, and many other items. When you walk in the door you're greeted. As you encounter employees throughout the store and ask for help, they are more than willing to help you and point you in the right direction. Checking out is a breeze with the self checkout stations and the regular cash registers. Every employee I've encountered at this store over the last several years has been incredibly helpful and nice. While I'm no handy girl with a tool belt, I am a fan of Home Depot. Next time I have a home emergency, I will be returning to this Home Depot to resolve the issue. read more

The store is huge, so it is hard to find what you are looking for, and sometimes the employees can send you to the wrong place, but at least they try and they do help you even if they themselves get lost! When they were releasing my order, they were also criticizing my orders in front of me ? They told me to wait outside and that my order will be arriving soon to my truck. I waited for 30 minutes in which I saw no one came to assist. I went back and they told me that they ran out of the tiles that I needed, and to go to another location. How poorly the service is that they cannot even walk outside for a few minutes to announce this to me. I would give zero stars if I could. Will here, not sure who to blame but we ordered a washer and dryer (Samsung) brand. The process to order was great, the associate in appliances was very helpful and she set up our delivery date. Well that delivery date was two weekends ago! Seems HomeDepot had the wrong cell number but also didn't call the second number on file. The washer and dryer were no longer in stock, and HomeDepot was waiting to here from Samsung. Apparently the delivery process is all contracted and not apart of HomeDepot. So we had to work with Samsung to figure out when they would have the appliances delivered. After four calls/transfers/departments, we have a new delivery date with an upgraded washer and dryer. We hope it comes this week. read more

Every time I've been to Home Depot the service was quick and friendly IF an employee was available. There were only a couple of times where I felt like I caught an employee on their way to their lunch break or end of their shift and answering my question was an inconvenience to them. But every other time the service was great. This location is always neat and tidy like every other Home Depot I've visited. I can't really comment on how helpful the service is with more complicated issues because every time I've been my questions were pretty straight forward. Just needed to know where a part or tool was located. In terms of store knowledge, the staff has been 100% with pointing me in the right direction. Prices are standard. I think Lowe's has slightly better prices in general, but this Home Depot is really close to my house so I don't mind the negligible extra cost considering the amount of time and gas that I'm saving. read more
