Please read ! Today I traveled 40 miles to get paint at a competitor store. That was a horrible experience . So, going across the street to Hime Depot hoping to get what I need I found Theresa working in paints . She had a customer and still acknowledged me with a greet and that she would be right with me . I patiently waited and she got to me quickly. She walked me over to an alternative paint that actually worked better for my project. She explained the quality and matched my paint perfectly. She helped two other people without dropping any service expectations I had . Absolutely hands down the best experience in a hardware store . She offered store incentives I didn't know about and made sure I had everything I needed . She was enthusiastic, she knew her product and listened to me. I ordered an electric range on Nov. 28,2025 and had a delivery date of Dec 3, 2025. Since I never received any information on delivery time I called Home Depot on Dec 3, 2025 requesting a 3 hour delivery window. The employee was helpful and said she would check on the delivery window. When she spoke again on the phone she informed me that the range had not been received yet at Home Depot. This really did upset me but what could I do. My main reason for this for this review is because If I did not call Home Depot myself I wouldn't know what was going on with delivery. I would expect Home Depot to notify me of the problem and let me know when I would be receiving the range. Home Depot shows No customer satifaction what so ever. No response as to what is going on at all. I will strongly consider future business with Home Depot. read more

On 2-28-2025 I purchased a Washing Machine at the Home Depot in Kerrville, Texas I instructed the Salesperson about my address Not being on GPS and gave him detailed directions to my home. He gave me a delivery date of 3-05-2025. I am a single 76 year old Lady with Cancer. I had to rearrange my Chemotherapy appointment to be at home on this date. On 3-05-2025. Home Depot called me and stated my delivery would be in 30 minutes. After some time, I received a message that they delivered to the wrong address and would reschedule on 3-08-2025. I am unable to reschedule my Chemotherapy appointment again. They stated they tried to call me when they were at the wrong address. THEY DID NOT. I called Customer Service at Home Depot only to be treated Very Rudely. The Delivery Service did not answer their phone. Why did they not follow the directions I gave them. Amazon, Walmart, Ups and all the other stores I shop at can always find my address. I have dealt with this Delivery Service before, they arrive in an unmarked White Van, No uniform or nametag and are Very Rude and were Sexually Inappropriate. recently was in the market for some battery grease guns ..after finding the ones I wanted I noticed there were not any on the shelf ..I asked an home depot associate by the name of jewel if there possibly was anymore in stock at the bottom where i noticed more products locked ..the associate gladly went above and beyond to locate what i was looking for ..she was very polite and helpful and was able to locate the product ! she presented the upmost outstanding customer service ! read more

The kitchen cabinet department are useless and not helpful at all, especially the manager Deb who couldn't step away from her coffee to even help with a cabinet order we placed and they messed up with dimensions. So unhelpful and poor customer service. Better to stick with Ace Hardware or Lowes, always so helpful. read more

Definitely one of the better Home Depots. When I need to find something, people don't point, they take you directly to the item. Plus, all the people here are local, so it's not like shopping in a big city Home Depot where you get lost in the store. 4 stars because they don't have as much stock as a bigger store would. read more

Employees are pretty much worthless. Went to get some vertical blind slats custom cut. Package of slats clearly say "custom cut in store" with a machine to cut them right next to the slats. So the worker tells me they don't cut them in store and I would have to use scissors. Went to Lowe's and got 3 packages of slats custom cut in store to the length I needed. read more

I have spent over 40,000 in Home Depot since 2016 on a personal home renovation, I had them double charge me on over 2,000 worth of doors and windows and when I brought it to the attention of the pro sales desk employee he told he I was wrong and gave me a run around pulling a bunch of mixed up orders which he had made the mistake of having a ticket opened multiple times and caused a lot of confusion not including over charging. I went through multiple managers and all of them blew me off until a year later when a very helpful lady at the customer service counter took on my issue and within two days found out they owed me almost 2,000 still. The next issue was I bought cabinets and had them delivered in which half of them were broken and the same sales person asked if I could just hid it by having them in a corner somewhere. Next issue was I bought hand scraped bamboo flooring, floating floor, which is trash. Period. It does not lock together and comes apart and looks like garbage. Once again I have put in a complaint and spoken with two managers on this issue and still have not had he issue resolved. They told me they would have someone come out and look at the floors, that was over 6 months ago. Don't spend your money at this store. Stick to the smaller suppliers at least they care about us little guys and would have give the time and concern deserved. Never again. read more

The only hardware store I will go to. You just have to find the right person to help you. I had to replace some sockets, it said on their website they had 3 of them in the store. The first person Said "Well, it would be here if it was here". ( was not on the shelf yet it was a new product) So I go up to customer service and explain what I wanted and how the website stated they had them here. This one staff member just went all out. Typical Home Depot. It's pretty comparable to the Lowe's nearby. I will say that both franchise hardware stores are MUCH better pricing and MUCH bigger than local hardware stores. Sometimes they may be out of a part but I suppose that is to be expected at a small town hardware store. If you have a question staff will be able to help you. I usually go here or Lowe's first and then check locally owned places if neither have the item in stock. read more

Often my trips to a Home Depot are pretty quick. Today, I bought supplies to repair (essentially rebuild) two access doors to the house's crawl space. I found an employee, Victor, and asked for feedback. He was absolutely terrific! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Not only did Victor assist me in accessing the necessary supplies and tools, but he helped me brainstorm a few other ideas I had. Another big helper in the store is Harold. Harold also brainstormed with me and showed me some options in the window ordering department. Victor and Harold are assets to the Home Depot in Kerrville. I know they are "just doing their jobs," but I'm big on customer service and these two gentlemen exceed standards. read more

I am a veteran and asked for a discount on a $8 item. I was told no because my DD-214 issued by the United States Government was not proof that I was an Army veteran during the Vietnam Era. Their statement that they support veterans is an obvious lie. I will never shop at such a store again. read more

Not about the Kerrville TX store per se, but rather one of their venders Efficient Attic Systems, a subsidiary of Will Fix It.com, from San Antonio, TX. I made contact with a person who refers for services business, at the front door. We made an appointment with and had them install blown-in attic insulation. the workers were quick, perhaps a little too quick. I now have insulation blowing into my home at two vents. The job was supposed to include sealing the A/C vents at all junctions. I stopped the installers while the work was going on, called the dispatcher and discussed the issue before the job was complete. The worker went back up and re-sealed the vent, but this morning there is still a large pile of insulation below the vent, and also at another one. This is pretty shoddy work. For a company that charges thousand, this shouldn't be happening. They are supposed to fix it today, but they come from another city, so we'll see. I am disappointed. As of 6 PM, the 10th, the technicians arrived, fixed the problem, and left within an hour. The attached the duct, resealed it, zip tied it in place, and cleaned up the insulation. At this point I am satisfied, if a little disappointed. read more
