I took a chance to make a dreaded post New Year's return to Home Depot with a little time to spare. I was pleasantly surprised. I expected a long line and a lot of people. First off, I did not realize this location was where it was. It is more convenient than the one I went to. I pulled into the parking lot, hopped out and walked right in. There were 3 people in line and surprisingly, they had 2 cashiers working returns. My return was processed fast and easy and I was on my way. Hello. Huge shout out to the manager Jay! I was chasing some outdoor Christmas decor and was told a few times the store was expecting a delivery but the item never came in. Jay was nice enough to take down my name and number and told me she would notify me once they got more in stock. Well after 4 times checking back and forth in the store, she called me and advised that l could purchase the display! She was very professional and patient with me through out my frustration and l really appreciated her willingness to help me out! read more

Whateve you do, do not shop here. They have a practice of hiring young men and after they been there for 1 year firing them because they qualify for more pay. I have first hand accoun of this with several young men I mentor. because they are next to a high school they have countless applying. They do not build the young minds up, they destroy them once they get to a certain pay. I will never shop there again after hearing this from more than 5 young teenagers who complain to me. because they are part time they have no rights. I wish I could give 0 stars. I got a closet build installed and it was a nightmare. They don't inform you they don't do ANY patch work. I waited over 3 months for the materials to come in (which I had to keep calling them to get any info about it) they suck at communicating. Once I scheduled the date for installment they came and did it. They attached all the parts to the wall while my walls and baseboard were TORE up. They didn't even install some of the drawers correctly. A bunch were getting stuck, or didn't slide properly. As time has gone on the front panels keep falling off from the wrong size screws they used. I wish I could go back in time and never ever ever seek professional help from home depo. read more

Store itself is ok and clean for what it is but if you're trying to get some help, that's a whole different story. A couple months back we went to get some wood cut and I asked an employee to call someone. He said he would. 25 minutes later that same employee came and cut the wood. There are just too many times where you ask for help and they practically run the other way. read more

I have came to this is store on many occasions just asking, DAMN NEAR BEGGING FOR HELP! They will walk past you, ignore you, and I've even had an employee tell me that to place my order would take too long and he was going on lunch soon so he could not help! Wtf? One MOD says yes I can help but my printer is not working so you have to come back, the other told me they would give me $50 discount cause it was the store's fault, then the last MOD NAMED JAKIE was too scared to come out the back and address the discrepancy their store made. You are a MANAGER!!!! I can't tell you how discussed I am with that MOD-JACKIE AND THE OTHER MANAGER IS CHEALSIA (African American /5'7/chunky- about 260 lbs or so, always rolling her eyes, long PURPLE finger nails.....she would just rather hurry people out of the store by asking if they are paying with cash or card. She asked for help waited over 30mins for someone to help even after an employee called for someone in that department to help. She ended up calling me to go since no one would help. Showed up. Still no help. After over an hr I got their machine ladder to grab it myself, an employee stopped and we both stared at each other for a second and he just kept walking (his thought.. wtf..) Ps. This store is useless.. I just wasted an hour and half of my life and still didn't get what I came for. The employees are not trained on the products and they are understaffed. I came to purchase a cast iron tub, I asked one guy that worked in flooring to call for help in plumbing.. that never happened! Went to the door department one lady was really nice and immediately called someone to help. Walked over to plumbing asked the lady about wall mounted faucets she didn't have a clue and stated online would be better. Walked over to tubs she wrote down model info and said order up front. Went to check out up front and they said go to appliances. Waited in appliances for one lady, very nice but there were 7 couples looking at her like she was fresh meat, with absolutely no help at all.. I'm beyond pissed. It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Home Depot is my favorite place to go I've never really had any complaints until yesterday I was looking to buy an impact and waited about 20 minutes for someone to come after calling for an employee once the employee came she could not open any of the locks I guess someone changed the code so 20 more minutes pass and another employee comes by and try's it and still nothing so I insisted she call the manager to come do it since you well you know he's a manager. He never came I told them it's Home Depot why not just cut the chain or lock and add a new one we waited almost a full hour for these impacts and were told "there's really nothing I could do" It's a good Home Depot but poor customer service in most cases. read more

Generally speaking, I really love this store and appreciate their very friendly and personable employees. That said, my one qualm is that I don't think cashiers or customer service understand that it's a real hassle to return there to get a refund when they overcharge you (e.g. ring an item up twice by accident), especially when you have an emotionally unstable toddler in tow. And as a customer service person, they should give you a bigger refund for THEIR mistake which is costing you TIME and GAS and PATIENCE. But other than that, this store is great. read more

This place deserves zero stars. I live 5 minutes from here and every time I go there I have to deal with asshole employees who get mad when you ask them for help. Today I rented a trailer and the guy who completed the transaction was the rudest person I've met and ignored my questions. If I didn't need the trailer I would have gone somewhere else. Same day, I returned the trailer and waited 45 minutes in line while the only cashier in rental took her time completing 1 transaction while playing with her phone then the manager had to come her and showed no concern for the customers waiting a ridiculous amount of time. read more

Not one but TWO appliances have been wrong this month. Public service please do not ever purchase anything from this store ever again. First a dishwasher was delivered broken and I had to wait 10 days for a replacement. And today my credit card was charged for a freezer I was never going to get. It's apparently out of stock and some "glitch" still deducted the money from my card. Over an hour on the phone for them to pretty much tell me "too bad." I am done with this store. We waited an hour and a half for our pickup order only to find out they had cancelled our order and not told us because all the floor they said was in stock wasn't in stock. During our wait we flagged down multiple employees who kept assuring us they had checked and our order was being worked on even though it clearly wasn't because it was cancelled. There were probably 20 employees just milling around by the doors which I get they can't let too many people in but they don't need that many people at the doors they need people helping. Also they don't answer their phones ever.. this isn't the first time I've called and called and not been able to get through. Poor customer service at this location! I went in with my husband for several things as we are in the process of rebuilding our pergola. I was in search of shade cloth. Repeatedly, I got a "deer in the headlights" look just upon asking where the product was. Following my explanation of what shade cloth is, I was directed to three different places in the store...opposite ends of the place! After striking out for the third time, I went to the front and had to insist that someone be located that actually knew where it was to escort me to it! I was through with the wild goose chase! Product was found but this isn't the only time we have encountered staff that is unfamiliar with where stock is and what it is used for! These people are literally useless. I came in, looking for a certain type of common potting soil and a couple of other things. The cashier in the gardening center, Allegra, loudly laughed, cackled, and gossiped on her cell phone the entire time, while standing at her register. Maybe it's just me, but that's unheard of and unacceptable. You gossip on your break! After walking around aimlessly for 10 minutes, I decided to approach her for help. Her phone call continued, as she told me she couldn't leave her cash register & to go find a gardening tech. 10 minutes later, and no gardening tech in site, I proceed to the return desk, which is where the so-called manager was. I didn't even tell on Allegra, I simply told them I needed a gardening tech. They called twice, then I stood there for like 10 minutes waiting, as the lady looked like I was annoying her. So then I proceeded to tell her what'd happened with Allegra so she knew I was already upset. She replied, "well, she's right, she can't leave her register". At which time I replied "well don't you think it's a bit unprofessional that she's back there cackling on her cell phone while people need help". The so called manager apparently didn't find an employee doing such a thing as unprofessional because all I got from her after saying it was silence. So then she proceeds to tell me no gardening tech would be in the store until 3pm, which is really odd because most people who shop in the gardening section do so during the day. So then, a young lady came out of an office in plain clothes and escorted me back to the gardening section, where she pointed & advised me that the soil I wanted was "the green and white bag over there". She did this from about 75 feet from the bags, which doesn't help because all the freakin bags are green & white in some way.
