At first it was a Steven helping us out really nice and helpful while we were renting out a machine. we went to get some items when we came back "mr.Louis" was the one helping us out but hated the way he approached us and his attitude was so shitty. when we were going to pay i had asked him why there was two different totals which we just wanted to make sure that wasn't the total we were going to pay but his response itself was so ugly made it seem like he thought he had power over us. overall i felt like he was just being racist towards us. i have never made such a bad review but i really needed to say it read more

Home depot is like the Walmart of hardware stores. Large, plenty of items to choose from but hard to get help. Today. I came in needing some lumber for small project I'm working on. I knew ahead of time what I needed I just need it to be cut to the proper measurements. Grabbed a cart, 4 long pieces of lumber and then proceeded to walk around the next 20 minutes to find someone who works in the department to cut the lumber to the size I needed. Finally found someone after 20 minutes and then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes because the guy I found was pretty tied up with another customer. He asked my nicely to wait by the saw and he would come help me after finishing up with his current customer. It seemed like he was the only one working in the department, which is pretty foolish during the weekend. Anyway, he came back in about 15 minutes, and apologized for the wait. He got my measurements, marked the boards accordingly and cut the wood to my specifics measurements. I offered him a $5 as a tip but he declined and said he was just doing his job and a handshake was good enough. Cool guy if you ask me! read more

My wife and I were shopping online at The Home Depot and found a nice washer and dryer set for our house. We wanted to see what it looked like in person though so we went to this location since it was the closest to us. Once we got there we found an even better washer and dryer for about the same. We were so excited that we got a new microwave as well. The only problem was that when were being rung up the price wasn't coming up properly in the register as it was marked in the store. With the help of Maribel, Keara, Tonya, and Scott we were able to get the issue resolved really quickly and they even gave it to us for 18 months no interest on my Home Depot card. I really can not sing their praises loud enough. They were very friendly, helpful, and kind! These guys were great and made three customers for life! :) read more

Went to this Home Depot today and it was very crowded, no one was following the 6' distancing at check out, there was a line but it was so long and people were just walking through the line ignoring those that tried to do self distancing. Everyone grab the same scanners to scan items and there was no cleaning or sanitizing between each person. There was a lady counting people as they entered and another as they exited but the store was already pretty full. They even let people in without a mask even though it is mandatory inside Harris county. I did see a guy who was by the registers, he was the self distancing captain, he was no good since all he was doing was directing people to empty registers. And her response to us was "yeah what do you need" no eye contact , said it so rudely as if we were bothering her... if you don't want to work in customer service don't. Had the worst customer service experience here. Older Associate by the name Johnny was super rude when approached. Is implied asked if they had an item in stock because online it said that was available for curbside pick up. When asked he got an attitude and began to act smart and said well I don't know if we do with an attitude. He was very aggressive I told him that all I had was a question that he didn't need to get an attitude. Manager should check his associates attitude. read more

This Home Depot is awful! I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the 2 people that DID help us. Nothing but kids work there and don't know anything about what they're doing. You ask them a question and it's "uh..." scratching their heads, they're walking around in orange vests looking at their phones & have an attitude! Maybe it's just on the weekends here at this location, but they need to go through some training in customer service before dealing with the public. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Everytime I go and need to ask a question workers are rude and treat me like I'm stupid. I just bought 2000 dollars worth of new washer and dryer. Paid extra for delivery and set up. The day of delivery comes and goes so I call "oh they forgot to book a truck." So I wait two more days and then the guy drops them off in my driveway. I asked to help bring them to the washer/dryer spot in my garage he said "oh no that's not my job" and left. Even though I PAID for the help! So now sitting here staring at this washer and dryer my 5'3 girl ass can't lift. I called and complained and the guy "head of appliances section" literally told a coworker to "talk to this bitch cuz he can't even" the coworker told me they're work on the issue and just hung up on me! So rude! Btw even after paying 2000 dollars for a new washer and dryer they don't come with hoses or even an electrical plug (Which NOONE mentioned to me) awesome. ALSO since I bought the display i was told it was going to come with some stacker kit. You guessed it, NOT HERE! Even if it was its not like I could lift a washing machine onto my dryer alone anyways (of course that's not their job, even if you pay for it) 2k down the drain. To be jerked around by these rude people. Never again. Not to mention my "new" washer dryer is scratched and dented to shit. Thanks jerkoffs. read more

Ask to open boxes before you leave the store. People are replacing items, like ceiling fans, putting the old one in the box and bringing it back to the store for a refund. So, you go to buy something that you think is new and its an old piece of junk-nothing but the stores fault. This place knows how to take care of their clients. I went in to buy some stuff and went through the self check out. Well, I left a bag there that I didn't see. After I got home I realized it and went back to see if anyone had turned it in. Well, of course not. So I explained what happened to the clerk and he sent me to the customer service counter.I told them what happened and the lady asked for my receipt and asked what items I had left there. She told me to go get the items from the store and bring them to her. After I did that she did something on the register put my things in a bag and gave them to me and told me to have a good day.
