Review of my bathroom after living in it has taught me a few things. 1. I LOVE the increased storage. Esp the divider between the sinks and drawers that allows for all my items to be conveniently located while getting ready. 2. I LOVE my shower!! The walls with no door are easy maintenance and the deep divided shower niches allow for storage of shower essentials but the location makes it hidden from the immediate view. The lower niche creates a step for shaving which is perfect! 3. The shallow drawers at the bottom of the sink allow for storage and easy location of smaller items normally "lost" under a sink. 4. The colors and upkeep are gorgeous and easy to keep that way. I especially love the large tiles in the bathroom with limited grout lines. 5. Things I would change: Lighting. I did not take into consideration the level of lighting for make up application etc. it's gorgeous for relaxed spa like feel but does not allow me to see well for practical use at the mirror. I have to pull out a lighted make up mirror. Ventilation: the change in how the shower releases steam fogs up my bathroom mirrors if someone is in the shower while you're getting ready. I'm not sure how to fix this but would ask more questions. We added an additional fan but maybe needed one in the shower area? Overall, money well spent!!' 5. read more

I have purchased at this location many times over, over the years. The customer services varies from extremely kind and professional until you go the warehouse to pick up your order. The communication between the warehouse staff and the customer hits a nerve. They speak down to you, why? If no one has a desire/need to remodel their homes - then you don't have a business much less a job! read more

Obtained in-home quotes from several of their recommended installers and decided on one. Then we went to the store to pick out the flooring (type & color). Went to the Grand Opening tonight. Food was amazing and flowing from Pappas Bbq and it was well attended and catered. Parking was easy and plentiful. It's a huge and well lit store and the attendants were more than helpful. They had a lot of great giveaways and gave away a truck with sales tax paid for! I've never been to a Floor and Decor before and it's a Target-like experience shopping for construction and supplies. Wide aisles, friendly staff, well lit and organized makes it nice to shop in there. They had a networking event and had all the booths set up. It was nice to talk to the vendors and find out more about their products. If I was fixing up my home or in construction I would definitely be here, since prices were also very competitive. They also offer free ice so you can pull your truck up and fill up for the work site. read more

PRISCILLA is a joke. I had everything picked out that I needed with the quantities. All I needed was the trim. While I was looking at the trim manager stop by. I told him I was going to be placing a large order. He said, let me have our design specialist PRISCILLA help you. All she did was walk over to the register and wanted to ring up my order. When they didn't have enough trim of the one I picked out, she did nothing to help find a trim that fit my tile. I went and got the tile and told her to find me a trim that fits it. I had to make her help me. FLOOR AND DECOR don't call a cashier a Design Specialist. Evidently she didn't add the pick up name to my order either because now they can't find it. read more

How do you review a large tile store? The selection of materials seemed sufficiently large. No problems buying too much and getting a prompt refund upon return. You ll need to find a sales person to write up your order which will probably be a challenge.. and dont expect to find somebody to help with questions you might have! read more

In this day and age people are quick to criticize and slow to praise. We has just completed a complete floor change and had extra product we wanted to return. We paid for the product on line so there was an issue with the return. But Fanny Diaz stepped in and the problem disappeared!!! Her customer service skills are fantastic. I had a client who was planning on changing out her flooring throughout her entire home. We went to this location not knowing exactly what we wanted. There was this professional looking young lady helping another customer who asked us if she could be of service. We both said "Yes!". Come to find out she was the in-store designer. Her name was LaTarsha I believe. She helped us pick out all of the flooring and also the material we would need in order to get the job done. Her knowledge of the process of installing the floor helped us get exactly what we needed. I have never had an experience like that before. This was customer service at its finest. I have had several issues with the website being down and the phone line disconnects and says we are having glitches and technical difficulties. If you are thinking of shopping here, PROCEED WITH CAUTION! I came here to purchase wood flooring to update my master bedroom. I brought sample pieces of my wood flooring in an attempt to match other rooms of my home. Needless to say, their customer service is AWFUL. Their knowledge, guidance and recommendations are HORRENDOUS. After ruining several hundred dollars of flooring, I've had to hire a professional company to remove the partial installed flooring and install all new flooring. You better know what you are doing OR working with a contractor to do your home project. BEFORE you criticize, which is very easy to do, I am extremely handy, do my due diligence and I have worked on various projects big and small over the years. We had just moved into the area and trying to get settled in our new home. Had a bathroom with loose tile so had to begin a project right away to fix that. First time ever being in a Floor & Decor. We were walking around browsing different tiles and trying to get some ideas. Latarsha, one of the design consultants, stopped us to see if we needed any help. I showed her a picture of our bathroom and she listened to what I thought I wanted. She said she'd be right back and returned with some samples of what she thought I'd like. She was 100% right. Not only did she help with our current project, she also showed me some samples based on my taste, for some future projects. I recently visited your Floor & Decor store on Highway 59 in Humble, Tx. My first time in was July 10, I was looking for flooring for my living room in my hallway. I was in the vinyl flooring section and your employee, Megan, came up to me and asked if I needed help. As we spoke about what I needed (I was completed unsure) she proceeded to help me to make my decisions and order my floor for me which we picked up at the 45 location. On July 13, I had to go back to your store in Humble to see about backsplash for my kitchen. I was having a very difficult time with my contractor over the phone and not wanting to meet me to explain to me what we needed and what I could use. Being very upset with my contractor on the phone, Megan appeared. She was a lifesaver. This young lady is so helpful and so nice and just willing to answer all of the questions and help you with what you need. I cannot say enough good things about this her. I would like this to go up to the top level of management at this Store location. I would really like for someone to acknowledge this young lady and know that she is doing a wonderful job and she is out to help the customer with any and every question they may have.
