needed a key for a shed duplicated. I called a locksmith and he apologized for not having the blank. Called White's and they said they had the blank. Went there and got two duplicates and it was quick and they were very courteous and helpful;\. Would recommend them for keys. read more

Establishment was clean, employees were attentive helpful and friendly. Today at certain Ace Hardware they are giving free paint samples away. This location doesn't carry that brand of paint but they do partner of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals all for good cause. read more

I have been coming to this store since moving here 20 years. I generally come here before ever going to the home improvement stores, that is until today. Service, which is the main reason I came here first, has been getting worse for some time now. I waited 10 minutes to get keys made. Staff walked pass me like I was invisible. The lady behind the register called on the radio and still no showed up the help me. I left and made my way to Lowe's. This place did not have the lowest prices, but I figured that was offset by the service. Since the service is not any better now than the home improvement stores I might as well save my money. read more

Natali was very helpful and friendly. I needed a new drill bit for installing mini-blinds and didn't know what to look for. She found one very quickly and I went back to my project and finished. It looks great except now I need to spackle and paint bc I had to move the new brackets to a different location than the old brackets. Thank you Natali. This Ace Hardware is wonderful. My go-to place for the last ten years. With all the trips I make to White's I should live next door. As close to an old fashion hardware store as you will find in Florida. They have everything. Plus the staff are always very friendly and VERY knowledgeable and quick to help. I love this place. read more

All I needed was to have a couple keys made. It sounds like a simple thing, but the original key was an odd size and Home Depot in Winter Haven was no help at all-they ignored me while I stood waiting at the key center. I googled a hardware store, found White's, and was in and out in less than five minutes. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. I went to Ace because I thought them to be more helpful than the big box outlets. What I got was ripped off. When I went to pay for my merchandise it rang up higher in price than what was listed. I protested the price difference and told them the price marked was lower than what I had been charged. When I went to show them the price as marked they said no it was wrong and the price I was charged was correct. I then told them that I didn't want it. I was unaware that they had already charged my debit card as a credit card and told me I had to sign for it, I refused to sign for a purchase I did not want and they had no right to go ahead and charge my account. The store manager went ahead and signed my receipt after I told him I was not making a purchase and charged my account by signing the statement anyway. I have the outstanding charge and made no purchase, They baited and changed the prices, and when I sounded them about it, they went ahead after I told them not to, sign my charge and took money out of my account. My next stop is the states attorney's office. Be very careful and watch these people if you have to shop there. Personally, I wish now I had gone to the big box stores, least they are not out right thieves. As of now, I'm still out my money and nothing to show for it but grief, all I can say is buyer be ware of this business. read more
