I love coming here for everything home related. Blinds, gardening, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dog beds, bird houses, ovens, refrigerators, you name it, you'll find it here. Everywhere we looked, the security cameras were sold out. We knew if we kept searching, we'd eventually find one, hopefully two. We spoke to a lot of people via in-store, over the phone, and on-line, but we kept getting the run around. We had a very difficult time finding that security camera. So, we decided to go back to Home Depot to get more answers about the camera. In doing so, we met Mrs. Shaffer. She (a very nice, brilliant sales agent) went above, and beyond to get us answers, and the help we needed to find two Ring cameras. She told us that they, and all the surrounding Home Depots were sold out, but she would not mind calling around for us. After about 40 minutes, she found two. Establishment is clean & has friendly attentive staff. This company offers a kids dIY but due to Covid they have encouraged parents to take it home for the kids. The kits come out the first Sat of the month. You can go online & reg the child so the store knows how many to get. Once Covid is over they will start the classes back up again but for know it's a take home & complete. There is online video, instructions in the kit and number in case you still have questions. The kit comes with a certificate & pin to show the child what kits they have completed. The beauty of the kit it's all precut & holes are predrilled. Thanks for caring about the kids. Bad customer service. 9:10am 12/22, made a decision about wire shelving and went to customer service desk to ask them to call someone to help me cut the wire shelving to size. 9:25am went to customer service desk again to ask for assistance cutting wire shelving. 9:27am leader and associate walked by so I asked them if I could get assistance. Associate was carrying something but said he could help me. 9:37am. Associate never returned so I left my cart with wire shelving and all the accessories as I walked out the door, never to return to this store. I shouldn't have to beg for assistance. read more

We are regular shoppers to the Home Depot when it comes to minor DIY and our home gardening needs. We have never had any issues when it comes to finding a helping hand when we need one. The employees here are so friendly and helpful and on the rare occasion when we need to make a return, they make it so quick and easy. We have utilized their on line shopping a few times as well, with the in-store pick up, which is so convenient. This particular location is definitely one of our favorite ones to shop at. read more

Once again, what I got from this Home Depot is treated badly!! Need windows decided to try HD because the blue store is taking forever with the doors & blinds I ordered. I walked up to the male employee at the desk, he is on the phone. Waited probably 1 minute, when a female employee walks up .. the two employee speak for a few seconds... female seats down, the male employee is still on the phone. No one acknowledge me as I stand in front of them... the male employees gets off the phone & walks away! At this point, I say 'self screw it' I leave heading to Lowe's!! read more

CURBSIDE SERVICE IS A JOKE After waiting at the curbside pick up in the parking lot for 20 minutes I went inside and they check and told me to pull up to the door. I did and waited another 15-20 minutes, went inside again and this time the only person at the pick up counter went and got my merchandise and brought it out, by herself. I shop at this location infrequently but I can usually find what I'm looking for. I've actually ordered several improvement items that I had delivered that worked out really well. On one item part of it was broken and I contacted them. They had me contact the manufacturer and when I explained what happened they sent a fresh one out to me. I've had very good service in this respect. On this last occasion my oldest child was looking for a rug for their room and I had done some research on online for who had what and how much things cost. Turns out I was able to find some that were close to what they wanted in stock care at a price they were happy with. We went in and looked at several different styles and they chose one to try. This was a fairly large item but being is that it comes rolled up I was able to fit it in our vehicle with it just touching a little bit between the front seats. We got it home and inside and once it was set up they were very happy with their purchase. Along with the rug itself we got the mat for underneath the help keep it from sliding on the wood floors. The whole thing works really well. They may not be the closest to me but they are convenient quite often and overall I'm very happy with the products I purchase. read more

I will start by saying Stephen in the paint department is awesome, and I was not even buying paint. I was trying to buy 2 toilets. Which he was a tremendous help with. I even tried to tip him because he took it out to my car and he said tips are not allowed. I live in Kissimmee. I drive a lil farther because the store is very helpful, employees are excellent. I went to the Kissimmee store three times waited over an hour for anybody to help me, I didn't need any installation or anything remotely hard, I was just trying to buy two toilets. They cannot find anybody to help me. They kept calling for Jose on two occasions, two different dates and apparently Jose was doing whatever. finally sent a girl over to help me load two toilets! But the poinciana store is really awesome. Every time I've gone there I have never ever had a problem. I always had somebody to help me, Always gave me the correct product, and very nice. A+ store as far as I'm concerned, Kissimmee store, well, actually there's not even a rating for that store. When I did actually get help, they gave me the wrong product. Proceeded to tell me they did not carry the product. I was looking for even though I pulled up the Home Depot app I found it on my own. point is even if it's further, go to the poinciana store. So we have been coming to this Home Depot on an off for a few years due to it being close in proximity. Though we have rarely had a good experience here sadly. But today topped the cake. I called just before 6 to see if they had their Christmas tree tent up and if it was open to start purchasing trees. The guy said yes which yayyy because we wanted to run and grab one. So we got my two year old ready and headed out. Due to traffic we got there just before 7pm which they close at 8 and the lovely guy on the phone said the tree tent would be open the full time of business. Well we get there and the tent is closed. We caught the guy who was in the tent and asked him when they normally close and he said 8 which we were like well it's 7 and he said he was told to close up which obviously isn't his fault. We went inside to see if this was going to be a normal closing time so we could plan to come back and get our Christmas tree. The girl at the customer service counter was rude when I asked her about it so I just gave up and left. Stuff like this is just a consistent issue at this location and the management really needs to get their stuff together. All we wanted was to get our Christmas tree but I promise we will not be going to this location even if we consider getting one from Home Depot at all now. read more

Nice store but i was very disappointed that when I bought parts to my sprinkler system to find out that the key part was missing. This means I have to drive back to the store and buy the missing part. But I couldn't believe the sale price on one item I've been looking for. I've never been a fan of Home Depot because every one of them that I've been in has always been crowded and I can never find anyone to help me. This was a first! I just bought a house near this location and went to get odds and ends for repairs. I rarely go into a home improvement store because I've always been a renter until now. So do I know where anything is or what anything is?? Absolutely not. Help! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked if I needed help. I think I got this....no thanks. On my way to lighting, I saw another employee who asked if I needed help. No, I think I got this... As the doubt is building in my mind. I'm finally trying to find the kitchen bulbs I need and I'm just staring at them all. Again, another employee asks if I need help. Why yes, I do! And yes, I did have the wrong bulbs in my cart. She got me the ones I needed and asked what else was on my list of things to get. For the next 15 minutes, she walked me all over the store checking off every item on my list! It was fantastic. It would have taken me an hour to find everything myself. Plus when I was ready to check out, there was no one waiting. Did I mention this was in the middle of the day on a Sunday?? They should be slammed. I've never been to a Home Depot so friendly and helpful. I'll be getting more of my home repair items here! read more

I visited the garden center with my 13 year old daughter this morning. There was a stray cat there and she fell in love. I asked the cashier if she belonged to anyone and she said no. She was very nice and said that their manager didn't like the cat there and they had to hide her food and sneak to feed her. We asked if she thought we could take her home. She was happy that we wanted her and tried to help is get her in a carrier. Thats when things went bad. Steve came over and started yelling at us that the cat was happy and why were we taking her? I tried to have a conversation with him but he very irate and wouldn't talk to me about it. He ended up getting in my face to the point I thought he might hit me. My daughter was in tears and scared. When I asked his name and asked him why he was being an ass, he told me to get out of his face and out of his store. I understand that he was concerned about the cat and that is actually very sweet but I couldn't believe how he acted. You could feel the anger coming off of him. The cashier was so sweet and told me to come back when he wasn't there and she would help me get the cat in the carrier. I didn't get her name. Israel was also very nice and was happy that we wanted to give her a home. I don't think Steve should be working with people. He was pretty scary. My daughter has anxiety and was shaking by the time we got in the car. She has a beautiful heart and just wanted to help this kitty and was so upset by the way this man acted. read more

This is one of the most disorganized companies that I have seen. We have been trying to schedule an appointment for estimate on a roof for months. The appointments were cancelled 4 times at the last minute. These were with no apparent reason except for the last time !!! We were told that the SALES MANAGER, whose initials are R.R. cancelled the appointment because they were Overbooked. Mind you, we were contacted the day before to Confirm the appointment. Seems to me that if you were sensitive to your customers you would see which ones have been cancelled before and prioritize them to be serviced next. We were also told that there were issues with them having 2 data bases which confused the staff. We called Lowes's and received an estimate in a timely fashion. I guess Home Depot did not want my $11,000.00 project. Persons in management, sales and IT need to get their act together. read more

Rose was helpful after a customer service break down with another employee. My one goal to was to get a 6 gal shop vac. I checked the app and it said they had 10. I get to the store and spent about 10 min looking for it because the isle it was on was not marked sequential. Several employees had pasted me while I was see being and not one smiled, greeted or even attempted to ask if I needed help. I even dropped my basket off my Knee Rover that had metal cans in it and 2 employees walked by in conversation and neither offered help. I finally get to the aisle the shop vac is supposed to be on and the one I wanted was not there. I asked one of the employees about it and he said he would get someone to help. A few minutes later another employee come strolling through the aisle, looks at me and say "what happened here?" Not greeting, hello were you needing assistance. I politely responded that I had surgery. He then walked past me with his cart. He then turned and said did someone need something. I let him know I was looking for a shop vac and there were none on the floor but the app said there were 10. He said he had been looking to stock them earlier in the morning and he said they were over on aisle 15 in overstock and he walked off continuing to put stuff that was in his cart away. A little shocked I approached him and said "does that mean I cannot get it today?" He then said he would need to see if he could get one. He need to ask someone. I decided to roll over to aisle to verify it was there. Sure enough it was on the top on a wrapped pallet. So I decided to wait. I saw the employee stop and talk to another employee and it was a personal conversation, not about the shop vac. He was still pushing his cart around. He then disappears and I figure he was asking about the shop vac. 10 minutes go by and still no guy. Eventually she shows back up on aisle 15 and he motions to me and said let me show you where it is at. I let him know I saw where it was at and I asked how him for a yes or no answer, "could I purchase one today?" He goes back in to needing to talk to someone else and I asked home if I needed to go ask someone else because at this point I had been here for over 30 minuets for this shop vac. He said I should go to customer service. Customer Service is where I met Rosa. Very nice and helpful. So she calls the other guy I was with and he gives her the runaround as well. She ends up calling someone and they said they would get the shop vac down. Eureka I was going to get my shop vac. So I wait for another 20 min. By this time my hip and knee are screaming. Finally I see the same guy walking up with the shop vac. It was bigger than I though it would be, but no worries it would fit in my car. I just wanted to check out and get off my foot. So I, on my knee rover push it to check out, yep, the guy did not off to push it for me. It was a little awkward but I managed. There I was met by and other nice employee and I cannot remember her name but she was in the self checkout. She had healed my other shopping while I waited for the shop vac. She assisted in getting everything scanned. Then I noticed the total and something was wrong....guess what, they had pulled to wrong shop vac! They had brought down a 16 gal one. Ireally felt defeated. She said she could have them get the correct one but at that point I had been there for over an hour and I did not want to hang around for another 1/2 hour while they figure out the correct one. I had her remove the incorrect one from my scanned items and pause for the other items and left. I try to shop local and support the local stores but I will be ordering this off the website. If it were not for paying for gift cards, I would be pitching from another source completely. I am very disappointed with trip overall other than Rosa and the last who helped at check out. Do NOT purchase major appliances from Home Depot. Two of the 2 kitchen 4 appliances (Stove and refrigerator) received had problems and 60 days later - even after dealing with the repair center - we still have issues. Read Home Depots return policy for appliances. If they deliver something and it's not working right, you are pretty much screwed! ...I've purchase appliances from Lowes in the past and NEVER had them refuse to take care of any issue that arose. Not to long ago i put in a spichel order for carpet for my condo so home depot had to have a 3rd party come out to check the square footage befor we knew what the end price would be. Everyone that i delt with was of great help as i went back to place my order. About 3 and a half weeks later the carpet had arrived to be installed buy the 3rd party vendors but found out that there was not enough carpet. As i sat there trying to figure out what was going on and why i was told that they would not be able to lay any of the carpet do to them being short. At this point i could not understand why they did not have enough and was a bit puzzled. Turns out after a few calls that were made within i would say about a half hour of realizing we did not have enough found out the people that came to check the footage of my place did not put a 12×12 square foot into the total measurement and was told that the carpet would have to go back and would take about 2 weeks to get the right amount back to do the job. Now mind you i was very upset at this point because my place was down to the dear floor. After they left i went right to to the store quite mad at the fact that after this wait and haveing already paid for the job it was not done and i was told by the 3rd party it would be possibly another 3 weeks befor it may get done. Now i will admit once im upset and on a roll it is very hard to slow me down no matter what. But at the same time i know this is not a perfect world and yes things do happen. I will try and make this very short as im sure you have better things to do. Everyone that i talked to at home depot about my problem and at some points was not in the best mood went way above and beyond to help me and make things more right then i could have hoped for. My place looks great and i am very happy with the work thats was done and the way they handled the problem. I will continue to shop at this home depot for all my home improvement needs and all the odds and ends. And i would also recommend this home depot to anyone that is looking for a store with great customer service to the upmost. I will never buy anything from them again~!! Tried to order a dishwasher online to be picked up at this Home Depot. after a terrible time trying to get this ordered, I get a call around 6/630 friday night saying it would be ready for pickup in app 30 minutes...too late to do anything that night call the man who was going to install it (HD could not do it for over 2weeks) to pick it up sat. morning. He was there at 930am and was told it was locked in the back and could not be picked up til Mon. After over 3 hours on the phone they agree to let him pick it up but by that time he left and said he could not install it after the holidays(still had to pay him for his time waiting). So I cancelled. Got a case number told it should be refunded in 7 business days. The manager of the store called me 4 days later saying it was cleared to pickup. Told it was canceled she got mad said wish someone had told her. When I said it was canceled on Sat she hung up before I could finish. When I called to check on the refund 15 days later...I was told it was on it's way to Texas and I had to wait till it arrived in TX in 4 days to ask for a refund(it was sent to TX 2 weeks after it was cancelled at the HomeDepot office and 1 week after I told the store manager it was cancelled) Don't know why it was sent there. Was the manager just doing it out of spite? May never know. ps I cancelled this on Sat at 1230 pm...called Sears and in 15 minutes I had a dishwasher order paid and installation date for Mon with all the extra parts for only $30 more total than just the dishwasher alone HD!
