Sabrina went above and beyond helping me cut my pieces of wood so they would fit perfectly in my car. She was incredibly kind, patient, and so helpful--even helping me load and organize my cart so everything was easy to manage when checking out. Truly exceptional service! Rena was just as wonderful. She was personable, friendly, and super thorough, making sure every detail of my purchase was correct. It's rare to find people who genuinely care about their customers the way she did. They push their "Home Depot" card but don't divulge that it's a "citibank" card. When your information is compromised, each blames the other, so...either homedepot or citibank or both do not safeguard customer information. People like Billey, Jeff, Gabby, all the people in the paint department - literally everyone - goes out of their way to help you! I went there in uniform, didn't even get asked by some lady who was talking on her phone with air pods in. You are at work, in retail, why are you talking on your phone one, secondly she wouldn't even run my phone number for my account and told me to pull it up on my app. I will not be using Home Depot as a result of this experience, I've never dealt with such don't give a fuck attitude from someone who works a a Home Depot. He was running around asking people about a charger for the display model claiming up and down ladders looking for the damn thing. Called multiple times to check on the availability of a product. A manager told me he could not help because he was going on lunch break. He took my number and said he'd call back. Never got a call. I called back later that day, and spoke with a girl who was beyond rude. Sarcastically lied to me about policies and basically told me I was not important and that I would have to come to the physically come to the store to see if they had stock. We had bought a dishwasher from Home Depot in Gulfport, Mississippi we went to the store manager after we found it had a slow leak in the drain hose that I had fixed by myself just by switching out the hose at 10pm. The small leak had gotten under our wood flooring and ruined about 6 foot by 20 foot section. I searched high and low before finding out it had be discontinued. Replacement would have cost 5k. The manager of the Gulfport, Mississippi store didn't send the claim information to the installation contractor for a month. We didn't find the leak for 2 months. Guess what I got stuck with that bill. I recommend going to the Biloxi Mississippi or Lowes, or Philips. Better to do it right the first time than do it multiple times, and it's cheaper. read more

The over-the-phone service is AWFUL. You're waiting an average 15 minutes to speak to someone, & when they finally answer- it's useless. My husband has been hung up on FIVE times in the last hour. Use any other location, just not this Home Depot!! read more

This location receives 1 star because they give you PISS POOR SERVICE. My girlfriend went to purchase a lawnmower to surprise me since we just moved into a house. It took her 30min to get an associate to help her because they were stacked high as a girafes ass, and she couldn't pull it down by herself. Their excuse was, oh someone will be with you because they are all in the back. In the back doing what? On Instagram and TikTok? OK. She asked if she could get some help putting it in her Equinox, since she is disabled. Again, oh someone will be right there to help you madame. She waited an additional 20min. So, she asked an associate that was outside, and his reply was, "I'm on break". WTF. This is the kind of service you receive after spending your HARD EARNED MONEY that pays their wages, and that's how à customer is treated? She put the damn thing in by herself and hurt her back. Where do they do that at? Too bad you can't sue for laziness and disgusted. In my opinion, when you go to the other Guy, "Lowe's", that treat you with the respect you should receive as a patron at their establishment. Home Depot sucks like a $3 hooker on a Friday. We decided, if they are the only home improvement store that has an item in stock that is hard to find, we will use duct tape, superglue, bubblegum, or JB Weld to make do until the other stores have it in stock. read more

The Anderson windows are a great price with Home Depot, but be prepared to deal with terrible customer service and a not my problem attitude from managers and staff. We ordered our windows in November and were supposed to get them in February. Almost the end of March and no one seems to know what is going on or the status of delivery for the remainder of our windows. They say they will call me back when they need to check on something, but I have yet to receive one return call. I did get an email once stating that someone would call me back, but that call never came. They delivered a partial order in the pouring rain when I told them that it was going to be storming all morning, then act like it is my fault that the construction site is a sloppy mess. I mean pretty much everyone has access to the weather forecast. The only person who has kept their word and actually just returned my call while I was writing this review, is Leroy. Managers and customer service, you could learn a few things about building trust and showing respect to your customers from Leroy. Word to the wise, it is probably worth paying extra through a different Anderson vendor. read more

Had a good experience around Christmas time. But the staff doesn't seem very informed. One questioned the validity of my price matching app on my iPhone. Said I could have just made it up. She eventually asked her manager who approved it immediately. Visited again today and felt like the only employee who knew how to help me was the one I asked where the restroom was. I asked one if they stocked marble and she talked in circles and told me they order from somewhere else. When I asked of they could get me some in small sizes she didn't bother to listen and told me they didn't stock it. I got it the first time. Another employee I asked where the barbecues where located and she just said "uhhh." And told me they had some outside. I do like the military discount and the store is very clean and well staffed. I just haven't gotten an overwhelming sense of knowledge or care from the employees I've spoken to. Also the location stinks! But maybe with some pressure to know more about the store and training to listen better this could be a great store. read more

Good prices but terrible follow thru. Getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare. I still have no resolve for my refrigerator. Freezer and refrigerator door or both misalign and grind every time they are opened. Never received the feet or had the feet installed on my dryer so I shimmied it with a pack of matches. And somehow the light in my oven burned out after 7 weeks of owning it and on the third time of using it. Have tried speaking to management on numerous occasions. I purchased a whirl pool dryer and washer. It took two weeks to get the dryer and I'm going into the third month waiting for the washing machine. I ordered it April 12th, 2020 and the delivery has been delayed twice. I now have a possible date of 19 June. To make matters worse, the warehouse is in Louisiana less than 100 miles away from Gulfport. I called the Gulfport store to talk to the store manager but of course Ashley said she would help me the same person I talked to about the dryer. To make a long story short, she told me what I wanted to hear and said she would call me back. It's now been two days since she said she would help and no call back. I would think twice before ordering appliances from the Gulfport store. They only have a limited number of appliances onsite. read more

Typical home depot with all the tools, building material, and stuff you need around the home and work cite. After Katrina getting help in the store was impossible, That was 4.5 years ago and service has greatly improved. Getting someone on the phone is a bit difficult but calling the prodesk has always worked for me. I fax my order over and have picked up. No problem. Everyone ask if they can help you but as soon as you say yes they start complaining. We asked for loading assistance with a large item and the cashier never called for it. Then I asked someone else who asked the same cashier to call. She made a smart comment and paged someone after 10 minutes of waiting. They never came and we managed to get the item in the car. If you are looking for a home repair big store I suggest the cedar lake home depot or the D'iberville Lowes. I have to say Rae from Gulfport store is awesome but everyone else there wouldn't have the capability to door greet at Wal-Mart. Spent $3600 in windows electrical wire toilets etc. I arrived at the pro-desk for checkout 10 min till close (as a business owner a $3600 sale is worth a few more min of time and courtesy. NOT here). Scratched windows robot manager refused to give any discount... okay no biggie....the skinny bimbo and old hag assisting Rae were very rude and accused us of trying to stealing 3 sodas.... are you kidding me????? you locked the door and my family wanted out for fresh air as the 45 min wait was nearly as bad as pulling teeth. Remember you are Mississippians known for your hospitality and charm. And to top it all off she over charged me for 1 extra window so now I have to go back to the store to see what is next. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS HOME DEPOT A AGAIN! (AND IM A PRO MEMBER) NOTE TO THE CAPTAIN OF THIS SPACE SHIP: 1.) Premote Rae. (very helpful and customer oriented lady) 2.) Clean the slate of anyone who cant represent your establishment in a professional manner. 3.) Better inform your crew on what their job actually is and let 1 person do the job without needing the help of 4 others... after-all its a scanner and a cash register.... 4.) you will be please to know Hoods building supply was very happy to take my $6,700 for cabinets and tubs the day after... Yelpers my advice is steer clear from this inconsiderate establishment. Update: I recently returned to the store to discuss order details and the night manager (African American male) forgot his name sorry. I have visited this Home Depot many many times over the last 2 years. I have always been waited on by helpful people. Heavy items were loaded and unloaded for me without complaint. You can mitigate the traffic issue somewhat by better choosing what time you visit and by going out the second access, not the one closest to the light. I had an excellent experience with the paint person. I also recommend getting the app on your phone, very helpful in locating items to save your feet. One star subtracted because they really need a couple more people on the floor. I continue to prefer this Home Depot over Lowes. read more
